  • Loved the tournament

by NCGal on 3/11/24Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

I felt that the entertainment during the quarters and half time were lacking….it was a tad bit boring except for the championship game on Sunday. You also need a t-shirt gun to shoot t-shirts also they were thrown in the same area each time!! There are a lot of kids that would love them.

  • Did not take care of the crowd

by Ralph on 3/11/24Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

This year's tournament was lacking the excitement that is usually felt the minute you walk in. Very few activities for the spectators. Maybe 2 half time activities through the whole tournament. They always throw shirts, balls and wrists bands to the crowd. Mascot night was lacking. It will be interesting to see if the men's tournament will have more going on for the spectators. The games were awesome lot of good exciting games. Women basketball is great. Where was Jay Du?

  • Disappointed

by UNCGuy on 3/11/24Rating: 2 out of 5

First off let me say I enjoyed all the games and how well the teams played at the coliseum. I’m so happy when the tournaments are held in Greensboro. The hospitality is beyond amazing! Outside of the games and a few halftime performances there was not much interesting or exciting about the tournament this year. There was no ACC boot flying around dropping gift cards. The MC who bought so much excitement to the tournament was not there this year. There were fans I talked with fans that noticed his absence. The energy was dry with the person that occasionally met with fans. There was no DJ this year. There was no tee shirts toss with the power machine. It was just a few occasional hand toss of shirts. The prices of the tickets went up quite a bit with no incentives to buy packages like previous years. I hope the women tournament remains in Greensboro and the powers that be bring back the excitement that makes the ACC exciting for fans.

  • Just eh.

by Duke fan on 3/10/24Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

Overall a good tournament experience mostly due to great fan support. The emcee was very weak. The prizes/contests were poor. (Bojangles box or card was stupid) T shirt toss disappointing. (No t shirt gun and only once per game with maybe 10 shirts! Come on!) No shoe blimp No meatless meal options at concessions. Seems like last year we had cheese pizza and a meatless salad option. I did love having the students in attendance on Friday. They always add to the fun. Parking staff was very helpful as were the stadium staff. Very pleasant! Greensboro does a great job hosting.

  • Awesome experience!!! Great price!!

  • Day Out With Family

by aly on 3/8/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 4 out of 5

Was a nice time . Just wish people would watch how they act in public. Very nice Colosseum Worker was trying to let people know where the general admission was . A couple with a small child was upset about something and was being so disrespectful to this person. Makes me sad that we live in a society where people cannot control emotions. Didn’t seem as Energetic as before . That maybe do to Covid . Popcorn was good . Think this is our 12 or 13 year coming to the game.

  • Fantastic experience!

by TomW on 3/8/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was clean, easy to get around in and filled with concessions, memorabilia and facilities. The Championship game was exciting and we were especially happy since our team won! Now I wish I had attended the entire event. Highly recommend!

  • good tourney

by CarolinaRN on 3/7/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 4 out of 5

Been to a few womens' ACC Tourney games, and it's a good way to spend the afternoon when the teams are playing well. I wish both the men and womens' tourneys would just stay in Greensboro each year, in the heart of Tobacco Road. Would be nice if fans in the upper levels could have better chances of catching t-shirts and balls during the time outs. There were multiple "throwing sessions" during the 2 games on Saturday, and I noticed maybe only 3 or 4 times that the items were even attempted to be thrown up top. Need to find a way for the folks in the upper level to be able to share in the fun.

  • Great time!

The games and venue were great! Receiving more t-shirts and prizes is always a good thing.

  • Excellent Experiences Yearly

by Wilk on 3/6/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

What a great day Saturday! Usually my work schedule allows me to attend 2 or 3 days, but that changed this year, and I could only attend Saturday. I can never attend Sunday's championship because of church. I always record it and forbid anyone to tell me the score while I stay off social media until I get to watch it. Having it at 1:00 this year was better, but if it was at 2:00 or later, I could & would make it to G'boro from Raleigh. However, everyone was wonderful from parking to ticket staff to having enough folks around to ask questions. Even though our team (NC State) wasn't playing, my 84 year old mother, niece and I had a super time. Actually, it was more relaxing watching it without a "dog in the fight". We picked a team to pull for and just enjoyed those talented athletic women perform. The DJ's antics were fun; the bands always add a lot, and the half time show was good.. Not sure what was up with the floor while I was buying snacks, but I was able to get back to the game without missing anything. Speaking of food, adding the emapnada restaurant was a great idea! I don't love ballgame food typically and always look for something different. We don't drink alcohol, so that was not a factor although there was plenty available and priced high enough, no one was going to get out-of-control from it. At any venue, the food is always priced too high, but we try to budget for it. It is such a luxury that we have enjoyed for many years. If the Fan Fest could stay open longer, even after the games, that would give us more flexibility since we travel in from Raleigh. Thanks for hosting. Hoping to be able to return next year for more than one day.

  • Electronic tickets, not a fan

Took me going to ticket office to figure out how to download both tickets. A bit complicated for me

  • ACC Tournament

by BIGB on 3/6/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 4 out of 5

My wife, daughter and I returned to the ACC Women's Basketball Tournament after 4 years and had a fun time. We were disappointed to find out the times for Fun Fest were not posted so we did miss a portion of them on Friday and Saturday ended at game time so we were only there a portion of the time before tip off. Anyway, all of the volunteers were great and very helpful. As for the games, both of the games were entertaining. However, different tickets for the Friday 11 AM and 2 PM did not work. This needs to be rethought in the future. The crowd from the first game didn't leave in a timely fashion causing those who had tickets to only the second session to wait very long. My only hope is the ACC gets better referees to do the games which is why this is a 4 star instead of a 5 star. It really put a "downer" on the whole experience.

  • Not great, not terrible

by Basketball Fan on 3/5/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 3 out of 5

Attended two tournament games, one on Thursday and one on Friday. The games were fun but the coliseum isn’t an impressive venue. Parking attendants had trouble operating their mobile payment devices which led to slower lines and more traffic entering the parking lots. The food was ok but definitely overpriced. The bathrooms are falling apart - several toilets and sinks don’t work. Just not what is used to be.

  • Great overall.

by Darlene on 3/5/23Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroRating: 4 out of 5

It was really fun and even though we were in the General Admission part, we had great seats. My only complaint was that I purchased the tickets that included either a hotdog and drink or $5.00 at the concession stand and I didn’t get that when I got my tickets at the window.
