    AIR was damn sexy..

by loomer on 3/19/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

I had a fantastic time seeing AIR at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. Was not over crowded, yet there were enough people there to make it feel nice. Had a great view of the band the whole night. I have been a fan of AIR for a long time, yet never had the chance to see them live before last night. I am glad I jumped on the opportunity. $50 is a lot more than what I usually pay to go see live music, but I can honestly say that it was worth it. I am not too familiar with AIR's newer material, since I have not purchased an album of theirs since Walkie Talkie, but they played a lot of the old tunes (ie: Sexy Boy, Kelly Watch The Stars, Femme de Argent...etc)

    Air was an ok show

by Vortec on 3/19/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

This is the second time I saw Air, the first time was at the TLA last year. This time they were a 3 piece band. I did miss the other people they had on stage the last time. They filled in a lot of the music that was missing. But once I got over that it was very interesting. They played a lot of music from the new album and it sounded really good. But the one trend I am not appreciating is paying over $40.00 to see a band play less than an hour and a half. If they had a strong opening band, maybe, but this wasn't the case last night. If the old guys in Rush can play 2 1/2 hours, Air can play 2 hours.

    AIR: An excelent concert

by Felipebass on 3/19/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

I like this guys a lot, and this was my first AIR concert, so i didn't know what to expect. They played most of my favorite songs, it was awesome to see them do the voice modulations of their songs. This concert helped me to understand how they do their music. The venue (Center Stage, Atlanta) was awesome. The quality of the sound was great, very clean sound, nice acoustics. Besides the songs, the show is accompanied by good visuals by using a projector.

    fantastic show!!

by shabyg on 3/19/10The Electric Factory - Philadelphia

I've seen Air twice- once in the Bay Area and now in Philly- they just seem to get better and better. This show was mindblowing! I was worried after reading bad reviews online about the venue but I loved the electric factory. The crowd was so great too! This was by far one of the best concerts I've been to.

The show was amazing, ethereal. Waited around their tour bus at the end and they were very gracious and patient guys. Had a great night from start to finish.

    Too Short

by Shlabd on 3/17/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Awesome show, but too small of a venue and they didn't play long enough. A band like AIR is so big that they need a bigger venue that can hold more people. They also should play on a Friday or Saturday night and play @ least 2 hours! I was disappointed they didn't even play an hour and a half considering they don't tour that often...especially in the US...and especially in Atlanta!

    AIR fans UNITE!

by ceigler66 on 3/16/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

Fantastic visuals accompanied the music of the French duo AIR at their concert in Orlando Sunday night. The Hard Rock Live venue was pleasant and the atmosphere was spacious adding to the overall enjoyment. AIR played all of their favorites... "Cherry Blossom Girl", "Be a Bee", "Sexy Boy" , "Do the Joy" among many others. The song specific, mind-blowing visual projections displayed behind the band enhanced each song and made this concert a night to remember. If you are a true AIR fan and get the chance to see them, you will love their show.

    A wondrous evening with Air

by no1rockfan on 3/16/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

If you've never thought that a techno band could put on an interesting show, Air will prove you wrong. It had been 6 years since Jean-Benoit (JB) Dunkel and Nicolas (Nico) Godin aka Air visited Center Stage in Atlanta, and they sure made the show worth the wait for the sold out show. They played nearly every hit and many excellent album tracks, so the entire set was their best music. They only brought a drummer this time and had a keyboard tech to program JB's vintage Moog board about every song or two. The backing visuals were simple animations but effective and there weren't many light changes. That created a mellow evening. There was dancing and cheering in the audience and jokes by the band: Nico: "This song is in French. Do you speak French tonight?" before launching into whistling hit Alpha Beta Gaga. Some songs were sped up for variety, and the computer voice was intact for "How Does It Make You Feel?"

Air destroyed! They played all the hits, as well as some of their newer jams. And they weren't afraid to crank the songs up and rock them out

    AIR = mindblowing

by McBeezy on 3/16/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Air has been my favorite band for years, but this was the first chance I had to see them live. They blew my mind. It's the next morning, and I can still barely transfer my thoughts and feelings to words. If you have the chance to hear them live, go! GO!

Air is far better on record / AM Great

by ATLGUY on 3/16/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

I like Center Stage and I enjoyed the show but I think AIR is far better on my audio systems than live. The show came off soulless and somehow as caricatures of themselves. I kept thinking how good the Flight of the Concords imitation would be. They are of course very tallented musicians just better on record I think. They also had stage lights that kept shinning right in my face which pissed me off. The band AM that opened was outstanding and I'm looking for their music now!

    Truly an amazing experience

by KellyWatchtheStars on 3/16/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

These guys were incredible! Love 2 actually made sense once I saw this show, and they incorporated some of my all-time favorites from their back catalog. When they started their encore with Sexy Boy and La Femme D'argent (which they made into a flawless 15-minute-long jam) I was literally beside myself. Let's just say that a vocoder has never sounded this sexy before. I would highly recommend these guys, they completely blew me away.

    Electric Air

by diamond123 on 3/16/10Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Air fulfilled all of our expectations coming to this concert. The group, largely known for its electronica downtempo jazz that relies somewhat on pre-recorded mixes, etc. The electronic nature of the musical experience did not overwhelm the true genius and talent of these two musicians. Amazing how basically a three piece band ( with a very busy synthesizer/mixer assistant) could make such an incredible sound. . An excellent show.....

What an experience! They played a lot of their classics which obviously made a lot of people happy. I was curious as to how good they would be live, but they did a fantastic job of recreating all they music with some stuff that was added just for the live show.
