  • Great concert with some organizational challenges

by CM on 10/5/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

The artists did a great job and the show was phenomenal. I usually love Merriweather Pavilion but the lack of a designated ride-share pick up/drop off spot was rough and the number of people at the venue on the second day was straight up unsafe.

  • No one made me pay $800 for my ticket

by Broke on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

My kids invited me to join them at All Things Go...after it was sold out. For months I watched for a ticket on the secondary market but in the end I paid a ridiculous amount to join my kids. This was before Chappell Roan pulled out to take care of herself. A good idea. I moaned and groaned about all that extra $ going to scalpers and not to the artists only to find out this doesn't happen in some other countries. Tickets cannot be sold for more than face value. Wow. Imagine that. Fans who could not get into Taylor or Adele or ATG etc originally could possibly get a ticket later and not feel the distaste I felt lining someone's pocket who bought the ticket solely with the intention of selling it for a profit. Not good karma. And a sorry example of capitalism run amuck.

  • Line up’s were chefs kiss 💋

by Ashley on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

The artists were phenomenal, had the best time!! Brought my own snacks which was the move because $24 for chicken tenders is criminal, and the lines were outrageously long. An umbrella is a must, the sun was killer day 1 and it was rainy day 2. Also highly recommend bringing some games. Giant Uno was a life saver in between sets. Arrived at doors open to secure a good spot on the lawn (thankfully) because Day 2 the lawn filled up immediately. Day 1 the crowds were a lot more chill and kind. Day 2 vibes were ruthless. No space for walking on the lawn and it was so muddy. Rip to all the white shoes. All around a nice festival experience. But fix your sound system Merriweather Pavilion!!! A few artists had their sets shortened and delayed bc of mic issues.

  • Poor Planning but Great Music!

by Sarah on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

First off, great line up!!! Never a performance that was bad!! Even though I stayed at the main stage, the broadcasting of what was going on at the other stage was great!! It could have been a little louder, but from what I did hear, great!! The only thing I would criticize was the planning and communication of the event. There was not clear signage of which line to get it and both had signs for VIP…. Nothing was sent in the email or in the ticket details of which gate to line up at for GA. The other thing was the bathrooms running out of toilet paper. You know if Chappell would’ve performed it would have run out of toilet paper a lot sooner than 6pm!!

  • Way too crowded and overpriced

by Nemo on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 2 out of 5

Cannot see the artists at the main stage they are like pixels on a screen. Chrysalis stage was better. Food and drinks so expensive. Could have been better managed

  • Greatest festival experience!

by kierrawillis on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second year attending all things go, and it was great! Having attended lollapalooza and that being a MESS in August, this one was a relief. It seemed a little unorganized at times, but thankfully, there were many more restrooms this year, and plenty of merch. The smaller stage definitely had better viewing options with multiple screens, but the sound from the main stage could be easily heard. Parking was VERY helpful and accessible. Again, much better than any other festival I have been to. The lineup is always awesome, and I will be back again next year!

  • Great as always but crowded

by Morgan on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

ATG was amazing (as it always is) but I feel like they might have oversold GA lawn tickets this year. It was absolutely slammed, and there were a lot of people sitting behind walls/out of the view of the stages and screens. There were also occasional mic/audio issues. I love this festival and am planning to go every year if I can, but I would really recommend taking a look at the number of available lawn tickets.

  • Great acts overall

by All Things Considered.... on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time at DC ATG, considering one of the headliners backed out the day before NY and 2 days before DC Shows-stand in was well received tho. Wish they didn't overlap headliners so people had to choose which to see in person and which to watch on jumbo tron. Some very talented artists only had a 30 minute set which was a total disservice to them.

  • great lineup but oversold

by sarah on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

i had lawn tickets and was having a great time until around muna's set on sunday - the lawn got so densely crowded my partner and i had to fight our way down the hill to get some air off to the concession stands. the fact that the walkway between the upper and lower lawn areas was full of people standing was super hazardous - there were five/six rows deep of people squished together on the one paved walking area. we enjoyed the artists overall but next year would definitely want more crowd control or marked areas where people could not sit/stand on the lawn so there's room to move.

  • Amazing despite some hiccups

by Lara on 10/2/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

While it was unfortunate that Chappell Roan canceled, As You Are tried to make the best of it and I think it worked. Great replacements, especially on such short notice. Kind and helpful staff. Wonderful experience all in all

  • Incredible Lineup, Too many technical issues

by maisie peters #1 fan on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

I went to more than half of the sets and at least 4 times they had technical difficulties and had to either cut the set short or deal with bad audio quality.

  • Best festival experience I’ve had!

by Austin on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to festivals many times but this really stood out to me as the best festival I’ve been to. The lineup was terrific—I got to see a lot of my favorite artists and discovered some new music I loved as well. I thought the venue was very comfortable and appreciated that there were many places to sit down. Water, food, and bathrooms were very accessible. I appreciated that the venue was very accommodating by allowing attendees to bring blankets to lay on the ground, outside food, etc. I could also see really well during most sets (something I have almost never experienced as a short person who is an avid concert-goer, haha). The crowd had great vibes, people were very kind and helping each other, and I didn’t have any experiences with anyone being rude or harmful. Even during the more crowded sets, I never felt unsafe. I only had a few minor complaints: one being that there were technical issues at several sets I attended. The other is maybe something that can’t be controlled, but that the hill at the main pavilion got super muddy and slippery on Sunday. Fortunately people were being cautious and helping each other, but I heard that a lot of people were slipping and falling. I’m not sure if it would be possible to lay down mulch or something to prevent sliding? However, these grievances are so small that it did not take much away from my experience. Over all, I thought this was an amazing festival and would definitely come back next year. It was a truly magical weekend that I will always remember fondly!

  • Over priced and poorly managed

by Firstimer on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 2 out of 5

VIP seats not worth the price and not marked well which created alot of confusion for the fans and work for the staff Not enough water bottle filling stations Why was there no parking built with this venue???

  • my 4th year in a row ! Best Festival these days !

by Steve C on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

Had a fantastic time this year as well as the last 3 years. Will be back again next year !

  • Bands amazing, organizers not

by Alex on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

The production quality of every artist was amazing-- they all sounded exactly like their recorded albums. Each artist put on a fantastic show and I found new bands to love as a result (Medium Build!) A+ for the lineup. However, the organizers have room for improvement next year. The venue may not be fit for purpose anymore as the fire marshal started turning people away from the pavilion who had paid the premium to be there. It was yet another year of rain, and the venue is not equipped for the amount of people that attend + the amount of mud that builds up from the impact of this. I would suggest ATG consider another, larger venue or organize a second weekend.

  • Don’t sell tickets that don’t exist.

by My Life is Complete on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 1 out of 5

The lineup was great but the organizers really failed in overselling General Admission Pavillion/Lawn Seats. We couldn’t get anywhere near the Pavillion on either day of the festival because it was full. False advertising to sell any tickets that don’t actually exist and those of us that paid more couldn’t even see the show. It was too many people, too much back and forth and overpriced.

  • needs more coffee.

by autumn on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

had a great time, tickets were definitely oversold. there straight up NEEDS to be an option to just get a black coffee without waiting in line for four hours. could be the most watery, diner coffee possible i don't care. need a caffeine option that isnt literally swimming in sugar since you wont let us bring our own in. also more little drink options for people who dont want alcohol. could get a frozen margarita but not a slushie? really drawing in a young crowd so maybe something for the under 21s and us old heads who just want to make it to 10 pm. backpack policy was whack and constant drones flying overhead made me feel like i was in a surveillance state but even undercaffeinated i still had the time of my life. love that you programmed the chrysalis stage like it mattered and wasnt a second tier stage. less sound problems than last year but yall really got to get a handle on that, its not fair to the artists. the schedule was perfectly crafted and anyone saying otherwise just doesnt know how to prioritize. good vibes all around 8/10 would go again.

  • A Great Time

by MJ on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first musical festival and I couldn’t ask for it to go any better! The venue was very easy to navigate, and I had a great view from the lawn! It was nice to bring my own snacks, and there were a lot of water bottle filling stations. I was worried about being out for 12 hrs but it flew by and the performances were amazing! Can’t wait to go next year :)

  • Amazing Two Days

  • atg! :3

by eli on 10/1/24Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

overall atg dc was pretty good, towards the end of the night on sunday food was running out and so was most sodas and water, there was way too many people, and although the mud wasn't all things gos fault it was pretty slippery and dirty! lots of people left caked in mud. the performers were great and the food (when it was still available) was okay. the prices are steep but what else would u expect from a festival. overall it was pretty good, the staff was kind and so were other patrons!
