AJR IN CONCERT:
New York-based brother band AJR is generating significant buzz with their unique blend of barbershop harmonies, dubstep beats, and internet-savvy lyrical references. The trio's success with debut single "I'm Ready" has inevitably drawn comparisons to fellow brother outfit Hanson, but AJR's eclectic sound and DIY approach put them in a category all their own. From bright handclaps and playful samples to energetic ukulele and guitar strumming, AJR have crafted an endlessly creative sound that always leaves fans wanting more on their unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
AJR is comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The native New Yorkers got their start as street performers, playing covers of songs by the Beach Boys and Vampire Weekend in parks around Manhattan. The brothers released their debut single "I'm Ready" in 2013, tweeting it out to a number of celebrities in the hopes of getting discovered. The tactic worked -- the song caught the eye of SIA, who helped AJR secure a management deal. As the group's reputation continued to grow, they made their first TV appearances with performances on Good Day New York and VH1's Big Morning Buzz show. In late 2013 AJR released the I'm Ready EP, a solid debut that earned them opening slots on tour with big-name acts like Demi Lovato and the Wanted. A rising young act with talent to the gills, AJR have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.
AJR put on one heck of a show! From the violin and horn to the sound bound, keyboard, drums and base guitar, the sound was outstanding. The visual effects and entire flow of the show made this one of the best I have ever seen! And I’ve been going to concerts for the better part of almost 4 decades. AJR is in my permanent playlist now and I hope to see another show in the future!

I kept seeing posts of people seeing AJR’s tour saying how incredible it was. How they laughed and cried and were amazed by the show. I wasn’t buying it because, after all, it’s only a concert. WOW. I laughed. I cried. I was AMAZED! They put on a performance like no other. I sat in the very last row and was blown away. They’re my favorite band for a few years now. Highly recommend. Their music is great, too.
AJR was amazing! The show was filled with cutting-edge effects, videos and banter. And the music was perfect!! The newly re-vamped Kia Center was the perfect host for our favorite band. Parking is connected to the venue, security was courteous and fast and the bathrooms were clean!
Great concert! My step daughter loved it. This was our second AJR show (first was Ok Orchestra Tour in Raleigh). Entrance was easy, parking was easier than expected (I think we got one of the last spots). I cannot say enough great things about AJR. Great band, excellent performance. We love them.
We saw AJR at music fest last year and were blown away by them, seeing them in an arena was a totally different experience and just as much fun. Fantastic show. Will definitely see them again! As for the venue itself, it is a great place to see events, but as with most arenas, food and bev is way over priced.

I’ve seen over 200 concerts in my lifetime and I must say the TMM tour by AJR may possibly rank as one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. It’s that good! Ended up driving 2 hours to see it again.
Such a great show. Somehow they manage to make it intimate and huge, all at the same time. Love this band, even more after seeing them live!

I got to take my two boys to their first concert and I’m pretty sure they’ll be spoiled after this one. We had an absolute blast and AJR knows how to entertain. Haven’t had that much fun in I don’t know how long!
Going into the show I knew that AJR typically put on a huge production. But I was not expecting it to be THAT huge. I invited a friend who had only listened to one of their songs before and we’re still talking about the whole experience days later. Absolutely phenomenal show, everything you could want out of a live performance and more.
AJR is my son’s favorite group. I also enjoy all of their music and find them to be extremely talented songwriters, singers, and performers. For their first headlining tour filling arenas they truly did not disappoint. The group performed old and new songs with enthusiasm, acknowledged the crowd and talked about their experience performing in the city over the years, recognized the other musicians that performed with them, and left with an inspirational message at the end. The audio was produced exceptionally well and we did not experience any moments where the bass or treble seemed completely unbalanced and the audience were amazing, singing along with everything and with no incident. The band even performing in the audience was an amazing experience. They created a special memory for everyone around, including my son for his first ever concert experience. They had really set the bar high. We look forward to the future endeavors of the Met brothers and what they bring to the industry.

We had floor seats. The show was fantastic. We hope to see AJR again in the future. The have an awesome performance. One of the best I've seen.
Everything about the concert was amazing. The opening act was really good. The amount of time and effort put into the concert and the details was stunning. My only regret is not spending more on tickets for better seats.
I bought AJR tickets for my daughter's Christmas present. I know I was going with her but didn't really know AJRs music. I started listening to the new album and really liked it. After going to the concert I am now a fan 1000% Amazing performance, sound and over all talent! When they went into the crowd to one of the higher levels I couldn't believe it! That's so great to bring your fans in closer even though the Kia Center is huge!! Great show will definitely want to see them live again!
The best concert I have ever been to! I have been to many concerts and this by far was the absolute best.
