Alkaline trio never disappoints. They were amazing. The openers were amazing and the crowd was outstanding. I had a 10 year old with me and she had a blast. The crowed was great when they helped get her up to crowed surf. One guy even let her stand in front of him so she could see better. The entire event was outstanding.
And I'll come back every single time. Excellent performance.
4th time seeing Alkaline Trio and they crushed it per usual. Fun energy, all three bands looked like they were having a good time. Alkaline Trio has a solid set of a handful of songs I haven’t seen live before. A few of us waited two hours after the show to possibly see them, but they didn’t hang (not that it was owed - they put on a killer show). Hopefully will see them again. One of my all time favorite bands!
Alkaline Trio put on a great show (per usual)! Great energy all night long. The venue (House of Blues) is one of the better in the area. Already looking forward to Alkaline Trio's next Orlando stop!
Well dressed, we'll tuned, and well ready to party!! They're not shy from blasting your ear drums and making a crowd move. Love this band!!!
Such a great show, the trio sounded spectacular! Lots of old stuff blended with new stuff.
After all these years Alkaline Trio is still putting on great live shows. If you haven’t seen them in awhile, or you never got to see them back in the day, go see them this tour and you won’t be disappointed. They played a great mix of old hit and new songs and stayed tight for the whole set.
I don’t think alcohol should be served at an all ages show. If it was 18+ great. But everyone left there super drunk with kids.
Really enjoyed the show. The Worriers gained a fan, Drug Church represented post-hardcore well, and Alkaline was exactly what I came to see. The venue - I’ve been to a few shows at the HoB Houston and each time I’ve been pleased with the ease at which things operate. With a little bit of thinking about timing I have never had to wait for anything, and never had any problems with views etc. Will attend again.
My first time going to this group. My friend recommended and invited to join him. When arrived the place was packed, most likely hundreds of people! The environment was really nice and the music before Alkaline Trio started things off with a huge bang! The group before them was drug House, which is now one of my absolute favorite bands. I recommend Alkaline Trio and drug House highly! Right now they’re both on tour together, check them out!
Great sound engineering. Best I've ever heard them sound at Stubbs.
Once again, easy ticket purchase, easy entry, secure but they are the kindest security team at any venue I've been to. Thorough but not pushy. The bathrooms are always clean (even if one did have a leak this time and was kinda sketch), the bartenders are always fast and there is RARELY a wait, and the sound is perfect. Alkaline Trio - this concert moved into my top 3 of all time. The mix of new album/classics was perfect. They sounded great, cared about doing a good job, and it was a ton of fun. Neither venue nor artist ever disappoints.
They grow finer with age! It had been 20 years since I saw them play live, I believe for the Crimson tour. They were so much better live this time. Matt and Dan seem like they share a brain just like they share the stage and Atom seemed like he'd been playing with them for the last twenty years instead of months. They played songs from every album and we saw them on Matt's Birthday and got to sing to him! Amazing night that I won't forget I brought my brother and 20 yr old son and 18 yr old daughter, all who I raised to be Trio lovers! It was awesome!
Alkaline Trio never disappoints! Opener Drug Church was awesome as well. Venue was spectacular (1st time there and was impressed) Price was fair even being a resale ticket
Everything about this show was fire. The venue, the boys, seeing Matt on his birthday and all of Phoenix dining to him. This couldn’t have been a better night. I wish we could have had a chance to meet them, but I’m so grateful to be three feet away. It was worth the 15 year wait to see them. I cried, I laughed, I sung my lungs out, and enjoyed every minute. Loved it, and I hope they come back to Phoenix soon!!
The second opener was awful, and unfortunately encouraged the mash pit causing several disturbances, and scary situations.
I have been to hundreds of shows and this show made me not want to go back to this venue because of how oversold it was you could barely get in the entry to the floor so everyone seemed in a bad mood in the back. It felt very unsafe to be that packed in. Not planning on going back to this venue which stinks because the sound was great and the venue itself was really cool visually. Alkaline Trio was absolutely amazing which is why this isn’t a one star rating.
As usual, the entry process and sound quality were great at HOB Anaheim. Unfortunately it was a sold out show and VIP was going for $200-225+. Who would pay that? Both huge VIP areas were ghost towns and the rest of the floor was packed like sardines making the concert distinctly unenjoyable - can’t see, can’t move, can’t get a drink, can’t go pee without a ten minute battle and losing your spot. If VIP had been 50% or more cheaper it would have been sold out and everyone else would have had more breathing room. I would buy VIP every single time if it was like $50-75 (and I go to 15+ concerts a year). Anything more pricy than that is counterproductive. At least offer up the vacant spots for discounted rates as the show goes on, or open up some or all of the vacant downstairs rows to GA if they’re not sold. I’d totally buy that discounted VIP for the last band because I’m old and my back hurts
The venue, the vibe, the fans... everything was amazing! This is my 3rd alkaline trio show and they never disappoint. Never been to the HOB Anaheim,it's a great venue!
Alkaline trio is one of the best sounding bands live. I’ve seen many bands and none are as good as them. I loved the mix of songs they did.
