The Allstate Sugar Bowl has established itself as one of the premier college football bowl games, having hosted 28 national champions, 103 Hall of Fame players, 52 Hall of Fame coaches and 21 Heisman Trophy winners in its 89-year history. The 90th Allstate Sugar Bowl Football Classic, which will double as a College Football Playoff Semifinal, is scheduled to be played on January 1, 2024. Sugar Bowl 2022

by Allyn on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

New Orleans is a great place to attend a football game. The environment is great. The food wonderful. And the drinks unique and refreshing. The Mercedes Superdome is a great place to attend a game. Security was efficient and professional. The stadium loud and pre-game fireworks entertaining. Overall, a great experience.

by ynolan on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

Plenty of emails and notifications leading up to the event to make sure we were prepared. Tickets and Parking pass downloaded with ease. Kept us well informed on the day of event as well....great source to use for events.

    No accommodations for wheelchair

by Rebel Fan on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

Let me clarify…the accommodations before and during the game was spot on. However, once the game was over, we were sent to ground level via elevator as only option. This made it extremely difficult to return to our car due to having to push a wheelchair up three floors. Very disappointed!

    What a disappointment!

by Woody on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

So looking forward to going to the Sugar Bowl. The Tailgate Town area was vibrant and cool, but the music was to loud to carry on a conversation. And everything was so outrageously priced, even for an event of this size. $12 for one can of beer?? $15 for a double pour bourbon, that was actually more coke than booze. Inside, the superdome, the seats are configured to the space, so some are superwide and comfortable, while others are like a jump seat on an airplane. Bigger people were uncomfortable and in pain trying to wedge into seats much smaller than the middle seats on an airline. Again, food in the dome was exorbitant, even for a big venue... $6 for a .15 cent bag of popcorn, cooked weeks ago. A whole pizza, normally about a $8 or less depending if you were not on the sacred ground of the superdome, was $29. Should be some requirement to list seat widths prior to purchasing, the seat I paid for should not have cost as much as the seat above me, since it was 4-5 inches wider.

Sugar Bowl Was A Defensive Struggle

by Mosschop on 1/4/22Caesars Superdome - New Orleans

The Sugar Bowl experience was above average. The game was actually boring because it was a defensive struggle by both teams but the event was great. It was nearly a sellout in the Cesar's Superdome, I liked how Champions Square had a band, and I especially liked how they checked for COVID-19 vaccinations or 72-hour negative tests before entering the Cesar's Superdome.

    Sugar Bowl

by GA fan on 1/4/20Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

Enjoyed the game and the Superdome is something to see! A bit discouraging to purchase tickets weeks in advance at full price to find they could have been bought days before the game at a fraction of the original amount paid.

    Disappointing

by Steve on 1/4/20Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

The worst stadium I have ever been in! Every announcement had an echo, an echo! The worst sound system EVER! The steps to our seats were 10 inches high. A person had to use the handrails to get up or down, dangerous, especially for older people, like myself! The stadium was half empty. If you sold tickets at a more reasonable price maybe these games would sell out, Ya Think!

    Great Atmosphere, Zero Legroom

by Too Tall on 1/4/20Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

The overall Sugar Bowl experience was awesome! My daughter was recently accepted to Baylor so we made the 8 hour drive from Florida to see them play. Unfortunately, even though we had great seats (game view wise), I’m tall and the seats had zero leg room! Thank god we were row 28 and no one was behind us so I could stand up. I stood roughly 95% of the game because the only place for my legs when I sat were into my daughter’s space and the person’s to my other side. I don’t think I’ll visit the Superdome again because of this.

    Old tired stadium

    by C. K. on 1/4/20Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

We were on the lower level, end zone. The deck above blocked our view for all kicks and punts. Poor sound system. No jumbo trim that we could see. Would have thought there would have been at least a “give away” towel or something at the seat.

Great venue and super friendly staff

by BgdaddyK on 1/4/20Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

The parking was awesome. Garage 2 put is right next to the stadium. The Fan Experience and activities were lots of fun. The stadium had great food choices and the drink prices are far better than other professional/collegiate events we’ve been too this year. The credit card machines stopped working slightly before halftime so we didn’t buy the food and drinks we wanted as we didn’t want use all our cash. Our seats were kind of disappointing. The section was 137 and had a huge over hang that limited view of the replay screens and were not tiered so that you could easily see over the people in front of you. If the folks 8 rows in front of you stood up you couldn’t see the field. Also the stadium speakers under the overhang were so loud you couldn’t hear well as the echo made it difficult. The game was good not the outcome we wanted but oh well. I would definitely come back to this event and this venue but I would pick different seating.

    2019 Sugar Bowl/Hook 'em!

by KKay on 1/9/19Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

Prior to the game: Champions Square was fun....Good music from the live band, plenty of places to buy beer/alcohol. Need more food stations...the lines were long! Inside the stadium: it was clean, no long lines for the bathroom, plenty of people selling beer, concession stand lines not too long.

    Amazing Experience

    by R. M. on 1/4/19Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

New Orleans: the people, the music, the food, the culture - - UNIQUELY BEAUTIFUL! The Game: the fan fest, the fan jam, the parade, halftime, UT, UGA - -AWESOME! The Superdome: good service, restrooms ok, overall nice facility, my only complaint - super small seats that were tightly spaced (worse than flying coach), no arm rests or place for drinks that are sold without ice, lids or straws, when you’re in a space for 5 hours, comfort is important - - VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

    Great experience

by Andy Haney on 1/4/19Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

It was our first experience of college football being British, we don't have that sort of thing in the UK. From the parades the day before to the marching bands to the players and the game, its something that you have to be part of to understand and get in to the whole experience. We really enjoyed it!

    We’re baaaaaaaaaaaaaack

    by K. M. on 1/4/19Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

Great atmosphere, most seats are pretty good and the price is worth it to be in the stadium. Sat in the nosebleeds, but still had a great view and felt a part of everything. Eating in the stadium is not too bad, as you can get Cajun options that are different from your everyday hot dog.

Ticketmaster mobile entry is a PAIN

by Alabama6722 on 1/5/18Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans

The venue was great, the game was awesome! ROLL TIDE! However, once we arrived and pulled up our tickets on my mobile phone, i had issues getting the bar code to show. The Icon was displaying the game as Jan 1, 2018 but as a "PAST EVENT". Somehow, December 31 was a date also listed and since it was a "past event" it would not load our bar coded tickets. We had to go to the mobile ticket resolution center halfway around the stadium where we tried to enter (in 20 mph winds and 20 degree temps!). We stood in line 15 minutes waiting for others to have their issues resolved. When we purchased the tickets through Ticketmaster we were notified that this was a "MOBILE ENTRY ONLY EVENT". I also had purchased tickets (at the same time) for my two friends who attended but they received their tickets in the mail. Several people were having trouble getting their bar coded tickets to display due to the slow internet connection around the stadium. IF you can get a printed ticket - DO IT - Do NOT get the MOBILE ENTRY TICKETS!

Sugar Bowl lived up to hype!

We loved the venue! Clean & easy access. Game was awesome!
