Rating: 4 out of 5by Ezri on 8/3/12Paradise Rock Club - Boston Club atmosphere was great and diverse, and Amadou & Mariam were lively and engaging without seeming to try 'too hard'. I'm not sure whether or not it was the sound system or the small size of the venue that was more to blame, but it was very hard to hear individual instruments at points/understand the lyrics. For the most part however, it was easy to just enjoy the show. The opening band (Debo Band) was a bit less 'together' although definitely not lacking in talent, and they were fun to watch - they just made the headliners seem more professional in comparison. All in all an awesome show.
