Ambrosia on Tour
Ambrosia, an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1970, is back in action. Their 2022 tour, ambrosialive, is bringing together a long-running and loyal audience. The band boasts five Top 40 hit singles released between the years of 1975 and 1980. The singles include "Holdin' on to Yesterday," "You're the Only Woman (You & I)," "Biggest Part of Me," and "How Much I Feel." The 2022 tour includes all members of the original band -- bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, drummer/vocalist Burleigh Drummond and keyboardist/vocalist Christopher North -- plus guitarist/vocalist Doug Jackson (guitar and vocals), Ken Stacey (vocals) and Mary Harris (keyboards and vocals.) The band has been playing together for 25 years. Seeing Ambrosia live is a nostalgic and energizing experience. The tour will span the United States over the course of the year.
Ambrosia Live in Concert
Ambrosia was named after the band's desire to be eclectic in style, encompassing all shades, textures, colors, and styles. The band was originally formed as a quartet. Ambrosia soared to the top of the mainstream music charts despite being progressive in nature. Being from Southern California, the band was inspired by artists such as The Beach Boys and The Beatles. Ambrosia got their start in 1971 when a friend of the band who was running sound for the Hollywood Bowl invited the band to play onstage to test the sound system. Gordon Perry, the head engineer, invited them to attend performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The conductor chose to feature Ambrosia as part of the "All American Dream Concert." After landing a deal with 20th Century Fox Records, the band became an American legend. Today, the band still maintains a loyal and enthusiastic following. Ambrosia live in concert in 2022 certainly stands to be a reunion and celebration of epic proportions.

I’ve been an Ambrosia fan most of my life, but was never able to see them. We saw them at the Paramount theater in Anderson, Indiana, and didn’t want the concert to end. They played a great mix of songs. We see them again in a heartbeat. The venue is special. We also really enjoyed John Ford Coley and Peter Beckett. Yacht Rock rules!!!
Great concert! Paramount always does a great job and I love it that they are keeping the 70’s music alive! I love getting to see all of my favorite bands from the 70’s still!
The songs brought back great memories of my HS years.
They sounded great and it took me back to 1979. I would gladly see them again. Terrific musicians.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous! The band rocked all their old favorites and included John Ford Coley and Peter Beckett with their biggest hits! Crowd was really into it and can't wait for them to come around again maybe in an outdoor setting.
Seats were Cheap ( material ) . Price was OK ( $190 ) .... 2 row AAs
Ambrosia was great!! They put on an amazing show! We all had so much fun!!
They played all the songs that I wanted to hear. They’re mixing could’ve been a little bit better. It was sometimes hard to hear the voice over the music.
They could still sing and good musicians. The venue was good since any place you sat was a good seat. Glad ushers told people to sit and not stand up as people seated could not see the band. You got old guys sitting and could not stand for periods of time. Overall was a good concert to watch and enjoy.
They are great, it is the third time I have seen them and they continue to surprise me.
Overall, an excellent performance . People going to the front obstructed the view of the band
Have been a fan for a long time but have never seen them live. They were awesome and worth the ticket price. Would see them again.
The concert was billed as Al Stewart and Ambrosia. The reality was Al Stewart ( who we really went to see) sang threw songs backed up by Ambrosia and then left the stage for the night. Ambrosia was so loud that everything, music and vocals, were distorted . All in all a misleading billing and a really bad show!
I bought tickets for Al Stewart, but Ambrosia kicked him out after 3 songs…
Ambrosia was epic! One of my favorite groups in the 80’s. Joe P. and the band didn’t disappoint. We loved Al Stewart too. I would highly recommend to go see them while on tour. PJ
Great show, good sound and nice venue. Would definitely go see them again.
Ambrosia concert at Hard Rock. Ticketmaster makes entrance very easy!!
What a great concert. They are still sounding great! We had a great time. Thank you!
The concert opened with Al Stewart playing his hits. His backup was Ambrosia. The saxophone player was unbelievable. Lastly, Ambrosia had a few surprises besides doing their greatest hits. They did Magical Mystery Tour, It’s just the Way It Is, and Love is Alive. During the whole concert, pictures were projected on a screen of the band members and concert venues from the past.
