Air Supply on Tour

For a group so strongly associated with defining the pop template for a particular era, Air Supply have proved to be impressively timeless. Their blockbuster hits from the 1980s still stand up as strongly as ever with mellow, melodic charm. And after all the water that's passed under the bridge, frontmen Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell are still hitting the stage together, entwining their voices to achieve the same magic that's sold millions of albums and earned them adoring fans around the globe. While their tours have offered something special in every era, Air Supply took their live show to another level when they launched their 2019 jaunt The Lost in Love Experience, presenting their hit-heavy set with the esteemed assistance of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and achieving an even grander onstage sound than ever.

Air Supply in Concert

Aussie singer Russell Hitchcock and British singer-songwriter Graham Russell, the team that makes Air Supply breathe, first began working together in Melbourne back in 1975. They released their first, self-titled album a year later, but initially achieved only modest success in Australia, and it took a few years for them to break out in America. The big moment finally came in 1980 with their fifth album, Lost in Love, which turned out to be a monster in the States. The record bowled Americans over with three huge hit singles: "All Out of Love," "Lost in Love" and "Every Woman in the World." Between Hitchcock and Russell's vocal blend and the melodic appeal of their carefully crafted pop ballads, Air Supply became full-fledged stars. If anyone ever wants a definition of what adult pop was about in the first half of the '80s, you need only point to Air Supply, whose hits defined the adult contemporary sound of the era. But the Air Supply story extends far beyond the '80s — Hitchcock and Russell have never stopped bringing their music to the fans, and they continue to pump fresh oxygen to a waiting world.

    Oh my aching backside

by Kevsrose on 5/7/24Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

Ameristar somehow found infant seats for all the adults at Air Supply! My aching backside! There was some confusion on when (IF) it was safe to rush the stage. I'm not rushing back to Ameristar anytime soon.

First time I've seen them. Was surprised how good this was

by Johnny on 5/7/24Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

Not my typical type of show. Usually I am at 80's rock and hair bands. Girlfriend wanted to go so... We had picked up a few old albums the last couple of years and listened sometimes. I knew a few songs. Remembered a few others. And liked some I'd never heard. But I still wasn't exactly expecting a "show". This was an entertaining show. It would have been much better had the venue not had signs up saying basically sit down, be quiet, and no phones. These guys want you standing, singing, and recording. Took halfway through the show for people to figure out they weren't going to get thrown out for that. And yes, Russell can still sing

Always on top of their game

by KCWildGuy on 5/7/24Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

This was our 5th time seeing Air Supply recently. The energy they all bring to the stage is palpable. You can truly see the enjoyment they get from performing live. The entire show from start to stop is electric. The entire crowd, from ages 5-80, sings along to the songs they have known for 40 years. The quality is as good as they have ever been. I attend a lot of concerts, and Air Supply is in my top 3 of bands to see live, just because of the enjoyment they have, and share with the crowd.
