I was already amazed by Eskmo's performace but when the hall dimmed and the ISAM with Amon's music playing I was taken into another dimension. The stage was incredible and music was breathtaking. I would definitely see this again.
Tobin's music is some kind of science-fiction post-techno. I strain for words to describe him because he fits in no category. IHe's not danceable in the traditional sense but full of rhythm, power, and in its own super-charged way, a jazzy sort of grace. The sound mix was amazingly clean, clear, and free of distortion. It was sometimes bone-rattlingly loud, but never painful. And the show: amazing. Design team blasthaus came up with a mind-warping stage set and projected light show that's like nothing you've ever seen.

By far the best multimedia performance ever staged! I feel that finally the promise of electronic music/performance has been realized to its fullest, completely integrated multi sensory experience. Amon's aesthetics are as intricate as his music, it is the zeitgeist of today.
This was one of the most innovative and stunning electronic music performances I have ever witnessed and I have been to some fantastic events in my day. If you ever get the chance to attend this event you will be simply amazed!

Amazing show! The base turned my legs to jelly, and the sound was outstanding. Visuals took the cake though. It was definitely a trip to remember. Not to mention it was smoking friendly inside, so I did appreciate that. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had some trouble seeing for a while because of tall people in front of me.
The music and the visuals were amazing. The show was a bit short though, and Amon interrupted his set 3 times to walk out on stage for applause.
The quick, don't miss this show!!! You will be hard pressed to find anything like what you will experience at ISAM live. Almost alien! The lighting and set design, in conjunction with the aural landscapes of Amon Tobin, will take you from the fiery depths to the outer heavens of the universe. You will take home with you a feeling of wonder and awe, and a feeling of jubilation for the future of sound and light combined. Thank you Amon Tobin and crew for putting together one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
This show is the most amazing I've ever seen, not in like 3-4 last years.... EVER!! I'll go there one more time - once is not enough!

I wanted to do it all over again right away. I adore that man's creativity. The stage set people & the visual projection crew & the animation team - all amazing. I bet this show will change how djs do shows!
I have never seen anything quite like this. The bass traveled through my body riveting my soul with the visual projections.
The Amon Tobin ISAM Tour is incredible. Witnessed the spectacle at The Warfield in S.F. Saturday night, October 1st, 2011 and I must say, Amon Tobin is definitely pushing the envelope when it comes to delivering an unforgettable audio/visual experience. A real class act electronic musician and artist. Glad I didn't miss this one. Definitely a show that must be experienced. ~Gus
