ACTION BRONSON IN CONCERT:
Famous for his hilariously irreverent and often food-based lyrics, rapper Action Bronson is a burgeoning master of the microphone. While he draws frequent comparison to the seemingly immortal Ghostface Killah, his growth as an MC has put him into a category all his own. Fans are eagerly awaiting his 2014 tour dates in anticipation of his major label debut.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Queens-born rapper Arian Asllani is best known under the moniker Action Bronson. The son of an Albanian immigrant and a New York Jew, he dropped out of high school to work as a chef before getting serious about his passion for hip hop. After releasing a series of mixtapes, he put his name firmly on the map with 2012's Blue Chips in 2012, a critically lauded collaboration with rap duo Party Supplies. His newfound notoriety allowed him to tour extensively, nab countless guest appearances, and turn enough heads in the hip hop world to land a deal with Atlantic Records. He is currently working on his 2014 major label studio debut -- an effort that promises to blow minds.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"This is my third time seeing Action Bronson, 2nd time at the TLA. Real funny dude, puts on a real decent show. Well thought out, clever imagery in his rhymes. Hip hop at its purest."
"I didn't know what to expect from Bronson but I left the show on a natural high. All I can say is DOPE!"
"Amazing venue, amazing concert...Bam Bam brought it!"
Action Bronson & Meyhem Lauren are trillion % a must.
It's not every day that big artists come to Tucson. Meyhem and Action were amazing (and put on a great show). The sound system at Rialto was terrible though. Yup, the biggest theatre in Tucson couldn't make their speakers any better than a high school auditorium's. I feel the performance was short, but Rialto gave Meyhem Lauren a faulty mic and Action Bronson complained on stage about the mics too. If i were a big artist and the sound system and crew were this lazy, I'd wrap up early and leave too. I've seen Action Bronson before at smaller venues (before he was a big name) and they did better than Rialto at making sure things sounded right.
Great Show. Great Venue. The weather cleared up so we didn’t get rained on. I missed Action in Philadelphia so I was excited he added this show. Mayhem Lauren was great as well.
The guy sounds so good live. The sound guys did a good because it was a good sounding show.
Both Meyhem and Action really blew me away with there performance. The visual and audio of the performance was top echelon! Forever a fan of their live performances!
Amazing show with a good crowd no problems... Everything was great the sound the atmosphere the atmosphere the timing the show went on at a perfect time
It was fantastic seeing Action live and meeting him outside afterwards! Just wished it had been longer.
Great venue and show. Had a great time and alcohol was reasonable.
Action Bronson is one hell of a performer! From the set list, crowd interaction, song transitions, everything was dope. Can’t wait for another show!
Awesome concert, great energy. Timely performances. Bronson is a unit, Alchemist is the 🐐, Boldy is up next
Such a great time. My idols were way better at performing than i had imagined. Would definitely go and see again
I brought my little brother in the wheelchair and The Fillmore accommodated us to all the amenities we needed. Action Bronson came out on stage first. It was amazing to see him especially after he just had an impacted wisdom tooth causing a great deal of pain in his life letting alone trying to perform a concert. I was fortunate to see him a week prior at the mountain dew festival in hell Michigan. Always a great time I hope Mr. baklava is getting better. And I was glad to be able to see him, because he was not going to be able to make it to the Canadian half of his tour. I bought the best sweater that action Bronson drew the artwork on it at superkid. I love you Mr. wonderful and I was really bummed that I didn’t get to see Meyhem Lauren and big body where are you? On Jamaica & Queens?
I've been going to concerts for a long time, and this is the first where I've heard of a headliner opening the show. I arrived at the venue less than an hour after doors opened, and found out from the people around me that Action Bronson came on right at 8pm, did about 7 songs (half hour), had some technical issue, and then left the stage. Alchemist, Boldly James, and Sweatshirt Earle did a great job holding down the rest of the night.
But why every time Bronson comes here there is microphone difficulties. It made him upset to the point he cut his performance short. 2019 Bronson also come to Saint Andrews microphones cut off mid performance. Detroit we gotta get it right.
While I enjoyed the performances, the show started over an hour later than advertised, and over 2 hours after doors opened. That is unacceptable. That’s not always the venue’s fault I know, but if a show is advertised as starting at 7, it should start at 7. Also, I didn’t understand the need for a 20+ minute break between Action and Earl, as it’s not as though there was gear to switch out like at a band’s concert. Lastly, it was odd for the headliner to go first and only play 20 minutes. If he still wasn’t feeling well, at least advertise the new schedule for the evening. Thanks.
I bought tickets to see Action Bronson as he was listed as the headliner. he was on stage for a few songs. He was having sound issues and you can tell he was frustrated. He left the stage and never came back. It was a waste of money and time especially on Mothers Day!
I took my wife to her first hip hop concert. We may have been the oldest in the room, but it was a great cross section of people from everywhere.
The show started 2 hours after the doors opened. Action Bronson opened the show. He did 4 songs and left. Horrible experience
Action was supposed to be the headliner but he came out first and only did a few songs before leaving. Earland boldy james were great but I expected to see more of Action to be honest.
Beautiful lineup, Action is an awesome showman. I swear he was working out right before he came on stage he still had his elbows taped up. He looks great now too!! Lost a ton of weight and he moves around the stage a lot his presence is immaculate!
