ACTION BRONSON IN CONCERT:
Famous for his hilariously irreverent and often food-based lyrics, rapper Action Bronson is a burgeoning master of the microphone. While he draws frequent comparison to the seemingly immortal Ghostface Killah, his growth as an MC has put him into a category all his own. Fans are eagerly awaiting his 2014 tour dates in anticipation of his major label debut.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Queens-born rapper Arian Asllani is best known under the moniker Action Bronson. The son of an Albanian immigrant and a New York Jew, he dropped out of high school to work as a chef before getting serious about his passion for hip hop. After releasing a series of mixtapes, he put his name firmly on the map with 2012's Blue Chips in 2012, a critically lauded collaboration with rap duo Party Supplies. His newfound notoriety allowed him to tour extensively, nab countless guest appearances, and turn enough heads in the hip hop world to land a deal with Atlantic Records. He is currently working on his 2014 major label studio debut -- an effort that promises to blow minds.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"This is my third time seeing Action Bronson, 2nd time at the TLA. Real funny dude, puts on a real decent show. Well thought out, clever imagery in his rhymes. Hip hop at its purest."
"I didn't know what to expect from Bronson but I left the show on a natural high. All I can say is DOPE!"
"Amazing venue, amazing concert...Bam Bam brought it!"
Bronson KILLED IT!!!! He went all in and I truly enjoyed the Bronson experience.
SHE ONLY LOVE ME WHEN IM NAKED! Show was toooo HYPE! Turnt city committee!
my man threw 2 flatscreen tvs. in the crowd... got hella lifted off the 2nd hand, amoung other things.. can't wait for the next show..
First time seeing the God, Bam Bam, and he put on an amazing, and legendary show. He didn't miss not one beat, and he threw TVs, iPads, and xboxs at the crowd. Then sandwiches. By far, a great show.
Been a fan of AB since Dr Lecter and saw him recently at a concert at BB kings where he killed it. Witt his first major label LP dropping the same day I thought this would be a special event. Bronson. Bronson rolled up late and just went through the motions. He looked physically exhausted and you could tell he has been just doing too much trying to promote. There was no passion and no connection with the crowd. The vocals were weak and he looked like he just wanted to go home. the place was crowded but well organized. Easy enough to get a drink or get to the restroom. Left before the encore because i was bored.
Action bronson is the man. He killed it. Big body is hilarious.
The concert was great. Really though I had a blast. B.B. Kings opened there doors exactly at the time they indicated. The coat check was right on the same floor as the venue if anything right before the entrance to the main stage & not pricey at all like other event venues I've attended. The main stage room consisted of two level floors, up top a bar with lots too chose from. I bought two well mixed drinks, about $7 bucks each. Pretty typical price for any bar at at any concert venue. The audience was warned up by two premier DJ's which played some great mixes and mash ups of old school & now hip hop, real great sound. About an hour into the DJ plays the man Himself, Bronsoliño hit the stage and blessed the audience with his presence and charismaticly hit the audience off with several old & new tracks with some help from Big Body Bez who had the audience cracking up with his thoughts and comments. definitely one night for the books.
I love Action Bronson. And FunkFlex. But I can't believe they had the show in the ice storm! I couldn't make it and therefore missed the show.
The stage being so low and close to the crowd made this show so personable and honestly unforgettable! I never once felt like there wasn't enough room or that I couldn't see anything going on like most venues. The energy was so amazing and he honestly brought such a connection to us (his fans). From giving every single person in the front crowd(who he could reach) a handshake or daps to jumping in the crowd and heading to the back and letting them experience the closeness it was all surreal and makes me respect him as an artist even more. The venue definitely allowed you as a fan to get on that personal level with the artist and I've never experienced that anywhere else
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Bronson came into the crowd. I was able to scratch his back. lol It was great. :)
Great show! Great venue Action Bronson killed it plus I had the chance to dap up bronson.
Show started off with opening acts, but none compared to the main event.
The opening band, Party Supplies put on a very good live show. The crowd was really into it for a warm-up band. Bronson came on around 9:30 and performed for about an hour, taking five minute breaks several times, presumably to use an oxygen machine as his real-life obesity was staggering. When he was performing he exuded a lot of energy and really engaged the crowd. Towards the end of the set he climbed off the stage and wandered around the crowd which was a fun gesture for fans to see him up close and pat him on his sweat soaked back.
best show i have ever seen!! loved every second of it! Action is so talented, has great energy and best crowd envolvement. i was front row and in the center! hands down best seat in the house! he rapped directly to me i got amazing pics. the guy beside me yelled wheres the henny at action said brb i gotta take a piss came back with cups, hennesy, and vodka and poured some for the front row and even stood on the barricades to give some more crowd members some! loved that hes not afraid of the crowd. best show you will ever see you wont want to miss it!! 1/22/14 cleveland house of blues
Amazing venue, amazing concert...Bam bam brought it!
This is my third time seeing Action Bronson, 2nd time at the TLA. Real funny dude, puts on a real decent show. Well thought out, clever imagery in his rhymes + the scent of drugs in the air. Hip hop at its purest.
I didn't know what to expect from Bronson but I left the show on a natural high. All I can say is DOPE!
Action Bronson has to be the craziest concert I have ever been to. End of story. That being said, it's a good thing it was because all of the fans had to wait three hours past original show time to see his ginger ass. The ticket said doors open at six, they didn't open until seven-thirty. The ticket said that show starts at seven, he didn't come on stage until after ten. I didn't know this a head of time but I guess that's common for him to be late to his own show. Overall, if you can withstand the wait to see him, I highly recommend seeing this guy because he puts on one hell of a show.
Action gave his all the night before but didnt disappoint throwing out g-pens and still playing mostly new joints including 4 or 5 old ones which werent played the night before.
Whenever, and anywhere I'm close to catch one of Action's shows I would go.
