About

All the Way is a gripping new play about a pivotal moment in American history and stars three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad”) as President Lyndon B. Johnson.  This drama will take audiences behind the doors of the Oval Office and inside the first years of President Johnson's presidency, and his fight to pass a landmark civil rights bill.  Cranston as President Johnson will lead an ensemble cast playing roles such as Martin Luther King, Jr., J. Edgar Hoover, Hubert Humphrey, Richard Russell, Coretta Scott King, Lady Bird Johnson, Bob Moses and many more.

“Mr. Cranston cuts a vigorous, imposing figure as LBJ in Mr. Schenkkan’s sharply outlined portrait, employing a drawl as wide as a Rio Grande as the new president backstabs his way through the rough waters of a Washington.” -The New York Times

“Bryan Cranston not only lives up to the hype as LBJ, but ALL THE WAY is a sensational night of theater.” -npr

The show begins promptly at the advertised curtain time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management.

What a wonderful experience. Teriffic from start to finish. The acting was outstanding all around!! Left the play better educated on the events leading up to passage of the Civil Rights Act. Worth every penny and a must see.

Watching Bryan Cranston and the amazing cast was like being in the 60's with the real people. I believed that LBJ was talking to me - and I was right there with him watching him push through the Civil Rights Bill.

All The Way is a hit!

by Yogamom2 on 4/6/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Bryan Cranston is amazing in All The Way!!! It was nearly 3 hours long, which I was a little concerned about as we brought our 16 year old with us and we were mesmerized from beginning to end. Everyone does an impeccable job in their roles and it was truly the hightlght of our trip to NYC. Go see, you won't regret it!!!

All The Way is a must-see show, it's phenomenal!

by mikejab on 4/6/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Bryan Cranston was the reason for me to see All The Way. But it's not only him why you should go to this play. Brandon J. Dirden as Martin Luther King Jr. is just as impressive. The complete cast is. It's an amazing play, one of the best I've seen so far. Sometimes I forgot it was Bryan Cranston on stage, he is President Johnson. Indeed a performance of a lifetime!

    Bryan Cranston portrayed LBJ perfectly.

by gammaglo on 4/5/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

We were blown away! Having lived through the era after the assassination of JFK and the Johnson years we could relate to the events. Bryan Cranston delivered a spectacular performance. I can't think of any other actor who could have done it as well.

Make sure your tickets are closer to the stage. We were in the middle mezzanine and had trouble hearing the actors at times.

    all the way was riveting

by katr1na on 4/5/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Since War Horse, I haven't seen anything so fabulous on Broadway (or off). 3 hours which go by in an instant. Brilliant performances. Bryan Cranston is a superstar but he is not alone although rarely off the stage. My politics changed as a result of this evening. LBJ had a cause and the guts and the brains to deliver what he dreamt of. He was a staggeringly capable politician but his purpose was extraordinary and he, the "accidental" president , accomplished what JFK could only dream of. It is hard not to feel how current today's politics are to LBJ's time. We just have Obama instead of Kennedy and Biden is no LBJ. If from what you are reading here, you think you have to care about history and politics to be mesmerized by this play, this production, these performances. Well, yes, it would be good if you cared. But,i t is a huge drama and very satisfying. We need to film it and make it available to every classroom in the US.

Bryan Cranston went the distance in All the Way

by Jerseygirl25 on 4/5/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Bryan Cranston gave an unforgettable performance that was a master class in acting. He WAS LBJ all the way in speech, mannerisms and body language for nearly three hours. The show itself is a great vision of Johnson, the man, and the entire cast is terrific. But it is Bryan Cranston who is the must-see...even better than he was as Mr. White!

As a Br Bd fan I couldn't wait to see this play. Having lived through this period of time in the LBJ presidency it was excellent and accurately portrayed.

only if politics is your cup of tea

by mdog98 on 4/4/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Cranston & company were quite enjoyable. I left with a bad taste in my mouth when after spending $150/ticket, I was asked for more money in the form of donations for local theater. You're wealthy, Mr. Cranston - correct? Why not you show us how it's done & next time auctioning your "ear flaps" were over the top! - still an enjoyable show! some times a little over animated, but memorable!

    Bryan Cranston was Brilliant!

by DarrylS on 4/4/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York

We had very high expectations for this play and it exceeded every one of them. Within minutes we forgot we were watching Bryan Cranston and believed we were watching LBJ himself. The story was inspiring and the acting was superb from top to bottom. And the staging was excellent. This is a must see.

Bryan Cranston was amazing, as was Brandon Dirdon. The story line was interesting, especially if you are a history/politico file. However, 3 hours was quite long. There was supposed to be a talk back, but instead there was an auction of the prosthetic ears, after which we left to make the train back to NJ.
