    hockey was good

by kkarp on 1/31/12Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

The event was a good event well planned out with decent accessability to players. Only complaint is that the sound system was horrible and needs to be tested before an event or upgraded.

Competition Great Venue not so good

Could not hear the PA system. No inter-action with fans. BORING! Whoever was in charge had no imagination.

Lots of great hockey fun for fans

by Aerosfan14 on 1/31/12Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Had a great time at the AHL skills competition, post skills party and the AHL all star game itself. Lots of action for everyone to enjoy and wonderful access to the players for signatures and even chatting.

    Skills challenge was great

by Squirtsam3 on 1/31/12Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

The skills challenge was great to see. Both events were very kid friendly as my son loved interacting with all of the mascots in attendance. A tremendous amount of skill was shown during the game itself. My son really enjoyed both events ad it was a great father son experience.

AHL All Star Event worth the trip!

by Moon1701 on 1/31/12Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

This Event was my first involving minor league hockey and I was skeptical. However, the players were amazing in their skill and their patience for the Event. They all signed after the Skills Competition which was awesome for those folks who stayed around. Seeing all of the different jerseys was neat as well. I am definitely a fan now! Having Bobbie Clarke and Bill Barber as honorary Captains was a nice touch. Having all of the mascots present made the Events! They were loads of fun and even skated between one of the periods. They were awesome! I even scored an autographed t-shirt from the Gryphon. The Arena was ok. My only real complaint is the quality of the sound and the scoreboard were poor. Scoreboard was fuzzy and was not working during the announcements at the Skills and half the time for the Game during introductions. We could only understand half of what the announcements were. All around a fun time.
