    Roberts Stadium to small

    by cutlerfan06 on 1/10/11Roberts Stadium - Evansville

Thunder Nationals is a great event, but Roberts Stadium is just to small. The trucks had to shut down as fast as they get going....I can only imagine the pressure the drivers and performers have to put on this event with such limited space. I definetly felt like I wasted $130 for good seats. Positive notes is the company does a great job at marketing the event, and the thrill for small kids to see trucks that big in action is great. I will most likely go again in the future, but just to a bigger venue like lucas oil stadium.

    Monster Jam Thundernationals was fun!

by chamaja on 1/10/11Blue Cross Arena - Rochester

Had a great time! The show was well done. Intermission motocross show was really cool too. Took our 3 boys, ages 13 & 8 and made fans out of them! The arena was small, so only 4 trucks and they could only go in one direction. The fumes were terrible, they kept the big doors open to air it out, but that made it really cold. We had ear protection, recommend to everyone. It was very loud, but that was kinda cool, you could feel the engines roar in your chest! Program was only $10 but the cotton candy was $15!!! Crazy! I would go again, it was really neat.

It was a lot of fun

by SkullLee on 1/9/11Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester - Manchester

I had never to a Monster Jam Event. Brought my grandson for his birthday. We enjoyed it very much. We were entertained throughout the entire show. The stunts were good and the motor cross team were simply amazing in what they were able to do with such a limited space. The exhaust fumes were a little overwhelming towards the end of the show and I would recommend not forgetting your earplugs, but otherwise it is a fun wholesome family evening.

    Awesome!!!!!!!!!!

by SkittleBoJangles on 1/9/11Blue Cross Arena - Rochester

The show was awesome! El Toro Loco did not do well, but seeing Captain's Curse for the first time was great!!! Grave Digger had a transmission failure in the first competition, but in about 45 minutes was back and ready for action, which just left me sitting with my mouth hanging open. Medusa was in her prime and took on the boys with a skip in her step. She was unbelievable!! Lots of fun!!! I'm going next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Big Headache

by ScottsGaGa on 1/9/11Roberts Stadium - Evansville

Having been to several Monster Jams at Roberts Stadium, I knew what to expect, loud noise, big trucks and exhaust fumes. However, this time the fumes were so bad that we left early. My 5 year old grandson was actually getting sick from them. This isn't the best venue for Monster Jam because of the small size and usually that's OK because he's just thrilled to see the trucks. This year he was thrilled with Maximum Destruction and Batman, but the exhaust fumes in the building were just to much to allow him to enjoy the show.

    going down hill

by ratrodtim on 3/26/10Pensacola Civic Center - Pensacola

been many times and this time seemed to have less attractions and a lot more "down time" between events. I assume this is due to higher safety precautions after recent deaths. I took my 13 year old and her friend and they looked bored through a lot of the show. The action seemed to be much slower and the "filler" attractions (clown, taco, etc.) were quite lame compared to previous years.

    Thunder Nationals

by MasterEOD on 3/10/10Pensacola Civic Center - Pensacola

An absolute rip-off. Concrete floor, no room for the vehicles to do anything except go over the same three vehicles. They'd do this for approximately 10 minutes, then stop while the air cleared. In the interim, an announcer you couldn't understand would babble, and some ATV's would race around the perimeter of the arena. We left after 45 minutes.

    Kids will love it

by Ralphie2 on 3/10/10Pensacola Civic Center - Pensacola

It's an OK show, you can't understand a word the annoucer/emcee said, comedy was really silly to the point of embarrasing

I had a great time with my 4 year old son. The only complaint I would make would be that there be more action. Otherwise it was good.

    boring and repetitive!

by activemother on 3/8/10Pensacola Civic Center - Pensacola

I brought my 2 year old son and husband to this event. This was our first monster truck show, so we had really high expectations. It took us 35 minutes to realize that the show really just consisted of trucks taking their turn going over the same cars. This happened over and over again...with four-wheeler and clown breaks that were far from entertaining. We left 35 minutes into the show, not caring to see another pair of trucks line up to go over the same set of cars. Do people really pay $25 or more dollars to see this show every year?

    boring

by coaltrain on 3/8/10Pensacola Civic Center - Pensacola

the civic center is way to small to have a monster truck show. The trucks would run for a few seconds then would shut down for 15 minutes while the idiot anouncer would try to entertain the crowd. not worth the money and a waste of time. I feel like My son and I were ripped off.

Got me once, but never again!!

by rogert on 3/8/10Pensacola Civic Center - Pensacola

What a terrible event! Really lame. Nothing like the commercial. Not able to hear anything the anouncer guy was saying. Complete rip-off! $10.00 sno-cone. My 10 year old boy even thought it was a joke.
