Ace Frehley Live in Concert
Born Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley in Bronx, New York, Ace Frehley started playing the guitar at 13. He never went to a music school, nor did he ever take a guitar lesson since every member of his family played instruments. He spent the early '70s in a series of local bands. In 1973, he co-founded the American rock band KISS. He departed the band in 1982 and went on to lead a successful solo career. His 1978 solo output -- KISS: Ace Frehley (released as part of the KISS solo albums) -- went platinum. In 1984, he assembled, amongst others, drummer Anton Fig and bassist John Regan to form a group with a name that alternated between Ace Frehley and Frehley's Comet. This group recorded a series of demos throughout 1984 and 1985, and performed their first-ever live show at S.I.R. Studios in New York City on November 30, 1984. In 1987 he released Frehley's Comet and it charted on the Billboard 200. He subsequently returned to KISS in 1996 for a highly successful reunion tour. In 2004, he tied with Paul Stanley at No. 14 on Guitar World's list of the 100 Greatests Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time. Frehley's influences include artists such as Jimi Hendrix and Albert Lee, among others. In 2014, Frehley, along with the original members of KISS, were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His 2020 solo album Origins, Vol. 2, charted on the Billboard 200.

Cabot Theatre is a great place to see a show. Very happy with facility and the live performance!!!
What else can be said that already hasn’t been said about this Rock Icon! The venue was a small renovated theater (reminds me of muppets). Anyway, Ace’s voice isn’t the greatest, and I think his flash has slowed a bit over time (he did remind us that he was 71). But his set list was better than what he came with last year. All of his hits plus a few surprises (Strange Ways!). He is supported by some great musicians. The music sounded tight. Well worth the price of admission and the hour plus drive to the venue They rocked the small crowd. And the crowd responded appropriately. There are rumors that Ace is working on new music. Who knows. I’d be happy to get new music from him. And would love to see him your again
It was freaking amazing! I’m so glad I went, thank you Ace for a wonderful show.
Seats and staff was amazing. Ace put on a great show, smaller venue made this experience feel more personal. I would go to the Cabot again for future shows
We took our 17 and 10 year old boys and it was so amazing! Brought tears to my eyes and everyone loved it. Ace Frehley is a true legend and he played like a legend. Thank you Ace and the Cabot Theater.
Was awesome 3 row seats went backstage to say hello to the band.grest time thank you ticketmaster as always
The Showroom improvements were beautiful. There was no bad seat in the house. Ace’s concert was exciting and fun. I hope he returns. Very enjoyable and fun evening.
I can start by saying if you are not a KISS fan, then get yourself educated. Sure, fans such as myself were liking to hear some more of his solo material than his KISS years, but it was a compliment to his musical storybook. The fans still went crazy when he hit the stage loving every minute of it until the end. Unfortunate only did one encore (Deuce). It was known afterwards that a local western New York tribute band KISS THIS member who plays the roll of the Space Ace had loaned his own smoking guitar to Ace as it malfunctioned for a previous show prior ro appearing in Niagara Falls. On a personal note with the Ticketmaster e-ticket coming to your cell phone how is it not possibly to want to take photo and grab a video clip? Not sure if it is the venues policy or what, but some were told to stop who were a top seated by the entrance while others who got front ro mid rows were still capturing images for their own memorabilia being at this event. Got news for any venue who has Ace Frehley on their stage, he didn't mind the cameras and would had openly said otherwise as his bandmates were loving it too. So you might want to tell your staff to back the hell off and have the welcomed crowd enjoy themselves not needing a babysitter. I got my memories.
ACE was amazing as always. Love his guitar playing... original
Intimate setting, great music, animated band, very entertaining. Tons of fun!
Ace rocks the guitar as good as anybody out there still. Can't sing but still rocks.
Ace is now playing with a new band, and they are tight. Best he's sounded in years! The bartending staff is awful, and the drinks are apx $20/each. I would have drinks before getting there, just to be safe.
Nice view good show Great songs after all ace frehley did a excellent show 👏 👍 👌
The venue was awesome! Whether standing or sittng: there was a great view of the stage. Ace was very interactive with the crowd! Ace was electrfying. Love to see Ace again in concert at the Palladium!
Ace always delivers. Played all the favorites. Better than any Kiss show. His band was great, and his vocalist sang the Stanley parts better than Paul. Really great night. Keep goin, ACE!
Great crowd. Awesome performance. Fun show. Enjoyed it very much.
Frehley looked and sounded sharp! Great musicians behind him! The venue was impressive and the crowd was lively! My friend and I had a great time!
