Show was spectacular. I have never been to live dance before and I loved it

Breathe taking: I had to remind myself several times to breathe. The dancers were flawless.

I HAVE BEEN A DANCER SINCE THE AGE OF NINE AND WHILE IN COLLEGE MY DANCE GROUP PERFORMED A RENDITION OF REVELATIONS, SO THIS HIT HOME FOR ME. IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES!!! I WAS IN DISBELIEF AND IN PURE AWW THAT I WAS REALLY REALLY WATCHING THE WORLD RENOWN ALVIN AILEY AMERICAN DANCE THEATER PERFORM! I HAVE ADMIRED THEM SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL AND COULD ONLY DREAM TO EVER DANCE WITH THIS ELITE GROUP OR BE HALF AS TALENTED. I HAVEN'T DANCED SINCE I WAS IN MY EARLY 30'S(NOW 38) AND THIS MADE ME REMEMBER THAT NOTHING ELSE MAKES ME FEEL LIKE THE POWER OF DANCE. AT MY AGE, IT IS HARD TO FIND DANCE STUDIOS THAT OFFER DANCE CLASSES FOR MY AGE GROUP. I ONLY WISH I COULD HAVE MET MRS. JUDITH JAMISON.

From start to finish, our "Alvin Ailey weekend" this year was just as wonderful as all the others that my daughter and I have experienced. We look forward to this group's performance at the Atlanta Fox in Feb. each year. The music and the dancers, for sure, puts us in the mood for celebrating our rich heritage, a fine cultural backgound. Three Black Kings is a movement of pride, particularly provoking thoughts of history, the advancement of our race and the beauty of the african male and all that was handed down to the african-american race. The show always leaves us with heads held high as we walk out into the streets of Atlanta and on to enjoy all that our Black history, including Mr. Alvin Ailey, has taught us to love and appreciate. This I will pass on to my grandchildren with hopes that they too will be inspired by the music and dance of Ailey.

The performance was amazing. However, I was very disappointed in the number of breaks. The show was scheduled to start at 3:00 pm. They actually started around 3:20 pm performed for about 15 minutes and then took a 15 minute intermission. I don't expect to have intermission after seeing 15 minutes of a show. I would understand if there was a short pause after the first piece to let in the late comers. The next piece after intermission was about 10-15 minutes and then a short pause. The next piece was about 15 minutes and then another 15-20 minute intermission. There was about 1 hour of dead time during the first 1.5 hours of the show.

Alvin Ailey was great as usual. Unfortunately, the Fox was so hot that it was hard to be comfortable.

The Alvin Aliey Dance Theatre reminds me of how proud, thankful and grateful I am of my African Heritage. God's majestic beauty is displayed in every dance step.

One word describes this dance company; INCREDIBLE. Enjoyed myself.

I enjoyed it. I would have preferred less intermissions.

Both the music and the dance were wonderful! Loved the video featuring Alvin Alley and others who explained the "Revelation" segment, which was fabulous!

I don't know what else I can say, the show was OUTSTANDING!!!! My wife I and love Alvin Ailey, and we have been to serveral shows. They always put on a Great Show.

This is by far the best dance theater I have ever seen. For a 28 year old man I would see this every year and take my daughters also.

Very moving and powerful i enjoyed it for the second time my little sister enjoyed it for her time as well. I will go back next year

This performance was amazing to experience. The ballet was more than I expected with beautiful performers and choreography. Each section of the performances were different and kept me guessing about what was next. I took my 2 kids ages 5 and 8 to the event and they loved it. They were excited and entertained by the dances. This was my second time at the Ailey performance and I will try to catch them each time they visit Atlanta. This time was even better than the last one I witnessed.

The performance was simply marvelous! I had not seen the company perform in more than 15 years when I could only afford the cheapest seats available!! Still, it was amazing then and even more amazing this time around (and not just because I can now afford good seats!!!!). My husband had not seen them since he was a little boy and probably forced to go along with his mother. He too REALLY enjoyed the performances. And, I believe I even caught a glimpse of him wiping away tears during "Revelation". Words cannot express how spellbinding and moving the show was for us! Thanks Mr. Ailey for the wonderful legacy you have given us!!!

The dancers were amazing, as always. I really enjoyed the show.

It was my first time every seeing the Alvin Ailey dancers perform an myy breath was completely taken away. I would definitely want to catch another show the next time they are in town!

Wonderful! My companion loved it. I have made recommendation to other friends.

A few of the dancers were not very fit. The precision of the performance left alot to be desired. I was really disappoined with the performance.

I have seen Alivin production years ago and it was just awesome...Beautiful dancing and beautiful costumes. The show on Sunday needed work and more practice. The dancing I could have done. The costumes were bland no color...the only I enjoyed it is when they refer to their old shows which I have seen...was not too happy
