Television personality, author, Food Network and Netflix star Alton Brown will be heading out on his Alton Brown Live: Beyond The Eats - The Holiday Variant tour this holiday season. He is the host of Top 10 new Netflix Iron Chef reboot "Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend." Brown says fans can expect "more cooking, more comedy, more music, and more potentially dangerous science stuff with a sprinkle of seasonal spices. Plus, you'll see things I've never been allowed to do on TV." Critics and fans have raved about the interactive components of Brown's shows. He warns, "Prepare for an evening unlike any other and if I call for volunteers...think twice."
Alton and his gang was great!! Singing, hilarious story telling and of course, cooking!!!!
We had a great time! Alton is so funny and quick witted. I loved the 3 very different acts involving the audience. I would definitely go to more of his shows!
Who would have thought a stage show on “food” and life experiences would be so entertaining!! Alton Brown is, as I already believed, so very talented and entertaining in his delivery. If you can attend his live show….do it! Fun for all…not just foodies. Bon appetite!!
Alton Brown is part scientist, part entertainer, part chef, part author, part comedian and part musician. He was interactive with the audience and so funny and entertaining. There is little this man cannot do. I will go see him every chance I get.
I love Alton Brown, always a great show. Despise that I to go through Ticketmaster to see him.
Alton was exactly who he presents himself on 'Good Eats'. He was really funny and a great storyteller! It was cool to see him play guitar and sing. My only criticism would be that during the 2nd segment of the show - with the over-sized air cooker, Mrs. Brown as the automated voice of the timer for the cooker, would talk over Alton during some fairly important parts of stories he would be telling - which we found a tad irritating and made her look a bit 'rude'. The Audience was a cool one too - which makes sense given the nature of the program. I'd give it a solid 4+-star rating. The more I know about this guy, the more I appreciate him!
Alton is very knowledgeable about food and cooking and is also quite an entertaining comedian as well as a guitar player. The VIP Q&A was great as was the show itself
Loved the comedy and stories. Would love to see more cooking. Unfortunately the participants selected from the audience were too chatty and annoying. Attention seeking and obnoxious women trying to be funny and instead it took away from Alton's humor since they often tried to talk over him.
I love Alton Brown’s humor and discussions of science in his cooking on tv. Without knowing what his theater show would involve, I assumed that it would be similar to his TV show. Unfortunately I was wrong. There were glimmers of science in the show, but it wasn’t the main focus. The show was definitely entertaining, but I wasn’t “roll on the floor” laughing like I thought I’d be. I will definitely go and see another one of his shows, though, as I did enjoy myself.
Alton was amazing. Funny, engaging and over all a stellar entertainer. We are new to the area but this makes our 5th event for the year at the PAC but box 405-407 we’re TERRIBLE seats. Im not sure why I got the box on the fourth tier but that will never happen again. The sound was terrible, you couldn’t see the screen or the stage the whole time. The ticket prices did not reflect the poor quality of the experience. There was no disclaimer to say the whole stage would not be visible or that the sound would be poor quality.
Alton and his crew were great! First time we saw him live and would love to see him again!!!
Alton Brown is funny, a talented musician and the show smelled amazing.
Very entertaining and fun. Good view of whole stage and everything happening on stage!!
Was unsure what I was going to see. It was a slow beginning wondering what was going to happen. After a short period of time I realized that the show was more comical show than a cooking show. Accepted it and laughed the rest of the night. Alton reacted with the audience and the audience reacted well with him.
It was almost like watching an updated version of Good Eats…educational and entertaining. I’ve been a big fan of his for years and would likely see him again. Only part that was unnecessary/odd/uninteresting was when he sang two songs. They were poorly written and I would’ve rather learned more about a different food or had watched him prepare something and educate like in Good Eats
I have watched Good Eats for years on Food Network. I didn’t really know what to expect seeing him live but it turned out to be a very entertaining show, I would highly recommend!
We've always have been a fan of Alton Brown. And to see him live on stage is definitely an experience.
If you enjoyed him on tv, you will enjoy his unique live show.
So much fun! Love Alton Brown and I was sooo happy to get to see him live! 1000000% recommend!
Alton was very entertaining. I didn't know he played electric guitar and sang - a bonus for the audience. The songs and stories were a recipe for a good show. Everyone left with a full stomach.
