About

Alice Cooper in Concert

Rock icon Alice Cooper is teaming up with Grammy-winning hard rock band Halestorm for a co-headline amphitheater tour across North America in the summer of 2019. The 19-city tour will kick off July 17 in Allentown, PA at the PPL Center and make stops in Detroit, Chicago, Houston, and more before ending August 16 in Camden, NJ at the BB&T Pavilion.

Rock 'n Roll Hall of Famer Cooper brings an all new show and very different look than recent tours. Dubbed as "Ol' Black Eyes Is Back," new music is expected in time for the tour, produced by his longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin. He produced 2017's acclaimed Paranormal album, featuring friends like ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, U2's Larry Mullen Jr, and Deep Purple's Roger Glover, as well as original Alice Cooper band members Neal Smith, Dennis Dunaway and Michael Bruce. Cooper's most recent release was in 2018 with the live album A Paranormal Evening At The Olympia Paris. In addition to recording and touring both on his own and with the Hollywood Vampires (with pals Joe Perry and Johnny Depp), Cooper continues his nightly syndicated radio show "Nights With Alice Cooper," heard worldwide on over 100 radio stations.

    Alice and BOC still ROCK!!!!

    by dan1187 on 8/2/09Celeste Center - Columbus

Alice Cooper is still rockn' the stage with his unique mix of music and theatre. It was more like a show then a concert. A show that you don't want to end! Blue Oyster Cult also rocked the stage with all their hits. It was truely an amazing event!

    The Top of his Game!

by AliceFan on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Alice is always a consummate professional and an incredible performer. This makes my third Alice Cooper show. Each was in a different setting/venue, and with a different backing band, and yet there remains one immutable constant...Alice Cooper is one of the best showmen and frontmen in the business - then, now, or ever. Though I was under the impression that the stage show had been revised or slightly changed, I could really tell no difference. Not that it was boring, even after a third time seeing it. It was still as entertaining as ever. Alice's enthusiasm for performing is always obvious, and spills out into an infectious passion for the music that quickly engulfs his entire audience. I have seen thousands of performers, and many that have been great...but no one ever really comes close. More than 10 years after my first Alice show, it's obvious that he has only gotten better. The set list was great, as always. All of the more radio-friendly hits, and all of the favorites of the hardcore Alice fans, though I was a bit surprised that the encore consisted of only one song...the very same that opened the show, as well (School's Out). Alice is worth the money, worth the drive, and worth the time...regardless of how much of any of those is required. He remains a legend, and is definitely not to be missed!

    Alice was energetic!

by Kalaka on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Alice Cooper still has his edge! He's as amazing as ever. I recently bought a 1973 DVD 'Good To See You Again Alice Cooper' and he seems to have the same energy level as he did then, maybe better. He doesn't fail to entertain. The band was also great, though very loud. I wished I would have worn ear plugs as I was 4 rows back from the speakers blaring into my ears. Other than that, definitely worth the ticket price!

ALICE COOPER NOT ONLY ALIVE, BUT STILL KICKIN'

by Dachschund2 on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

Alice Cooper was amazing. The theatrics and the talent backing him were second to none. The show could have been longer with more songs, but overall it was superb. This is my 2nd time seeing Alice and his band. I will go again. Should have played Dead Babies and maybe Steven

Alice is in good voice and his back up band was fantastic. They put on a wildly energetic show with all the stage props in tow. If you are on the fence about going, climb down now and get your tickets! Alice and the gang do not disappoint!

by Tamiwynot on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

OMG!!!! What a show!!!!!! The best I have seen since I saw him 2 years ago at our State Fair which was a free concert but he gave just as much as he did last night. Will go to see him whenever he's close enough for me to get there!!!! His voice is still incredible, strong, gutsy and great. The theatrics were wonderful and fun. Wonderful performance. Can't say enough about it. I told EVERYBODY I know about how great the show was. The band are a great group of young but very talented musicians and played their asses off!!!!! Love you Alice Cooper!!!!!

    Awesome Alice

by cooperfan on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

It had been 30+ years since I had seen Alice in concert, What a great show he puts on. It took us back and made us feel like teenagers again. He started and ended with "Schools Out" and put his biggest hit in between. I won't wait another 30 years to see Alice again.

    Was not his best.

by Jothatsit on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

I loved it, but I was really wanting to hear "I'm Hungry". Also, this time he didn't introduce his band. They are great and I think they deserve some recognition.

    Major sound problem

by johnemi on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

I was excited and anticipated the show because many people told me it would be different. They were right. It was like watching a rock opera. I don't want to give away any specifics but it was quite entertaining. I would have enjoyed it much more if the sound wasn't so bad. The first few songs, some of which are my favorites, were so distorted that all I could hear were drums and bass. The vocals and guitars were almost undiscerable and it was far too loud. This was an outside venue and the first show of the tour so this may have been the reason. It improved as the show went on.

    Incredible, Immortal Alice Cooper

by Black13 on 8/1/09Horseshoe Southern Indiana - Elizabeth

The show: Alice Cooper was simply amazing- from the band to the theatrics and everything in between, the show was perfect. There was no opening band, and Alice played for about 90 minutes. Alice didn't say a single word between songs, he lets the music do the talking and doesn't waste any time. The only complaint about the show is that he did School's Out as an encore, even though he had already done that song earlier in the set. With a catalog as extensive and excellent as Alice's, I can't see why he should do the same song twice. The venue: Horseshoe's outdoor concert setting is terrible for anyone under 6 feet tall. The cheap seats are the best seats because they are tiered. All of the floor seats are folding chairs in a parking lot. If you don't get front row, don't spend the extra money! Speaking of money, the only thing crazier than Alice was the beer prices. $6.00 for 16 oz. of beer... At ticket prices today, beer should be free!
