About
All the Way is a gripping new play about a pivotal moment in American history and stars three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad”) as President Lyndon B. Johnson. This drama will take audiences behind the doors of the Oval Office and inside the first years of President Johnson's presidency, and his fight to pass a landmark civil rights bill. Cranston as President Johnson will lead an ensemble cast playing roles such as Martin Luther King, Jr., J. Edgar Hoover, Hubert Humphrey, Richard Russell, Coretta Scott King, Lady Bird Johnson, Bob Moses and many more.
“Mr. Cranston cuts a vigorous, imposing figure as LBJ in Mr. Schenkkan’s sharply outlined portrait, employing a drawl as wide as a Rio Grande as the new president backstabs his way through the rough waters of a Washington.” -The New York Times
“Bryan Cranston not only lives up to the hype as LBJ, but ALL THE WAY is a sensational night of theater.” -npr
The show begins promptly at the advertised curtain time. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management.

by Hondamh on 4/9/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkNo words to express my tremendous delight! More than 3 hours of great acting and a common place with Sir Bryan Cranston performing no less than all expected based on what he can achieve from his masterpiece character in breaking bad.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Bryan Cranston - outstanding & hysterical
by CJTheatreAmateur on 4/9/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkCranston plays LBJ quite comically and illuminates him as a schemer and the ultimate politician. Great setup and scene transitions. Actor who played MLK Jr. was also very good. Enjoyable play for those who enjoy politics and great acting with a dash of humor.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Must See!
by MelissaKNYC on 4/8/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkThe show was great! I grew up in Dallas so I know a lot about JFK, but there was so much I didn't know about LBJ because JFK overshadowed everything else. I really enjoyed the show and Bryan Cranston was amazing. The only reason the show got 4 stars is because there were a few times I couldn't understand what people were saying because they weren't speaking clearly enough or their mics weren't up high enough.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Bryan Cranston WAS LBJ
by terrobl on 4/8/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkI probably would not have gone to this play if my sons were not so keen on Breaking Bad. I also had in mind it would be a one-man show. I think it was the best acting performance I have ever seen in my life, and dramatized a key period in US history that some of us have started to forget. Bryan Cranston brought to life this flawed, complex, courageous, wheedling and bullying politico. The other performers peopled the constellation around LBJ perfectly, from Bird to MLK Jr to Walter Jenkins. The staging and scenery were highly creatively deployed and added to the ambience of that tumultuous time.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Don't miss this show!

Rating: 5 out of 5 So Much More Than We Expected!
by Ponay on 4/8/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkBryan Cranston brings LBJ to life once again! His performance is so filled with passion, energy and irascible humor that you begin to believe LBJ is actually before you on the stage. All the other characters are also played excellently by a cast that is nothing short of marvelous. As someone who grew up in that era, it brought back memories of the sometimes tragic, often exciting and uplifting events that were unfolding at the time. Bryan's portrayal of LBJ, and the manner in which the show is presented and staged were far beyond our expectations.. That 3 hours went by so fast, we could hardly believe it.

by DavidHRNJ on 4/8/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkOne of the best plays I have seen on Broadway in many years. Bryan Cranston made you believe he was LBJ. The entire cast was excellent. A wonderful history lesson accurately portrayed (I lived through that era as a young boy.) Anyone that is interested in history and the very beggining of the civil rights and gender equality movements - JUST GO!
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 4/8/14Neil Simon Theatre - New York It was very powerful and helped me re-evaluate LBJ and his legacy. A good complement to PBS's American Experience documentary LBJ

by KensingtonJoe on 4/7/14Neil Simon Theatre - New YorkBryan Cranston , and his fine supporting cast , were truly outstanding. He particularly was as good a character as I've ever witnessed. I didn't think he could ever have me think of him as other than "Walt" .....but he blitzed Walt away. Fantastic show!
