About

ACTION BRONSON IN CONCERT:

Famous for his hilariously irreverent and often food-based lyrics, rapper Action Bronson is a burgeoning master of the microphone. While he draws frequent comparison to the seemingly immortal Ghostface Killah, his growth as an MC has put him into a category all his own. Fans are eagerly awaiting his 2014 tour dates in anticipation of his major label debut.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Queens-born rapper Arian Asllani is best known under the moniker Action Bronson. The son of an Albanian immigrant and a New York Jew, he dropped out of high school to work as a chef before getting serious about his passion for hip hop. After releasing a series of mixtapes, he put his name firmly on the map with 2012's Blue Chips in 2012, a critically lauded collaboration with rap duo Party Supplies.  His newfound notoriety allowed him to tour extensively, nab countless guest appearances, and turn enough heads in the hip hop world to land a deal with Atlantic Records.  He is currently working on his 2014 major label studio debut -- an effort that promises to blow minds.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"This is my third time seeing Action Bronson, 2nd time at the TLA. Real funny dude, puts on a real decent show. Well thought out, clever imagery in his rhymes. Hip hop at its purest."

"I didn't know what to expect from Bronson but I left the show on a natural high. All I can say is DOPE!"

"Amazing venue, amazing concert...Bam Bam brought it!"

Worst show I have ever been to in my life

by AvonBarksdale on 8/20/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

Doors opened at 5pm. I showed up around 7pm to a DJ on stage playing terrible house/techno music. Every so often someone would mention that Action Bronson was "on his way". Ok, so I stuck around and watched as more "DJ's" took turns going on stage turning knobs while using iTunes on their MacBooks to blast horrendous club music. Every so often, an amateur rapper from Miami would come on stage and rap over some garbage track. After suffering through about 6 or 7 of these backpack-wearing wannabe rappers, the DJ's picked up again. Bronson did not go on until after 10pm, 5 hours after the doors opened. He played maybe 6 or 7 songs, often cutting the tracks short. All in all he was on stage for maybe 20 minutes. It was a terrible waste of time and money and the last time I ever give Bronson any money. He obviously doesn't care about his fans at all.

    Non-Action Bronson

by PaniniPete on 8/20/13Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

After at least 8 no name local rappers doing 3 songs a piece were finally called off by the crowd cheering for bronson, he finally showed his face. He rapped at most, 9 songs. He was good for the short time he was performing, then moments after his last song said "peace yo" and he was gone. Too much hype for too little bronson!

Bronson was great when he performed, but he only did like a 25 minute set and then left super quick. Hardly no interaction with the crowd. Also, the venue wasn't that great. One drink minimum per person at a time, and $20 minimum when paying with a card...lol...made it kinda of difficult to get a beer.

This was one of the BEST concerts that I've attended in a while! I will be seeing him again whenever he comes back (of just might do a road trip).

I'm like the Boss at the end of the Nintendo game.

by ChipOnder on 12/5/12The Howard Theater - Washington, D.C.

Bronsalino did his damn thing. From start to finish. 300 plus pounds w/ no lack of energy in site. No hype-man. Just him & the DJ. He performed 1/3 of the show from the audience. And didn't miss a word. He left it all on the field. Right off the bat he scooped-up a young fan who was using those forearm braces to support him standing. He snatched him up, and sat him down on stage right in front of the DJ booth. (Went & got his crutches from the crowd) Then he fired-up a blunt, hit it 2-3X, and passed it to the. Who played the background the rest of the show. I got a whole new respect for that brother for that.

Action puts on a great show and I can't wait to see him again when he returns to the area.
