  • fun for the kids - and the other "big" boys

by xicataz on 2/22/11DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

for 1.5 hr show - they kept it moving. Fun for the kids and us, too. I'd recommend arriving earlier than we did - we were looking for our seats during the national anthem! The kids would've loved the Grave Digger hats - but the snow cone cups were cool, too! Great view - I don't think there was a bad seat in the house! It's loud at the very beginning (when they brought out the trucks), but not too bad after.

  • Better on TV

by MJtruckFan on 2/22/11DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 2 out of 5

The arena was way to small for these vehicles, don't go expecting what you get on TV

  • Great Show

by Anonymous on 2/22/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

As usual the Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam show was great. The drivers are always so good with the fans and really take their time with them. The show was packed with great trucks and drivers and the expression on my son's face and his best friend were priceless.

  • Very Poor Performance

    by mater45 on 2/22/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 2 out of 5

This was the worst performance of the Monster Jam that I have seen. Three of the eight trucks broke down and didn't even finish their free lance for 60 seconds. The buggy races were poorly done and so fake. For the performance we got, the tickets were way over-priced. If I knew where to go for a refund, I would ask for my money back. If you keep putting on such poor shows, it would not surprise me if they don't make a stop in Pittsburgh anymore.

  • Dennis Anderson is the show!

by DROPTINES68 on 2/22/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 3 out of 5

Overall the show was fantastic as usual, but when Tom Mentz or Dennis Anderson come on the track for freestyle it consistantly makes me think everyone else should just stay home. Just bring several Grave Diggers and several Maxx Ds and just have Dennis and Tom do they're thing and you will never have a bad review. Just when you are thinking this is a really good show those two come out and are leaps and bounds above the rest and I can't help but wonder why are the other drivers so reserved?

  • dennis aderson was awsome

Very enjoyable, Monster Trucks were great, but the motocross guys were amazing. Quad racing was fun as well. Never a dull moment. Sunday afternoon was great.

  • Monster truck show with more lows than highs.

by PossLastTruckShow on 2/22/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 2 out of 5

I am 30 years old and have been to about 5 shows in Mellon and civic arena. I waited till my son was 4 before I took him to see the monster truck show. It wasn't as fun and entertaining as I remember. My son enjoyed the show until about the middle. There was so much down time in between races or "entertainment" that he actually asked me if it was over yet because he was ready to leave. I won't be back unless my son brings it up and wants to go.

  • Monster truck was money well spent!!

by begonia2011 on 2/22/11Oklahoma City Arena - Oklahoma CityRating: 4 out of 5

I am the mother of two boys and we attended our first Monster Truck event over the weekend. My boys loved every minute and they are fans for life now. The $15 cotton candy and over priced drinks were kinda a downer but overall experience was great.

  • Where were the Monster Jam stars?

by AppleMedia on 2/22/11FedExForum - MemphisRating: 2 out of 5

Monster Jam is something my family looks forward to but we all were a bit disappointed with the lineup this year. Gravedigger, Spiderman, and a couple others were not a part of the show this year. The motor cycle portion of the show was nothing to rave about at all. With the International Car show being the same weekend, I think we got more valuable out of looking at new model cars than the sporting entertainment of Monster Jam. Probably won't go back next year.

  • Monster Truck Jam Consol Energy Center

Very nice event. Well planned. Consol Center is beautiful! Good seats all over the house.

  • Monster Jam made a 6 year smile for days!

by MelHur on 2/22/11DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 5 out of 5

My husband took my 6 year old son to Monster Jam at the DCU Center. They were 5 rows back from the safety zone (glad I didn't realize that ahead of time or I would have been a wreck)...he absolutely LOVED it. Is still talking about it 3 days later. He loved every aspect of it, he wishes he could have "met the trucks" but Pit Passes were not available the day he went. He loved it and is talking about going back next year!!! Maybe the entire family will go next year!

  • Too much for so little

by GrandmaPap on 2/22/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

4 adults and 4 children went to event (over $33 each) . Children thought it was good for a period of time, then got bored because of same things done over and over. Was extremely limited as to what they could do with arena being so small. Glad we took them to see it but would not do it again unless it would be outside or at a larger facility so more could be done.

  • Fun for the whole family

by cindeeC on 2/22/11Oklahoma City Arena - Oklahoma CityRating: 4 out of 5

This was our first Monster Jam. We took our son for his 8th birthday. His older sisters were not that excited about going, but by the half, when the motorcycles were flying, they both were saying they want to go every year! Souveiners were a little pricey, seats very affordably priced.

  • Umbrallas were not allowed @ Dodgers Stadium !

    by Hank90045 on 2/22/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

It was a shame not being allowed to bring our umbrella in to the stadium under the soaking rain. Rain coats with the hoods were not sufficient enough under the heavy rain. We had to leave the show early after getting completely soaked. What a joke !

  • 4th time, but my 9 yr old still loved it

by BostonLori on 2/22/11DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

Over the years, we've been to this event at both the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence and the DCU Center in Worcester. The Providence arena seems bigger so there's more the trucks can do. But the Worcester show is good too. 4 times has been more than enough for me, but my 9 yr old son would go again! Very, very loud, but you can buy $1 earplugs at the venue.

  • Monster Jam

    by highvoltage2 on 2/22/11DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent show this year. For a small venue (DCU Center in Worcester, MA) they still get up a fair bit of speed. An improvement this year were the motorcycle stunt riders. Best motorcycle stunt show they've put on at this venue. Good jumps, great air time, excellent tricks, and a couple of guys who know how to do a back flip. A permanent (for the show anyway) dirt mound in the center of the venue vastly reduced set-up and tear-down time for the stunts. The finale of all four stunt riders in succession was a first. Quad wars were typical, a scripted hostility between team NY and team MA riders. But still fun to watch. I'm sure it's a treat for the little ones.

Awesome! Sons loved driver autograph session and we'll go next time for sure.

  • Rainy weather monster jam

    by squishy22 on 2/22/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

I had never been to a monster truck show before. Turns out it rained all night and made the show even more interesting for the audience due to the mud. I had a blast. We ended up soaked but it was all worth it.
