About

Whitney Houston was a true legend.

Her rich, powerful voice is adored by millions and has spawned an entire industry of gospel-influenced pop singing. She's won six Grammys and two Emmys, sold more than 20 million records worldwide, and ranks as one of the best-selling music artists in history.

Houston's career began with a modest upbringing in Newark, New Jersey. In 1981, she became the lead singer for a group called The New Edition, which was known for its popular radio hits. She soon went on to pursue a solo career and released her debut album in 1985. Over the next 30 years she would have several more No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts, including "How Will I Know," "Saving All My Love for You," and, of course, her version of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You."

It would be hard to overstate the impact Houston had on the music industry throughout her career. She set records that still stand today. She holds the record as the only artist to have seven consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits. She has seven consecutive multi-platinum albums -- six studio albums and a soundtrack album, all released within a 10-year period. And, she was the first artist to have seven consecutive No. 1 hits and the first female artist to enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1. Whitney became known as The Voice for good reason: her vocal range made her a powerhouse even among powerhouses.

She also starred in a number of blockbuster movies, including The Bodyguard (for which she also recorded the theme song), Waiting to Exhale, The Preacher's Wife (for which she won two NAACP Image Awards), and more.

Houston's life and career have come to represent the best of a generation. Her voice, her songs and her stage presence have inspired millions around the world. Although we lost her in 2012, the magic of her presence lives on in her music.

Now, that magic is coming to a stage near you with An Evening With Whitney Houston: The Whitney Houston Hologram Concert. This immersive experience combines cutting-edge digital technology with incredible light displays and 3D sound design to create an unparalleled experience. Houston's hologram is superimposed over live dancers to give you the sensation that you're actually there with her as she performs some of her most famous songs.

This performance is a unique opportunity to celebrate one of the most iconic artists in music history. Audiences can expect an extraordinary evening that delivers all the thrilling vocals and emotions for which Whitney Houston was renowned.

This show was incredible. I loved every song and the hologram was so neat. It got emotional for a bit which was beautiful. Of all six shows we saw, this was the best.

Terrible, Basically you are paying at least $90 for watching a youtube video. Very bad drum sound in the back. I would NOT recommend this unless at all.

    Pretty cheesy

by J-Squared on 5/10/22Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This show is pretty cheesy. The hologram stays in one place throughout the show. The dancers don’t even have proper costumes (they are wearing black t-shirts). There is a lot of lip syncing and overly excited choreography. This show fits better at an amusement park or cruise ship — something you don’t pay extra for, it comes with the experience.

I was amazed and in awe. I absolutely loved this show.

by Keedy on 5/4/22Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It's as if Whitney is still physically here with us. The sound effects, the visual effects, the band, and the dancers were all amazing. I encourage everyone to go check out this show if you are in Las Vegas or happen to be traveling there soon. I would love to see this show again. Her greatest and top hits are performed, and it will have you singing along.

    Whitney Houston Hologram Concert

by Steve M on 4/25/22Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

First of all this was a second hologram concert for us. The first was Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly. There is a live band, live backup singers and live dancers. With a phenomenal stage set up and the band playing, you can sometimes forget it is a hologram. It is the closest experience to seeing Whitney Houston Live-playing her hits for a 75 minute concert on the planet. If you go be prepared to suspend belief, you will think she is present and singing. The show is well worth the money and a great value.

    It's okay

by VegasGator91 on 4/20/22Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Nothing really spectacular about An Evening with Whitney. There were all the hits you know and I'm sure they probably spliced video from various Whitney concerts in the past to create the hologram. The Harrah's Showroom is quaint. The individual seats in the front are a bit narrow and uncomfortable. I was blinded a few times from the side lights on the stage. The band and dancers in the show were good, but not spectacular.

    Lame at best

    by M. W. on 4/18/22

Image was not to correct size... didn't mesh well with live dancers. I love Whitney and love her music, but this was just bad. I was so excited to attend this and was so disappointed.

A different kind of concert for sure

by Longhornhammy on 4/15/22Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This was our first experience with a hologram concert. At times it was easy to forget it wasn't Whitney Houston live on stage. At other moments she didn't look exactly like herself or the image was a bit fuzzy. However, the live band playing and the very good dancers really made the shop pop. We enjoyed ourselves from seats in the first rows. However, it was loud! That might have been reduced sitting further back in the theater, but then the image of Whitney probably would have looked much smaller. All in all we had fun.

    Next to best thing

by Sandra on 4/10/22Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Very cool experience, although I didn’t think she looked exactly like Whitney but I suppose quite good being a hologram. Music was great, dancers very energetic.
