Air Supply on Tour

For a group so strongly associated with defining the pop template for a particular era, Air Supply have proved to be impressively timeless. Their blockbuster hits from the 1980s still stand up as strongly as ever with mellow, melodic charm. And after all the water that's passed under the bridge, frontmen Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell are still hitting the stage together, entwining their voices to achieve the same magic that's sold millions of albums and earned them adoring fans around the globe. While their tours have offered something special in every era, Air Supply took their live show to another level when they launched their 2019 jaunt The Lost in Love Experience, presenting their hit-heavy set with the esteemed assistance of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and achieving an even grander onstage sound than ever.

Air Supply in Concert

Aussie singer Russell Hitchcock and British singer-songwriter Graham Russell, the team that makes Air Supply breathe, first began working together in Melbourne back in 1975. They released their first, self-titled album a year later, but initially achieved only modest success in Australia, and it took a few years for them to break out in America. The big moment finally came in 1980 with their fifth album, Lost in Love, which turned out to be a monster in the States. The record bowled Americans over with three huge hit singles: "All Out of Love," "Lost in Love" and "Every Woman in the World." Between Hitchcock and Russell's vocal blend and the melodic appeal of their carefully crafted pop ballads, Air Supply became full-fledged stars. If anyone ever wants a definition of what adult pop was about in the first half of the '80s, you need only point to Air Supply, whose hits defined the adult contemporary sound of the era. But the Air Supply story extends far beyond the '80s — Hitchcock and Russell have never stopped bringing their music to the fans, and they continue to pump fresh oxygen to a waiting world.

    Air Supply

by NYSETRADER on 8/22/09The Ritz Theater - Ybor City

While you may not want to admit to your friends that you actually like Air Supply.....they're amazing performers. They're voices still ring just as true as they did in 1982 when you were making out in someones basement with your radio shack disco ball traveling around the rooom.

    Air Supply, still going strong

by Autumn911 on 7/19/09Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

Excellent concert as always! The most recent concert we saw was at the hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Biloxi Mississippi and from our driveway it was 588 miles each way but well worth the drive. Excellent concert as always. We have been to recent Air Supply concerts in Hilton Head SC, Hallandale Beach Florida, Biloxi Mississippi, and we already have tickets for Orlando for an August concert plus we are trying to find out about a concert that may be held in Augusta Georgia in March 2010 but we have only found limited information so far but if they play there we will be there. Air Supply was the first concert that I ever attened when I saw them as a teenager in Savannah Georgia in the late 1980's and I have been hooked since then.

Air Supply , Always a Class Act!

by KT22 on 7/17/09The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Air Supply concert at the Fallsview. We have seen Air Supply many times over the years and never tire of them. As always their performance was wonderful. Aside from enjoying their music there is a feeling of warmth and appreciation of their audience that eminates from the group. We look forward to their return to our area.

    Air Supply is AWESOME!!!

by Amita on 7/16/09The Avalon Ballroom Theatre At Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort - Niagara Falls

The concert was fabulous. This is the third time I have seen them in concert. This show was outstanding. They played all their hits, and did a few cover songs too. The piano player was new and amazing. The guitar, bass, and drums were also outstanding. They have an amazing energy on stage and the concert was over 2.5 hours. Then they stayed to sign autographs and take pictures with their fans. I brought a photo from last time for them to sign and they were so pleased to do so.

Girl friend said "Best Birthday present EVER!"

by Sirnight on 7/15/09Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

The concert was very unforgetable. There were fans of all ages.Just around us from 26 yrs old to well, ummmm older than me. (47 yr old fart) Surprisingly both Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock still have the ability to make a few moves and keep the Ladies screaming. The secret is out a new song to be released soon about a young couple and him going off to fight for freedom. We all were treated to an early listen. Everyone watch for it really makes you listen to the words like used to in OUR day. Have to admit I did stop watching Air Supply a while and enjoyed the Lady in front of me wiggling to the beats. My girl friend said this is "The best Birthday present EVER"...guys it is nice to make your Lady friend happy. As we all know if they are WE are ohh sooo happy.

Air Supply put on an unbelievable show!

by JPAL on 7/14/09Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

Graham and Russell really connected with the audience from the first moment, displaying great energy and enthusiasm. Their voices remain as strong as the original recordings. The band was fantastic, too. My husband was a bit tentative about attending the concert, but now he is a great fan. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the show. The group performed what the audience came to hear....their hits! I have nearly worn out the Greatest Hits CD, and I surely hope I get the chance to attend another of Air Supply's concerts very soon.

Air Supply Concert at Hard Rock Cafe

by Rocket18 on 7/13/09Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

Although the band did a wonderful job wooing the women, the concert was ridiculously short. The whole lasted one hour. We drove after work all the way from New Orleans which takes over an hour to see a one hour concert for the hard earned money we spent for tickets and booked them a year in advance. Shame on Venue.

    BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES

by NCALABAMA on 7/13/09Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

Great concert. Brought back a lot of memories. I just recommend that if you see this (or any other concert) at Hard Rock Biloxi that you don't purchase tickets towards the rear. At the times the bar crowd was so loud you couldn't hear the performers talking to the crowd.

    Air Supply was great!

by Brian1973 on 7/12/09Hard Rock Live - Biloxi

The songs were just as we remembered them. Their voices were virtually identical to all their albums. The band was great as well.
