  • We all enjoyed!!

by Concertsforlife on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

We took our teens to the show and enjoyed it just as much as they did! It was a perfect day! Thanks for providing such a fun lineup of music, water refill stations and a great selection of food choices! Can't wait til next year!!

  • Need to Adapt

by Bella on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

If this festival continues to grow (it 100% will), then more planning needs to go into it. For example, there needs to be more than one watering station for that many people in attendance. Second, security were not checking tickets in depth to get into Pavilion. I bought pavilion access and couldn’t find anywhere to sit or stand because people who did not have access to this area manage to get in by showing screenshots of tickets that were not theirs. The pit needs to be flushed out after every set. Every functional musical festival I’ve gone to does this as a way to keep it equitable. People were camping out at the pit from the moment doors opened and it was never not at capacity. The lineup needs to be balanced out better between the two days. Day 2 was significantly more packed than day 1. There needs to be a capacity of people at this location. Tickets were definitely oversold for day 2. Overall I enjoy attending this festival and have for the past two years, but it is imperative that more planning and logistics go into having this many people and a growing/popular lineup every year.

  • Not bad - just crowded

by AL on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

an incredible lineup, some truly great performances, and twice as many attendees as it seemed like there were room for.

  • No General Admission Seats

    by MF5263 on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

The idea of having general admission seats sounds good in theory, but you end up with people who paid for pavilion seats but unable to get one because people were reserving swaths of chairs for their friends, or sharing tickets to get their friends into the pavilion. Would not recommend this set up again.

  • Amazing and safe experience

by Juan on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

I went with my two daughters, 15 and 11. Everything was great. The public was friendly and enthusiastic, the organization run smooth. It was a joyful, inclusive an safe environment!

  • Day One: Amazing, Day Two: Terrifying

by elder boygenius fan on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 3 out of 5

First things first: the lineup this year was incredible. The organizers absolutely crushed it. Day 1 was an awesome experience. I had pavilion/lawn tickets with a group of two other attendees and we were able to find incredible seats no problem. Everyone was very casual and just enjoyed the vibes. No one held seats between acts and we just wandered around and always found new seats without issues. We even got to be in the pit for the headliner. Day 2 was a completely different beast. I don’t know if it was oversold or poorly managed, but the pit was closed within minutes of the gates being opened and by the time Ethel Cain was on pavilion stage people had parked themselves in seats and were not moving or had put their belongings on seats to reserve them for later. I saw at least one fight break out when someone tried to sit in a “reserved” seat. I was not certain we would find a place to sit at all. It appeared that security was letting anyone with a screenshot of pavilion seats enter the area so that may have been part of the issue. On top of that, the younger Boygenius fans (and Lana fans, to a lesser degree) were out of control. I could not even hear the artists over the screaming and crying, and when their artist wasn’t on stage I couldn’t hear the other acts because they wanted to chat to each other the whole time. I don’t know where this new lack of concert etiquette came from nor do I know how to fix it. I just hope that the artists that attract this type of behavior find a way to refrain from encouraging it because, as Phoebe said during their set, it was “nightmarish”. TL;DR: boygenius superfans are terrifying but that’s not All Things Go’s fault. If they’re gonna continue to book acts of this caliber with this type of fan base they need to have more control over seating and security.

  • Great Music Lacking Food

by Bea on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

I had an amazing time this weekend at All Things Go, but there were some issues. I think there were quite a lot of people compared to space. They ran completely out of vegetarian and vegan food at the food trucks on Saturday. Me and my friend left early because I can't handle a lot of fried food and that was basically all they had left. I think the food was the main issue, need many more trucks/stands. I have been to a bunch of other festivals that have so much food you couldn't possibly try everything. However, here I waited an hour in line for an iced coffee. The music/lineup was amazing, but need more veggie food. I did both GA and VIP different days. A lot of non VIP people were in the VIP section. I personally did not face any issues and I do not have a problem with them opening it up, but I watched a lot VIP people come back to their reserved seat and someone was sitting in it. Some were quite angry and I feared a fight would break out. That being said I would still go back 100%

  • All things gay

    by Malonc3 on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

Great festival with so many queer artists and very woman focused. Had a great time and can’t wait to see what they do next year!

  • An Amazing Experience

by Sav on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

This was one of the first music festivals I've ever been to and it has set the bar high for those to come. There were plenty of activities, games, swag, and other things to do to keep you entertained. The performers were amazing and it was fun to run from stage to stage. The crowd became a little overwhelming when the headliners performed, it did seem like they sold too many tickets because there was not enough room for everyone. They had plenty of places to buy food and drinks, but the water refill stations were not the best. There were only 2 or 3 fountains that were accessible and at one point I waited an hour to fill my water from a very slow and finicky fountain. Besides the overcrowding and accessibility to water, the festival was absolutely amazing and had one of the best lineups I've ever seen.

by Haleigh on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

Nothing will ever compare to the lineup… it lived up to every expectation!!!

  • Great time

by Jenni on 10/4/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time but the venue seemed oversold and understaffed. There wasn’t enough space on the lawn for all the people there.

  • Amazing Line Up & Vibes

by DocBrooke on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

This is one of the best festivals out there. Especially if you want to support more femme artists in music, you gotta check out this scene. Great line up, well run festival as far as acts/performing, plenty of food options but a bit pricey. The bathroom situation is a nightmare for women though - be prepared for exceedingly long lines!

  • Fine

by Tone on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 2 out of 5

I recognize it was a sold out event, but the level of crowds, how disgusting the bathrooms were, and limited amount of water refill stations were ridiculous. My friends and I gladly left early. Music quality was fine, and I’m glad they played the opposite stage on the screen between sets. Beer lines were never terribly long.

  • Life’s so fun

by Luke H on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

Had a truly transformative experience at all things go. Saw incredible performances, loved the diversity in the lineup, and the festival policies were great. One of the best festivals I’ve been to in 10 years and looking forward to more from ATG!

  • Had a great time with my friends and the music was amazing!

by Mira on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the artists selected were great and the set-up was very well thought out. My only complain is the insanely long line for food. I missed a whole show because the line for food was so long.

  • room for improvement

by girl band fan on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

loved the lineup and performances improve: - more vegetarian food options - you guys ran out of veggie options at 4pm! not cool! I was forced to eat chicken and french fries - cheaper food options - I spent $60+ on food I didnt want. - designated taxi/uber/ride share drop off area - more water bottle fill sites - the lines were so damn long, I didn't want to bother waiting - more obvious webpage for waitlist tickets - public transportation back to DC/Silver Spring - phone charger stations

  • Water fountains!!!

by EC on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

Literally love all things go but we NEED more water stations!!!! And the camera views on some of the bands really left out some performers!

  • So fun! Some suggestions!

by Coco on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

The artists were amazing!! There were some sound and video issues in the pavilion. I’d suggest using wristbands for pavilion ticket holders because it was annoying to have to bring up the ticket on our phones every time we crossed through the space. We had to transfer the tickets since one person bought them for our group and we were trying to conserve phone battery. I’d also suggest having more water coolers. We went to fill up our water bottles between sets and didn’t make it through the line to the water fountain. One of those orange Gatorade coolers at sports games would work!

  • Fletcher blew my mind

    by Tloves2eat on 10/3/23Merriweather Post Pavilion - ColumbiaRating: 4 out of 5

The actual performers were amazing. Fletcher killed it and I can still feel her songs in my head. The festival and process on the other hand was a freaking disaster. I had VIP which came with fast pass what was the benefit if I still had to buy season pass? The lineup for early entry wasn’t organized properly due to ATG gauging us with the season pass $59.99 to get in early to buy merch? Then hold us in an area mixed in with people who didn’t have early access. I’ll go again for Fletcher but I’ll still have a bad taste in my mouth about ATG operations and logistics.
