About

Power, passion, a sense of style as well as funÑ they're all part of the package when you buy a ticket to Adam Lambert concert. Since first displaying his singular and uncontainable talent on the American Idol stage in the show's eighth season, the San Diego-raised glam rocker has laid down the gauntlet to any and all modern performers looking to thrill audiences. Born with a preternatural confidence that belied his years, Lambert burst out of the gate with 2009 For Your Entertainment, which showed off his dance floor strut and pop star sheen, while 2012's Trespassing gave him an opportunity to workout his first-in-class tenor on emotion-laden ballads as well as funk rockers. (The album's lead single "Better Than I Know Myself" showed Lambert at perhaps his most vulnerable and heartfelt). But as much as he may thrive in the studio, it is on tour that Lambert, who can rightfully consider himself the pop disciple of Madonna and Michael Jackson, truly flourishes. He may be fully made-up in the glam regalia that is so much a part of the Adam Labert experience, but it is his voice that always commands attention. Built to fill stadiums but equally at home in clubs, it is a voice meant to not just to awe you its range and power, but also move you with its control and emotional complexity.

    He's Adamazing Lambert

by Soozin on 4/12/10River Rock Show Theatre - Richmond

I have experienced Adam Lambert live five times now and he just keeps getting better. He is unique in that he makes each show new and different - whether it is the outfit, the makeup, the hair, the vocal changes, his moves on stage Adam makes his fans not want to miss a thing. At River Rock the atmosphere was filled with excitement, the venue is small with only about 1,000 seats, and standing in front of the stage is allowed. The only downside was the sound was a little loud for the size of the venue and the bass in the backing track was sometimes overpowering - or so it was from the 4th row. Thankfully Adam has a voice that overcomes anything and his vocals were incredible, clear, and amazing. Adam is not just a singer he is a showman and I cannot wait to see what he delivers next! He incorporated a little Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Elvis, Jim Morrison, David Bowie and yet it was entirely his own. Kudos must also go to his rocking band, Tommy on bass, Monte on lead guitar, Longineu on drums and new keyboardist Cam.

Adam did not disappoint. We had great seats and with a couple of Caesar's were able to scream and rock out with Adam's great songs. He looked awesome as usual and his voice was spectacular.

    Adam Lambert is Amazing !

by totlglambert on 3/29/10XL Center - hartford

I saw adam in concert with the american idol tour and I must say that he commands the stage. The whole crowd was just in amazement when he was on stage. He brings enough theater to the stage to make it a real show and his vocals are amazing in person. I am a total glambert and can't wait until he starts booking dates in our country. Hope to see you there, you will not be disappointed.

    OMG!!

    by mnk9124 on 11/9/09Greensboro Collesium - Greensboro

I saw Adam as part of the idols tour and wow!!!! He totally blew me away. No man-made device will ever capture his voice. Yes, he sounds amazing on TV and on cds, but they are NOTHING compared to hearing his voice live. Others have said it and I will agree, NO Adam fan will be disappointed with his live show. He pulls you in with his voice and moves- and just "entertains you til you scream" ;-) He did "Mad World" that night and I literally forgot to breathe. I am so ready for him to start touring with his own music. I promise you I will be in at least one of the crowds.

    Adam is delicious

by BooA on 10/17/09Jobing.com Arena - Glendale

I saw Adam in Glendale, AZ. He was by far the most anticipated set of the night and he didn't disappointed. The roars were deafening when he took the stage. His vocals are beyond amazing and he commands the stage. By the time he sang "Lets Dance" and said I want to see you bitches dance he had the audience eating out of his hand. He is going to be a huge star and I can't wait to see an entire show by him.
