  • Sounded good even if a bit stiff

by SatansMilkman on 5/9/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

First time at the Paramount, really cool theater holding on to its bygone era decor. The English Beat opened up and they sounded great and were full of energy. A good start. Adam Ant's show had his traditional double drum kit and several guitar players (3 if you include Adam himself). He sounded really good and the show itself was pretty energetic however, I felt like Adam was showing his age a bit and was kinda stiff in his movement about the stage. We enjoyed the show and were taken back in time as both bands played all their biggest numbers. Glad we got to catch these guys while still able to perform, especially at altitude.

  • Hoping for better

Audio was horrible. After about six songs gave up and left.

  • Good but not great

by Gooser on 5/9/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

First off, seeing folks in their 50's and 60's jamming on stage and in the audience is a great site. The English Beat opened up and their songs were fun and I knew most of them. The biggest problem was the sound mixing and the volume. The mixing was muttled and the volume was so low I could easily hear the person next to me singing. Had those things been fixed, EB would have been stellar. Adam Ant to his credit, jammed through 20 songs. Interestingly there were no keyboards only guitars which lent the whole set more a harder edge than the 80's originals. That's not to say it was bad, it was just different. I actually liked it and the sound mix was much better. Why wasn't it great then? Well, Mr. Ant's voice could veer off into a different direction several times and while he valiantly tried to hit the high notes, he wasn't always successful. He also looked like he was very stiff and appeared to want to dance but could only manage the occasional heel twirl. These are minor nitpicks and overall, it was a great night and good show!

  • Adam Ant killed it in Denver

by Alphasonn on 5/9/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent night in Denver seeing Adam Ant and The English Beat, they both tore the house down, but Adam Ant in particular looked as good as ever with a pulsating drum beat that seem to permeate the whole concert, crisp vocals and sharp guitars and keys. Catch him while he is touring!

  • Adam Ant was fun!

by MixMasterMike on 5/8/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Adam Ant has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Songs of my youth. He played a great set and the sound was good. I don't think I have sung along and danced that much at a show in a while. The crowd looked like a GenX hipster club doing their best Breakfast Club reunion. It was a ton of fun and I would love to do it again soon.

  • Lots of fun and pretty good sound.

by Great show! on 5/6/24Rating: 5 out of 5

I love Adam, been seeing him tour since the 80's. And even though he can't move like he used to, who can really, he sounded amazing. The Beat were amazing, a bit muddy on sound at times but thier music is always so joyful and fun. The Fox is a great venue and has nice, comfortable seats in the orchestra sections.

  • Adam can still rock, but doesn't move much

by Seattle Scott on 5/6/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

The band was good, percussion was on point. Adam's voice has taken a little bit of a hit and he seems to struggle moving around much but still a good show. English Beat are still going strong, even with Dave as the only original.

  • Adam Ant… what can I say?

by Idaho Elle on 5/5/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I have been waiting forty years to see Adam! After a couple cancellations these last few years, I was not going to miss this concert, and we traveled 800 miles round trip to Seattle. The Neptune Theater is a very cool, intimate, historic theater, just perfect. The opener, the English Beat was an upbeat starter, getting the crowd hyped for Adam. Adam Ant and his fantastic band did not disappoint! An hour and a half of hits and deep cuts, dual drums, and intense guitars. Adam himself was as beautiful as ever, his voice still so distinctive. So good, and definitely worth the wait!

  • Best show I’ve seen in awhile!

by Molly on 5/5/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Adam Ant and his band put on such a great show. I’ve been to a lot of concerts, but this was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Hoping he will be back again sooner than later.

  • Great band. WORST VENUE.

    by Eric C. on 5/5/24Neptune Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

I wish these bands played at a better venue. The Neptune was decent for movies, but is TERRIBLE for LIVE SHOWS. All these killer bands deserve better!

  • Adam Ant at Fox Theater-Your Favorite Tunes and More

by greyeyegoddess on 5/2/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great concert, but I will say, I needed this for myself. I've seen Adam three times now and will admit we're all getting of age where we're a little slower. Can't complain, just noticed. I was very happy that he sang my favorites, Room at the Top and Wonderful, along with his more popular songs, Goody Two Shoes, Ant Music, Stand and Deliver and more. It was a nice trip through memory lane, from his earliest hits to his last few. The crowd was energetic and excited. One of the things about Adam's shows is that his band is very energetic and fun to watch. You get a whole show from everyone on stage. I would attend his show again.

  • A difficult balance nevertheless...

by Michael on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Your ticket prices and service charges are scandalously unfair & the behavior of the the people in the first 5 rows abominable but Adam is one of the fabulously underrated & gifted performers of the past 40 years...I will pay your ransom whenever he's in the Bay Area!

  • Venue should make it clearer that videos were not allowed

by Mark on 5/1/24Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 3 out of 5

I was actually there more for the opening act, The English Beat, and I enjoyed them--the only songs they left out that I wanted to hear were I Confess and Ackee 1-2-3. I'm not a huge Adam Ant fan, liking only Antmusic (which I heard) and Goody Two Shoes (which they likely played after I left, because I wasn't really enjoying Adam Ant and left early. The biggest disappointment was getting a tap on the shoulder by an usher who told me not to use my phone to record segments of the concert. This is fine; it's their right to do so, but it should have been made more explicitly known by the Warner Theater that such recordings were not allowed. I would rather know from the outset than be embarrassed by being told I was in violation of the rules. I was in the furthest row in back and saw quite a few people recording down in front of me, so I didn't think it was a problem. In fairness, they did go down the rows and enforce their rule.

  • Still Amazing Adam Ant!

by Michems on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was so fun from the 1st song of English Beat to the last beat in Adam Ant's amazing set!!

  • Sound guy/gal finally got it for the encore

by The Jackal of Folsom on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

Great performance and good to see Adam still entertaining the crowd at this stage. Sound was, "okay"for us in the balcony and sounded even better for the encore songs. Worth seeing this show

  • Rocking fun!

by JW on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 4 out of 5

Comfortable, intimate venue. Pleasant security staff. Sound for English was inconsistent, but performance was entertaining. Adam Ant can still belt out the tunes, he didn’t disappoint.

  • ADAM ANT & ENGLISH BEAT WERE AWESOME!

by Lobie on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

LOVED BOTH BANDS...First time seeing Adam Ant. They were both awesome and the Oakland Venue was GREAT!

  • The (English) Beat/Adam Ant

by CrunchyMuesli on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 3 out of 5

Seen at the Fox, Oakland. Both artist's and their bands were great! High energy and kept the crowd moving. However, the sound in the balcony at the Fox is horrible. I could barely hear the music.

  • Blast from the past

    by Stmo17 on 5/1/24Fox Theater - Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Brought back lots of memories. Crowd enjoyed every minute!

  • The Venue

The venue was great, easy to find areas and get around.
