  • Allman Family Revival

My first live concert since being diagnosed with a horrible disease, was a little concerned about the loudness and the lights, and it turned out to be just what the Doctor ordered. Brought me back to the era I grew up in and it was so well done. Thanks, guys!

    by Hotlegs46 on 2/25/22The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Great music, inviting musicians..Greg Allmans son looks remarkably like him, voice is more polished. Loved the guitar playing, Duane Betts and family have certainly kept the music of the Allman Brothers alive.. anyone would have a good time, and wonderful memories of music gone by..

Live shows are the best opportunity for a fan to experience the depth and emotion of a bands or individuals talent. The Allman Brothers Revival, lived up to or even surpassed the ability to reach the soul of its audience!! 100% memorable!

  • Incredible Show

by Mcmeghan on 2/25/22The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Close your eyes and it sounds just like The Allman brothers. Open your eyes and it looks like them. The kids do a great tribute to their fathers. They’re incredible musicians and performers. I’m still watching the videos on my phone from the show and am telling anybody who will listen about them!

  • What a show!

by Filer on 2/25/22The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Tremendous musicians. Got to hear songs I haven't heard since the last show at the Beacon theater Would have liked it to start before 830 and a bit of heat in the Wiltern. Roy Orbisons daughter was a treat to see and hear. Robert Randolph stole the show.

Great concert. One of the best that I’ve been to and I I’ve been to many. They took us back to the Allman Brothers music and the Allman Betts recent. The song from Wet Willy was great. This band made a believer out of me and they are only getting better.

Closest show to hear Allman Bros music. Excellent Blue Sky, Trouble no more, Statesboro Blues and no one left to run with… Great special guests; Taz, Randolf and Jimmy Hall. Great venue too.

  • Beautiful return to the Fillmore

by ImJai on 2/23/22The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

The Allman Family Revival was my first post-lockdown show at a standing-room venue, and the band really delivered. I'd seen them at the Fillmore in December 2019, and this was the same powerful experience. The core band is solid, and then there's all the tributary talent -- ALL of it. Luther Dickinson, Frank Hannon, Jimmy Hall, and Marc Rich -- whoo!! I should also mention that Orion Gregory Allman, Gregg's grandson, joined on keyboards on some of the numbers...it is beautiful that the Allman and Betts families value their musical legacies. And the stupendous Frank Hannon, for those who don't know, married one of Dickie Betts' daughters, so he's tied to this dynasty -- and joins in when not playing with Tesla. I have seen so many acts at the Fillmore, and driving past the venue during the lockdown was both saddening and a reason to keep on keepin' on during the really hard days. The venue is so steeped in rock 'n' roll history that going back was uniquely special. The night of the show I had just gotten in and ordered my first drink at the bar when the band started, and it was so stirring to be standing there hearing that music. The bartender was digging the sound, and everyone was excited, and it was all I could do to not burst into tears right there. Even coat check was emotional! The Fillmore, without question, also has its act together in terms of vaccination enforcement and testing. They required booster documentation, or proof of a just-taken negative test. They also offered while-you-wait testing, right by the line outside. Inside, some wore masks and some didn't (I mostly kept mine on). The staff did enforce a policy of no standing around the bar galley unless one was ordering drinks, and this seemed like a thoughtful precaution. One last point on the band: they mentioned coming back for two dates in December, and I plan to be at both with bells on.

  • Classically EPIC!

by HehZeus on 2/23/22The Fillmore - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Allman Family Revival by the Allman-Betts Band and a bunch of very special guests was epic! Awesome music that has stood the test of time, performed in a special way that absolutely defines what makes live performances special. WOW!!! "This is what we came for!" was a phrase we kept repeating all night long, song after song!
