This event is a must-see for any fan of proper racing (where cars go left AND right). It's incredible to see these cars up-close, and consider how fortunate Texas is to have the WEC and ALMS series here.
The multi-day event is loaded with all sorts of interesting smaller races, with practice and qualifying for the two major races leading up to the main events. Pit lane times are available where spectators can get right up and close to the cars and the drivers.
The track itself offers an outstanding array of vantagepoints, making it a photographer's dream. We had terrific seats, but actually spent little to no time in them, as we were walking around most of the time!
Getting in and out of the track was a piece of cake, credit to the folks who designed the place for having a superior set of roads getting to and from the track.
I cannot wait for this race again next year!
