About

Andrew Dice Clay is proud to be America's most controversial and outrageous comic of all time. To this day, Clay remains the only performer banned for life from MTV.  When he released his debut album, DICE, the parental advisory label simply read "Warning: This album is offensive."
But despite all the media backlash, Dice has remained a comic icon and the self proclaimed “Undisputed Heavyweight King of Comedy.” While others have called Dice, “One of the Last True Phenomenons of the 20th Century.”
Dice’s rise to fame was meteoric but the secret to Dice's continuing success is that he has a lot more going for him than shocking and being a potty mouth. Clay is a disciplined, talented and versatile performer/actor. His acting roles and credits clearly show that Clay is capable of being just as funny without the dirty words.

    DICE STILL RULES!

by paulwellerfan on 10/4/09Wilbur Theatre - Boston

I had heard that Dice's best years were long behind him. He was absolutely HILARIOUS. There were no dull moments, no long pauses. I laughed the whole night. I was not at all disappointed.

    Diceman in Boston

    by Hobbitt1 on 10/4/09Wilbur Theatre - Boston

Well the Diceman returned to Boston, and he had the audience laughing up a storm. He started off picking on 2 men with bald heads, then went into female anatomy and ended the show with the nursery rhymes. It was a funny show, there were a few negatives in my opinoin. The show started 20 minutes late, the opening act was ok at best, and Dice was only on stage for about 45 minutes. But it was still great to see the Diceman making the fans laugh.

Diceman was very disapointing. Time to hang it up!

by Kingdave on 7/18/09Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

Paid at least 80.00 per ticket to see the " Legendary Diceman." Well the first act was ok, I laughed a few times, but as the night progressed it kept getting worse. The second act was average at best & then I anxiously awaited the main attraction thinking that it is going to make up for the earlier acts. Boy was I wrong!! So Dice came out & talked about his microphone for at least 10 minutes BORING!! Then he stopped the show several times & threatened to leave the stage if a certain individual wasnt removed for being disruptive.Ok lets get this straight you are going to throw some one out of your show??? He should have thanked eveyone for being there & appologize to everyone for being so horrible. This was by far the biggest disapointment to any show that I have ever seen. I would rather watch amateurs than this guy. It is time to give it up as this was the worse performance ever. Do not go!!!! I would have got more enjoyment from setting my money on fire than wastging it on this show.

    Dice IS the MAN

by Deadwood on 7/15/09The Canyon - Agoura Hills

Great show, alittle short, but standard disgusting, foul dice! The food was acceptable, but expensive for what you get. Drinks were off the charts expensive and pretty bad. The beer choice was weak! Overall a great show by the Diceman

be careful at a Dice show--

by silentbutdeadly on 7/13/09Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

good 'ol Dice was as filthy and obnoxious as ever and thoroughly enjoyed to say the least----BUT, i was at a table across from the most drunken, loud and nearly-unbearable guy in the whole place; very annoying but what are ya gonna do? during the show, ironically, a different guy about 10 feet away made some noise or some shouted comment that at one time might have been something memorable from a previous Dice era, several times, like 'botta-bing, botta-boom' or something LIKE that----well, Dice has become a fuddy-duddy over the years and this guy was made to look like a fool by being sent-out of the show to teach him a lesson about 'interrupting my routine' as Dice put it, for at least ten minutes or more. i mean, it USED TO BE that you could EXPECT him to interact with people that indicated that they had been affected positively by Dice's humor in the past, but not anymore, so, keep it down at a Dice show, once he gets on-stage. oh, yeah, the guy across from me ALMOST got our whole table ejected from the show by making a racket as well---wouldn't have mattered; the first two warmup comedians gave us our money's worth before Dice came-out-----go see him, but don't stand-out at his stand-up!

    Unbelievable...OH!

by EricL on 7/13/09Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

Even though he's 25 years older, heavier, and grayer, the D-Man still has it! His wholesome, G-rated humor is still fun for the whole family! :-) Seriously, his still filthy but funny humor was actually not recycled stuff from the original HBO special, but new original twisted thoughts from the King of Filth. Except for a few slow moments, Dice kept everyone laughing for well over an hour. And of course, he threw in a few classic nursery rhymes at the end for the audience participation portion of the show! A great time was had by all!

    Dice was disappointing

by longimedicefan on 7/13/09Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

The opening comedians were great. Very funny and worked great with the crowd. Andrew Dice Clay was a joke. He didn't talk to anyone in the audience. He had a few funny jokes. Then he got angry with a guy in the audience who apparently said "Ba Ba Booey" (the sidekick from the Howard Stern show) and proceeded to make a huge spectacle even threatening to walk off the stage. I was right in the front and never even heard the guy. Dice was the one who gave him attention. I thought his reaction was really childish and I was ready to leave the show. Dice could have really made the show great by engaging the guy and harassing him. He could have made a good time out of it, but instead ruined the show. Don't waste your money.

    LOL

by pixie1962 on 7/13/09Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

I went to see the Dice show with my husband on Saturday night. The only thing we were disappointed in was that it started 25 minutes after the start time. I would have given it 5 stars if he would have started at 9. The show was GREAT! We were laughting all night. and the following day and I am still laughing as I write this review. . I would recommend this performance to anyone!

    Dice was just ok...

by TakeMyAdvice on 7/12/09Turning Stone Resort & Casino Showroom - Verona

Dice was ok...he spent a lot of time interacting with one or two individuals in the front row and then yelling at others who were saying things out loud. His two openers were better than he was and I would have been satisfied if they did 30 minutes more each and Dice didn't even come out on stage. The only reason I went to see him was because of his time on the Howard Stern Show on Sirius/XM radio, but then when someone in the audience said yelled something about Howard Dice threw a temper tantrum. He even treatened to walk off stage because of the Howard references he was getting. I think he needs to understand that Howard's show is the only think keeping him relevant and the only reason he is selling tickets to his show.

Dice, didn't disappoint his real fans

by Drknow on 7/12/09Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

You need to keep in perspective the type of humor that Andrew Dice Clay presents. It's Raw, Crude, Adult, Spontaneous, Sexual and most of all un-nerving as he penetrates and proves there is humor in every aspect of life. He demonstrates there is humor in the most intimate of actions and the most mundane aspects of life, if you can verbalize what you are thinking or seeing at the time. Your glad he is saying it, because you have thought about it the same way sometimes. Keep an open mind and think of your inner thoughts as he says things, and you won't stop laughing for over an hour. Thanks Dice, you didn't disappoint!!

    andrew dice clay

by upton0077 on 7/12/09Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

Andrew "Dice" Clay is rude, obnoxious, and still as funny as heck. He abuses audience members to the delight of all. And, he still telling rhymes. This show was just a lot of fun. If you like his humor (which I do) then it is worth the cost of admission.

An experienced comic, and it shows...

by TwoTone on 7/12/09Tropicana Showroom - Atlantic City

Like many folks my age (38), my introduction to Dice Clay was via his now classic HBO concert from late 1980's. I have seen many of his subsequent concert videos, including Dice Rules, No Apologies, etc, and own a few of his cds. I was one of the first in line on opening night of his movie "Ford Fairlane," and thoroughly enjoyed it, although it received some poor reviews; I wondered why his most recent endeavor (a reality-comeback show), was cancelled, as I thought it very entertaining. Finally, Glenside, PA @ the Kenswick Theater, 2009, I got my chance to see my favorite comedian live, but wondered...was he still as good??? We were about 13 rows from the stage, and the show was very good. I just saw Dice last night @ the Tropicana Showroom (3rd row center). Now the review: Although the opening act was short, and funny, I believe a longer solo appearance better suited for Dice's persona. I noticed a marked difference between this show and the smaller, Kenswick. Andrew seemed happier and more dynamic with the larger audience. From start to finish, he was completely in control, though appearing to be shooting from the hip. Most impressive to me, was that this show was not a carbon-copy of the other show I saw on this tour. Probably 65% or more of the show was completely different. There was, of course, some of the same material, but even then, it was skillfully interspersed differently throughout both shows...Subject matter included Obama, sex, penis size, the guys in the front rows, etc. Dice is not laying-back and riding the wave from the 80's & 90's...He is as creative and funny as ever, though he does finish up with the obligatory Nursery Rhymes, which both audiences reveled in. There were two drunken dudes in the 3rd row being moderately disruptive. After addressing them once or twice, with "Shut up assface," they continued. Finally, Andrew walked over and made the idiot stand up, lectured him, and had security escort him to the back of the room to "face the wall for 10 minutes." His buddy quickly followed, and was also escorted out. The way Dice handled this situation was masterful. He gave them their 5 secs of attention, was funny, then kicked them out!! Security guys appeared a bit unsure at first, of Dice's orders, but did actually eject them from their seats. Dice did not appear nervous, nor unsure for even one second...someting very important for his "character." Exactly how much of the show is rehearsed and how much is improv, only Andrew knows for sure...and that's exactly how a experienced comedian should appear! Andrew is seasoned and acomplished with impeccible timing. He is still sharp, charismatic, filthy, and funny as ever...Bottom line: Dice Clay still "has it;" no doubt about it. Although he left me wanting for more at the end of the show...that's exactly what an entertainer strives for! I could have easily been captivated for another 45 minutes. That is not to say, that the approx. 1 1/2 hour set was not sufficient. Although I very much wanted Dice to be as good as ever, I half-expected him to be less...Happily, the former was the case! I do wonder, though, why he doesn't wear any of those old, Glitzy studded jackets...perhaps those are retired for want of the days of sold-out giant sports arenas. I believe that Andrew has nothing to be ashamed of...the Tropicana is nothing to sneeze at. Perhaps those "Big-Arena" days are gone, but not because of anything Dice does or doesn't do...I think that he hit America at just the right time back then...What other comedian can even SAY that they sold out Madison Square Garden? After seeing this show, I am thoroughly convinced, that Andrew Dice Clay is one, if not THE very best comedian of my generation...in the vein of Kinison, Pryor, etc... He was a pleasure to watch, and the closer seats GREATLY add to the overall enjoyment of the show (as he did spend alot of time re-naming front-rowers, like Vinnie, and Joey-D, you can see exactly who he is referring to). I honestly cannot offer even one justified criticism. The 9:00 show didn;t start until 930, but that's to be expected. By the way, I have NEVER written a review of a concert before, comedy or otherwise. I just felt strongly that this show merited it. Thank you, Dice, for all the years of laughs...past and future!...
