Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations (Touring) Tickets

Ok, it's a good story, simply told. The music is the foundation for this show and the talent level of the performers just isn't good enough to do justice to the fantastic sound of the Temptations. The choreography was fairly good, but again, not up to Temptations standards. I imagine it's hard to find such talented artists to act in a National Touring Company for this kind of show. All in all, the show kept our attention and was entertaining. Sound stystem not loud enough for such a large venue, and for the kind of musical performance we expected.

My husband and I attended the show on 2/9/2021, and he stated that it is best show he has seen in long time, and I agreed wholeheartedly. The story, the energy were toe-tapping and took us back to a time of both happiness and strife. We want to see it again.

Ain't too Proud was a fantastic night of music and history of one of the all time greatest groups; the music was classic Motown so who couldn't love that?! I did not know the history of the Tempatations, so it was a little bit of a history lesson for me; the sets, the performers, all were first rate!

I was 15 when the Temps began their career and everything about their music makes me happy!

Not enough singing. Too long almost 3 hours. A shame because they had great voices. The dancing was good too but too much of the same life story

Had dinner on the way to the venue. Didn’t tell her where we were going or who we were seeing. Had amazing Box seats and a great view of the performers. Singing was all our favorite Temptations songs and dance routines! Incredible!!!

Outstanding acting! Never a dull moment… loved it!

The music was great as was the dancing. I was unable to hear any of the dialog so missed the story line which made the show very long.

The talent on that stage was beyond belief. 2 1/2 hours of dancing, singing and more dancing with spot on routines. How do they do it? They're All Stars. The production was great and I liked the story line. It was sad in many spots and the music followed their story in a similar entertaining seamless way to the Jersey Boys. What an entertaining evening...fabulous!

Very big fan of the Temptations and loved the music. It was great to also get a feel for how the group handled stardom. May go see it again when it come to a city near us!

I didn't know anything about this show until I sat in my seat. From the jump, I was so impressed with the level of talent on that stage - WOW! The characters, those voices, the dancing - the whole vibe. What a treat! Thank you for sharing your talent. Don't miss this one. I'd see it again in a heartbeat!

One of the very best shows my wife and i have ever seen. The music and singing were exceptional. The dance routines were right on. From the start of the show to the very end absolutely fantastic.

I truly enjoyed every moment . I never knew about the temptation life and the many obstacles, trial and triumph they all went through individually until i saw it that day. I must say it blown me away. I loved every performance, it was riveting, i was overwhelmed with joy. The actors were unstoppable. They left me giddy and speechless at the same time. Brava, brava

The story of "The Temptations" as told through founding member Otis Williams. With the backdrop of the racial tinged turbulent 60's, "Ain't Too Proud" chronicles the ups and downs of the group and the extremely talented roster of individual singers. It's a wonderful and intense story, filled with interesting characters and the incredible songs and harmonies of "The Temptations".

I saw Ain't too proud in Charlotte North Carolina and every character was phenomenal!! Enlightening, entertaining. I sang danced, pop my fingers, tapped my feet and shed a tear or two. Enjoyed it throughly!!!!
