    Ancient Aliens Live Review

by Phil from Tulsa on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

The Ancient Aliens Live Show was interesting and fun. The content covered discussions of historic events and locations around the world with no acceptable facts or explanations for their purpose.or how they were built or achieved. The TV show they participate in on the History Channel asks the hard questions and uses scholars in many fields to research and investigate possible answers and solutions to the problems the questions of fact create.

    It Was Great

by Astro7175 on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

It was informative and not the "down the wormhole crazy." I was afraid it would devolve into the questionable and really unbelievable. It was like the early seasons of the show. Was really great.

Nothing New, not worth the $$ and effort to go to the show

by KK Downing on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

If you've been watching the show for the past decade, you'll realize that they pretty much repackage the same stories about the same ancient monolithic sites over and over and sprinkle in new perspectives very sparingly. Being that this was the live event, I expected to see something that wasn't included in any of the shows. Spoiler Alert, there isn't anything like that. It's basically a panel discussion, led by Nick Pope, where the crew restates what's been in the series over and over again, with some clips of the episodes mixed in. Georgio gets most of the stage time as he does on the show (he's the most flamboyant of the group anyway). David Childress doesn't say much and it is what it is. Basically, you're paying to see the guys in person make the same exact arguments as they do on the show. If you have Discovery Plus, you can see all of this for free. In closing, I really wanted to Love this event! It just didn't get there for me. I think if you are someone who has only casually watched a few episodes of the show and you are curious about the guys, you might like it better than I did. Here in Tulsa, there were about 1500 people there, after the first 30 min or so, I saw people getting up to leave and that picked up the pace after the first hour. My wife and I left before it was over as well because we didn't want to get stuck in the post show traffic.

    Ancient Aliens

by Charliemac on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

Th guys did not disappoint. I have watched them for years in envy as they explore our mysteries. They were great. My seat was another matter. The seat I purchased would have allowed a great view. However, I was "relocated" for whatever reason, to a seat in the back, on the floor where I could see very little.

    Too Close For Comfort

by Nani on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

The show itself was great. Loved seeing all of the Ancient Aliens favorites and very glad they came to Tulsa. The only con was the seating arrangement. The seats were narrow and they were hooked together so there was no adjusting the proximity to my neighbor, who was a very large man on one side of me so I had to sit with my shoulders tucked in the whole time. Also, all the chairs were set at one level which made it hard to see anything or anyone on stage through all of the heads that was in front of me. The stage and/or chairs the panel were in could have been set higher in order for the audience to see them. I would love to see Ancient Aliens again, just not at this venue.

    A little disappointed

by Paula on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

I enjoyed the event and it was fairly informative for an alien novice, but this was basically the guys sitting on stage with a scripted presentation. I wish there would have been Q&A from the audience.

    The Truth is Out There

by Firemusic on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

The event was enjoyable in the respect that one got to see the cast in person. Sadly, the event was literally scripted, as the cast members each had a clipboard with notes and speaking points. At one point, Travis began to talk about an event and had to look at his script to get back on track. Even the attempts at humor came across as part of practiced banter. Anyone expecting to hear new information, or information they weren't allowed to broadcast on the show, will be greatly disappointed. With all that said, it was an enjoyable evening and I enjoyed the experience of seeing the cast in person.

Great Staff, Cramped Seating, Poor Viewing

by CO on 1/23/23Tulsa Ballroom at Cox Business Convention Center - Tulsa

The staff was friendly and helpful in getting ticket holders through security and to their seats. The floor sections are all flat because the space is also a ballroom and exhibit hall, so it was very difficult to see over and around the people in rows in front of us. Our seats were in row L, which should have been a decent place to view the stage, but we could not see the panel of experts on the stage, which was set too low. If it had been 3-5 feet higher or if large screens were set up to project the program, we would have enjoyed it much more.

    It was great!

by F. E. on 12/16/22The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

It was really informative. The only thing I would have wanted them to do was have a question and answer period with the audience.

    Up Close and Personal

    by L. D. on 11/26/22Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

Our experience at the Lynn Auditorium was a great opportunity for east coast followers of this History Channel series! It was a good review of some major topics with a reveal of Dr. Taylor's added role on the Disclosure Committee. And, as always, it was a delight to witness and hear the interactions of these passionate people! Our thanks to Lynn Auditorium for hosting this event and, of course, to Giorgio, David, Will, Nick and Dr. Travis for providing us with this fun and informative evening! Keep up the good work!

    not my favorite venue

by Kim on 11/25/22Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

Seats are cramped. Never able to hear or see at Lynn Auditorium; if it's a concert attendees stand and chat as if in a bar. For this event, too many hecklers interrupting in first half. Nothing new except I appreciated the close up of the "H" blocks with CNC machined grooves & holes...& the disclosure of Travis working for the Pentagon which I felt confirmed my theory that the govt may use the show to spoon feed the public slowly, to build up to full disclosure. Now the navy, pentagon etc, so obvious. Basically just a review of the show though. I didn't pay the extra for the cast meet & greet selfies so it seemed to end early. Kinda silly when the cast took selfies of the audience or should I say blinding lights is likely all they saw in their pics. It was cute, indicative of entertainment for the average IQ, meaning the majority. Gotta make a living I suppose, pay for their travels around the globe. I love how they encouraged everyone to travel to these places...as if any of us could afford that. That's why we watch vicariously on TV LOL. Again, cute. That's my 2 cents for what it's worth. It was a pleasant night out on the town.

Like being on an episode of Ancient Aliens!

by DawnArts on 11/24/22Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

The show was great. I know a lot of the topics covered were on episodes of Ancient Aliens, but it was great to see the guys sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge about each subject. They really were a lot of fun and had genuine chemistry. I would definitely go again! The only cons were that the venue had very limited parking, and essentially no handicap accessibility. There were a few fools in the audience who were calling out stupid stuff that really detracted from the show, they should have been removed by security.

An evening with the masters of Ancient Alien theory.

by Richard Silvio You on 11/23/22Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

I was absolutely freaking out to see the panel live.l've been a serious fan since the first show. I'm a total believer of alien existence. There is to many signs left behind from so many different civilizations. They all say and show the same signs. Way to often to be a coincidence. I purchased the VIP experience because to meet the panel in person for me,would probably be a once in a lifetime experience. I was not let down by any means,GEORGIO gave me a hug besides shaking my hand, and to say it made my day would be an understatement. It made my Life !!!! Thank you So much guys I love you all and am praying to God that I can somehow afford to go to Alien Con in Pasadena in March . Maybe if GEORGIO or one of the other panel reads this review, which was written by my heart and soul, will invite me personally. Thanks Guys Love you all . You Guys are the BALLS!

    5/5

by Classical on 11/22/22Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

Nick Pope did a terrific job moderating - the right man for the job. And man, it was impressive that they leaned into the fact that they're walking memes. But with that, they used the opportunity to provide thoughtful discussion throughout - especially Tsoukalos asking who created the creators. Very conversational, mostly intelligible, and truly funny (Tsoukalos vs. Childress was a riot, and Henry showed very well). Can't wait for next time they come through!

Ancient Aliens - out of this world

by RandyB on 11/22/22Lynn Auditorium - Lynn

This knowledgeable panel was thoroughly entertaining! To set the scene, the group took a position in comfy chairs, introduced each other and presented video clips and still images on all topics aliens often leaning on the team member with the most knowledge for each topic. They provided expert narration and engaging dialogue on topics discussed regularly on the popular TV program. Often the team showed themselves to be self aware, joking on tag lines like "I'm not saying its aliens but" or commenting on Georgio's famous mile high hair. Where the event fell short for me is in on the length of the time spent on stage, less than 2 hours. Unfortunately, the panel did not take any direct questions from the audience either but that may have been a good idea since wrangling 1500 people is no easy feat. It might have been nice to allow folks to drop questions in a box pre-show then answer a few randomly. One last suggestion for future...maybe the team could introduce some theatrics at the beginning, perhaps a pretend alien ship similar to what can be found at the Roswell UFO & Research Museum.
