  • Andy Montañez

by PP on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 5 out of 5

The sound was not good. The only clear sound was Andy Montañez, he killed it! I could not hear the others sing, words were almost muffled. The sound system needs work. It’s disappointing since I was looking forward to it. Andy made up for it.

  • Great bands terrible sound

by salsadj on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 3 out of 5

It was such a shame to have legends on stage complaining as did most of the audience, complaining about the terrible sound experience. I will not attend another event at this venue.

  • Low Value Event Organization and Venue

by Luis Alvarado on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 1 out of 5

Events at the Miramar Regional Park are of less and less value and quality. First the event organizer changed the seat layout, table arrangements , and the seat map did not clearly show the view limitations from the center columns of the amphitheater toward the stage. Second, only one bar to serve Sections 1 to 4 formed one-hour lines between Section 1 and 2 that blocked the view to the stage for the entire event. Third, sound issues affected the four bands and particularly when Andy Montañez was on stage. Fourth, the security onsite left their post and did not control people who stand in the walkways blocking the view. Finally, events in the Miami and Broward areas are decreasing in quality while tickets prices remain high resulting in a bad to average quality. The only venue worth visiting is the HardRock Theater based on the six Summer concerts I went in Loan Depot, Kasea Center, Miramar, and even Hard Rock Stadium.

  • What a sham!!

by Evy on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 1 out of 5

I bought 3 tickets totaling $167 for Eddie Palmieri in July ..when I arrived the venue..I was told there were other great performers but no Palmieri! I was never informed of the substitution by Ticketmaster or the city of Miramar.. both denied a refund!! The sound was so bad and distorted I left after 45min.!! Imagine buying tickets for the Nutcracker and The Hunchback of Notre Dame performing 🎭 ! I will pursue this travesty especially when told by ticketmaster that I was confused!!

  • Sound system

by Charlie on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 3 out of 5

Andy is always good! But the sound system and the sound engineer didn’t perform a good job.

  • Poor sound

by Isg on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 2 out of 5

The poor sound made it dificult to understand what they were singing .

  • Great music but lousy sound

by David T on 9/12/23Miramar Regional Park Amphitheater - MiramarRating: 3 out of 5

All of the bands that played were in great form. Unfortunately the Sound was incredibly bad. I'm not sure who was responsible but the speaker system was completely unsuited for the venue. A lot of people complained about the sound. We had really good seats but chose to grab a couple of chairs and sit on the lawn. Even with HiFi Earplugs the sound was intolerable.

  • Andy did not dissapoint

by GoodKarma0221 on 5/21/18House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 3 out of 5

I went to see Andy and did not disappoint. He is an institution of salsa music. Great to see him perform, dance and being the friendly and humble person he is known for. Sound was excellent, I am not a fan of standing room, but I made the sacrifice just to see him. I am not a big fan of Tito, he has a great voice, I am just not a fan. Loved that Andy sang all the beautiful songs he is known for. Overall, it was a great show.

Performance was great. Our only issue was the expensive watered down drinks. Otherwise, the show, performers and ambience was great.

  • Salsapalooza

by SalsaLoverPR on 12/11/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

AWESOME!!!! We loved it so much! Date night for me and my husband so extra special indeed! The venue was perfect.

  • by Ebby506 on 12/11/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

The music was wonderful. The venue did not allow many to dance. Certian spots are better to sit at than others for this reason.

  • Salsapalooza Concert

by Slim117 on 12/11/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was great but very disappointed that Grupo Niche only sang 3 songs and then the concert was cut short while Andy Montanez went on and on making jokes. Next time, make sure that Grupo Niche performs first. Very disappointed.

  • Amazing show by legendary acts!!

by Slasaforlife on 12/10/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Each act was amazing! I felt so fortunate to have been able to see these three legends on the same stage on the same night!

Pure salsa amazing .... The only downfall was that the show was to only 3 hours long....

  • Amazing

by lambo212 on 12/10/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

First time at the NJPAC. The place was georgious. Great, great venue. I went to the Salsa Vive Concert at MSG last month and it was nothing compared to this. I finally got to see my idol, Andy Montanez. Jerry Rivera hit it out the park.

  • Salsapalooza was amazing

by Lauste19 on 12/10/13New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the venue! Loved the artists! However disappointed Grupo Niche only played 10 songs, while the others played mored. They are such an incredible group and they have such a repertoire and 10 songs was not enough. Disappointed they did not play Cali which was the song everyone was asking for them to play as an encore. We left wanting a lot more songs from them; they were incredible. I would pay so see them again and so were the people that were at the event. Also, DJ Alex Sensation, loved him! Sencond time I have seen him at a similar event.
