Italian crooner Al Bano and pop princess Romina Powers thrilled fans around the world in 2013 when they reunited on stage after 14 years apart. Following their marriage in 1970, the duo shared an illustrious singing career together as Al Bano & Romina Powers for nearly three decades before divorcing in 1999, raising questions about whether they would ever perform together again. Those questions were answered with the pair's triumphant return to the spotlight in Moscow in 2013, where they performed their classic ballads to a teary-eyed audience of nostalgic fans. With a highly anticipated performance in Atlantic City scheduled for 2014, North American fans eagerly await the rare opportunity to spend one more unforgettable night with the duo as they perform romantic hits like "Felicita" and "Ci Sara."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Southern Italy, Albano Carrisi made his debut singing in festivals in 1966. After winning his first contest in 1968, he released several hits, earning his first gold record with "Nel Sole." It was his marriage to Romina Powers and their ensuing career together, however, that earned him the most recognition, including their high-profile appearances representing Italy in the 1976 and 1985 Eurovision Song Contests. In addition to his work with Powers, Al Bano is an accomplished solo artist and opera singer, releasing several platinum albums and performing in place of Luciano Pavarotti with The Three Tenors. With 165 million albums sold worldwide, Al Bano remains an Italian national treasure, continuing to tour internationally and joining Romina Powers in 2014 for several highly coveted appearances.

This is my first real concert, so I don't have experience to draw from and compare, but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of songs, the time they spent doing the performance, my seats and overall experience of the concert by Al Bano and Romina Powers! I hope they continue to do more concerts.

When Miss Lillian, the usherette, saw us she quickly upgraded us to floor seats so that we did not have to climb the stairs! The concert was everything we expected and more! The audience sang with and we had a great time. Unforgettable experience!

Al Bano makes you feel like he is a part of your family. The show lasted over 3 hours. Al Bano and Romina sang at least 25 of their greatest hits with intimate dialog in between. You can feel the chemistry and love Al Bano has for Romina, its almost like a soap opera. I will continue to attend his concerts when he comes to NJ or CT in the near future with great felicita. (Happiness).

by GreatLAgal on 4/27/15Saban Theatre - Beverly HillsAlbano never disappoints,his voice is magnificent the theatre is not big enough for his voice. Bravisimo Albano! He talked to the audience as if he was talking to friends and I felt he showed his true self on stage. I had hoped for a repertoire that included more of the old songs and something like Tornero, and Caruso, but nevertheless I enjoyed every bit of what he sung. He also came down to the Orcherstra row and sung with some of the audience . Romina looked beautiful as always and I liked her poem and her songs too. Her sons music is good too. He should play more in Los Angeles.

Al Bano and Romina were personable in their presentation, voices were wonderful, songs selected were great, back up singers were terrific, and the entire family participated on stage. Al Bano came out to the audience to greet them, continuing to sing, it was a very energetic evening. Loved it, and would like them to perform in LA again.
