About

Power, passion, a sense of style as well as funÑ they're all part of the package when you buy a ticket to Adam Lambert concert. Since first displaying his singular and uncontainable talent on the American Idol stage in the show's eighth season, the San Diego-raised glam rocker has laid down the gauntlet to any and all modern performers looking to thrill audiences. Born with a preternatural confidence that belied his years, Lambert burst out of the gate with 2009 For Your Entertainment, which showed off his dance floor strut and pop star sheen, while 2012's Trespassing gave him an opportunity to workout his first-in-class tenor on emotion-laden ballads as well as funk rockers. (The album's lead single "Better Than I Know Myself" showed Lambert at perhaps his most vulnerable and heartfelt). But as much as he may thrive in the studio, it is on tour that Lambert, who can rightfully consider himself the pop disciple of Madonna and Michael Jackson, truly flourishes. He may be fully made-up in the glam regalia that is so much a part of the Adam Labert experience, but it is his voice that always commands attention. Built to fill stadiums but equally at home in clubs, it is a voice meant to not just to awe you its range and power, but also move you with its control and emotional complexity.

  • Fantastic

Adam gave an over the top performance. His voice is more than incredible. He definitely did not disappoint us. Song choices were spot on, although I would have loved to hear him perform Ring of Fire and Cher’s song, Believe. But I do understand that may not be possible.

  • Adam Lambert in St. Augustine

by Adam Fan on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing Adam Lambert live in the Saint Augustine amphitheater was awesome! The venue was nice and accommodating. Entrance with the Ticketmaster app went fine. All the volunteer workers at the amphitheater were friendly and helpful. My friend and I traveled from Virginia to see Adam and take in the sights in St.Augustine. I could not pass up the opportunity to see Adam, I’ve been following him since American Idol and he’s my fave. ❤️

I loved it! I would have done the meet and greet if it had not been virtual. I would love to see him again and the venue is awesome. We will be going again soon to a different concert.

  • Fantastic!

Best concert I’ve ever been to, that includes my first one which was the Beatles! Adam has the most fantastic voice & his showmanship is tops. I hope I get to see him again. Would love a Queen+AL concert in the US.

  • Never disappoints

Amazing voice and stage presence. Seem him With Queen and solo. Never disappoints.

  • Simply the best!

by Lssblue on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Adam Lambert has a voice like no other. It soars and caresses. Beyond the voice, his stage presence is untouchable. In a stadium of 5000, he makes you feel that he is singing just to you. How he sustains his energy for almost a hour and a half is sheer wonder! He never stops moving, giving his attention to the entire audience. This was the ultimate concert experience. I would do it again in a nanosecond!

  • Adam Lambert was fabulous

by Jo on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Adam sing a good variety of songs, his own, Queen, Duran Duran and Led Zeppelin. His Mad World and whatdayou want from me were so excellent. I was surprised with the format. He had an opening singer who was good as well. But he started at 8:05 or so and ended after an encore at 9:20. He really is a star

  • The Best!

by MAureen K. on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Adam Lambert many times, both solo and with Queen. This was the most rockin’ solo concert I have seen! He rocked it from the moment he hit the stage to the end! Just phenomenal! He performed many of his own songs, 3 Queen songs and several covers too. He nailed them all! He took a moment to address the anti-gay legislation underway in Florida, and was so well spoken and made such specific, humanistic points, without being aggressive or rude. He just made really good, common sense good points. Gotta love him!

  • Best Ever

by Elaine on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Adam several times and this was his best-ever concert for me. (Of course, all his performances are great!) More riffing, free-style which I adore. Lots of interaction with the audience. The venue was good and the volunteers working the venue were great.

  • Best time ever.

  • SuperStar Show

by Bonnie on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Adam Lambert was exceptional. We have been fans since he was on American Idol. He has only become better every year. Our seats were in the center front row behind the pitt. Adam Lambert never disappoints! Will continue to be his fan forever.

  • Awesome Mix of Music

by kiko1857 on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act, Summer Hoop, was a good starter for the show... The only drawback I would say was the lag between when she finished and Adam started. I had previously seem him with Queen back in 2013 in Chicago, awesome show...The only other shows of just him I had previously only streamed from home due to Covid, so the lag between opening act and main event was probably pretty typical. Between doing some David Bowie, Chris Issac, Duran Duran, Led Zeppelin, and, of course, Queen music mixed in with his own, I thought it was an awesome night of "Entertainment"...

  • Adam baby!

by Foyt on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Adams show was so fantastic, my daughter is a huge fan & we had great seats! He is great on video but nothing compares to him in person!

  • St Augustine

by Tamster on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 4 out of 5

Adam's voice was amazing 😍. The sound was great too. The disappointing part was Adams choice of songs. He sang many cover band songs, as opposed to his own amazing material. He ended with a Led zeppelin song. The audience waited, expecting him to return to the stage. Odd

  • AWESOME EXPERIENCE

Excellent venue. Friendly and helpful staff. Great performance 👏🏼

  • Okay

by Sandy on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 4 out of 5

The opening act was okay. The base was to loud so couldn’t hear the young lady very well Didn’t like having to wait over 30 minutes between her and Lambert His singing was great but he could have changed into different outfits like I heard he normally does and lastly put up tv screens since the girls in front of us stood mist if the show and I was in section 200 and paid a lot more money than the 2 times I saw Paul M

  • Too short

by Fran on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 4 out of 5

Adam Lambert sounded great. But he stop at 9:20 pm. I'm use to concerts going until 10 pm. I think Adam was disappointed at the age of the audience, and that influenced how long he would sing.

  • Love this artist.

by Arynn on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

I have liked Adam Lambert since American Idol. He is a great artist and has one of the best voices I have ever heard. That hasn't changed at all. The concert was entertaining and he is definitely someone I would see again. My only wish was that he would have played more of his own music, but I did still enjoy the covers. If you like his music, it's a great concert.

  • Great Show

by Paula on 5/7/22The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 4 out of 5

Sound could have been better. His voice was muddy. All we heard was bass and drums. Great show though!
