American Floyd: Pink Floyd Experience Tickets

The band was fine, and the physical venue is nice. However, being a pew ticket holder, I was "supposed to"get into a shorter priority line. When we asked about this policy (written on our ticket), the door staff sent us to the long hot line with General Admission tickeholders. After waiting in our car for the lo9ng line to shorten, we were told by yet another staff member that we COULD HAVE skipped the line. Ugh... we bought pew tickets to avoid the line and sit comfortably. There were many older people at this venue that were equally annoyed by the way things are handled at entry. The pew seats are really tight. Fitting 4 regular sized people in a pew makes for a very cramped seat. There are many choices for theaters and venues in the Myrtle Beadch area, and because of the entry and overall seating problems, we will likely not be back.

Good overall lead guitar, vocals and female vocals were very good. Great set list, however certain songs the sound and affects were a little off

I was disappointed in my overall experience with American Floyd. They seem to have sound issues and I couldn’t hear some of the guys playing at times. I think they’re a talented bunch but they just weren’t tight that night.

My view will be a little tainted as I seen the Brit Floyd not very long ago and they came very close to nailing the experience in my opinion. American Floyd can use some work in the vocals dept and I am not a fan of excessive chatter during a concert (especially when "you can't hear what they're saying"). That really turns me off. They had an issue (tech-sound) but came thru it and the fans had them. It was overall a good show - they are who they are and if they can finally solidify themselves and keep some members on longer than a couple years they may be able to put all the pieces together like Brit Floyd but I was glad to see & hear them and they took me back in time for a little while and showed me meddle (metal) and a dark side as well as the wall, and I had a momentary lapse of reason while I heard the division bell ringing in the background.. thanks AF; see ya' next time you're in town.

Loved the music & singing. But the tamborine guy that played sax-well him talking inbetween songs & during made the experience feel like a cheap bar band was playing. Just my thought on that.

Had a great time at House of blues, wonderful venue, American Floyd had the whole crowd rocking

House of Blues ROCKED Pink Floyd!! Always a good time at their venues...look forward to it every year visiting Myrtle Beach SC

American Floyd is a solid Pink Floyd tribute band. They put on a great show last Friday at the Ritz, playing all the favorites as well as a few deep tracks. The main guitarist (Hawk?) can really play. He nailed all the songs and difficult guitar parts. The supporting ladies were fantastic too! Nailed the "Great Gig..." solos. Overall had a fun time!
