Africa Umoja Tickets

Africa Umoja was energy filled and very enjoyable. It was a little hard to follow because there was no translation of the songs. The costumes were wonderful and inspiring.

Great. Would see it again. Brings the whole of SA.

A must see show . The history of dance and music in South Africa bringing people together . Simply Beautiful !

The singing, dancing and drums were amazing. It’s joyful and at times funny. The narrator was also great. We need more togetherness in this world today

The show was very colorful, informative, exciting and brilliantly done. Singing voices and dancers were phenomenal!! Costumes were believably African. I loved the fact that there were ladies of all sizes 2 to 18 maybe, who were extremely talented with all of the dance moves. The splits, jumping in the air like acrobatics, flips and twerking like no other. But the twerking was graciously done not vulgarly done. I enjoyed it to the utmost. I wish it had been advertised in the Black churches more, then I believe every show would have been sold out!!

This was my second time attending this show. Can't wait until next year.

THIS PERFORMANCE WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT FROM BEGINNING TO END!

Storytelling, rhythms, colors, movement and harmonies led my spirit on a journey that left me filled with a sense of joy and triumph. The African in me was connected to an energy I once experienced on the Continent. It was a magnificent production I will now consider a sacrament, to be partaken every chance I get.

Saw the show a few days ago with a friend and we both loved it. It was very entertaining. It had great singing, dancing, a lot of history, it was humorous and so much fun. I did not want it to end. A MUST SEE!!!

Upon arriving (drove from The ATL), Louis Armstrong Park was the perfect place to Chill-Out and Recoup. Mahalia Jackson Theater was BEAUTIFUL (As she Was). Not a full house, I was surprise (maybe it was the time of day - 2:pm showing). The performance was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. For all who missed UMOJO, you missed an AMAZING performance... Don't Let That Happen Again....Don't. You willl love it as much as I, and hopefully the others who attended did. I'd drive to see the Artists/Performers, again. I did not attend the show in The ATL, because I wanted to make sure I went with My Sister.

This show was fascinating! The history along with the visual and audio stimulation was breath taking. We had a great time.

The show was great, I was early and loved the pre-show in the lobby. I saw the show last year and brought a friend this year. I love the dance of the culture. I was front row center and loved every min.of it.

I have been telling everyone I running into that they need to go see Africa Umoja. The Orleans Parish School Board should contact the promoters to get discount tickets to Africa Umoja.

Umoja was an amazing, high energizing show. It was a great way to celebrate Africa and it's rich history.
