Had a great time. Took my nephew and he loved it!!
The arena at the Consol Energy Center was too small for Monster Jam. There was not enough room for the trucks to do much of anything and there was WAY too much time in between the trucks. It was nothing like you see the trucks doing on TV. Got to give the drivers credit that they could maneuver in that small space.
The show was great, I would definitely go back, however the quads were kind of a waste of time. Overall it was a great show.
Show could have been alittle bit longer.Should have stadium trucks back with monster trucks
I initially went to this event and was expecting a wonderful time. During this event it rained the entire time which is something no one can prevent but I felt this event should have been refunded. Not only did the rain have practically every part of Dodger Stadium flooded, the trucks could not perform to the full potential. At least five trucks got stuck in the mud. The freestyle of the show was horrible. We could have went to any place that had a dirt path and seen the same results from any off road truck. Basically this event was like trucks circling in the mud. Very upset with this event and can’t believe they allowed it to go one and refund every single persons money back.
Me my 3 yr old son n boyfriend enjoyed it so much... idk if it was tha rain but was super fun... i didnt even mind tha fact that i was soaked... my kid had a blast... rain or shine it was so worth tha time n money.... cant wait till the next event...
No excitement this time. I go every year and this was the worst. You could not hear the girl announcing at all. The sound was very poor. And it was not because of the trucks. It was the audio. The quad wars are getting so predictable and boring as well. There were no unsmashed cars for the show...previous shows had buses and alot more cars to crush. I took a bunch of first timers with with and we were all un happy.
Fun time, all boys, easy to get to ,easy parking not to crowded.not to long of a show
there is always somthing going on the whole time your there. THere was fourwheeler races, demo car races..
Quote form my 5 yr old " the trucks were SO loud and SO big. I want to go again!"
While I love the new venue, the event just didn't come together this year. First, the announcer seemed somewhat under-informed...in past years the announcer seemed much more in tune with the event, the sport and the drivers. Second, much of the time you could not hear the announcer. Third, several of the trucks broke down and considerable time was spent removing them from the field. Fourth, I thought over all the performances were, at best, weak. Fifth...the quad wars are getting old...and, oh so, staged. Overall...very disappointing...as a footnote, this was my 10th time.
The show was absolutely amazing. The contact with the drivers is one of a kind. What other sporting event do you go to where you get to meet each driver and get autographs
My husband and I took our sons, 6 1/2 and 4, and our daughter, 4. Our boys are really into monster trucks and were so excited. Bad thing is we just saw the trucks come out slowly climb over some hills and then park. The highlight was really the motorcycles and 4-wheelers that came out.The announcer was horrible. We couldn't understand a word he said. It was a very disappointing experience. We will not be attending another Monster Jam event.
Monster Jam was awesome! We took our 4 year old and he loved it. Wished there were bigger named trucks like they advertise (ninja turtle, batman). We have already purchased tickets for next years Monster Jam
The show was great, my 2 year old had a blast! We bought the Pitt Pass for the Pit party before the show and I wouldnt recommend buying this. There was no organization to it and there were lines everywhere! Very hard to manuever around, I feel they sold too many tickets for this part of the show. I think they should have raised the price of this ticket and sold fewer tickets. This way it may have ran a little smoother. The show itself was great, a few of the trucks broke down during the show but thats going to happen now and then. I would definatly recommend taking your son or daughter to this event. My son already said he wants to go next year!!
My 6 year old son enjoyed this event. This is our 2nd year attending a monster jam. My only complaint is that the show is too short. We'd enjoy a little more course time for the trucks!!
I have it 4 stars because my 10 yr. old son just loved it. That was whole point of going anyway. From an adult standpoint, it was just ok. The arena was to small. I really felt for the truck drivers. The tickets were way over priced. adult and child the same price?? How about full price for the kids and 1/2 for the adults?? Now I realize they do this hundreds if not thousands of times around the country. I'm sure one arena looks like the next (well maybe not DCU, it is SMALL), but seperate where you throw the tshirts. I mean really row 125 got everything!! My gosh to see the faces on those kids.....come over here. The only thing i will truly rave about is the motorcycles. I wish they put them on more or longer. They are really something!
Too cold and rainey........Truck action was not very exciting.
Too much down time, my 6 year old was bored out of his skull.
MY WHOLE FAMILY REALLY ENJOYED THIS AS WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TO ONE BEFORE
