  • Amazed and awed!

by concertlover on 5/2/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

We truly were not expecting much from this event, just looking for something different to do since we've seen all the Cirque shows in town. Boy were we surprised! The setting was intimate so we could see every act perfectly! The show was funny and the acts were fantastic. They really worked the audience in with the show and I felt like I was there with a bunch of friends instead of strangers. I hope the show stays around long because I'd really like to see it again the next time I'm in town. This is a must see!

  • Reminds me of old cirque shows

by maskedpoet on 5/2/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Congrats to Absinthe. Excellent show. Good acrobatics. Good humor from masters of ceremonies. Impressive performances. It reminded me of the old Cirque shows, which emphasized acrobatics and daring. Now Cirque is mostly themed shows with nowhere near as much implied danger. Thanks to Absinthe for bringing back that element. I'll go see it again.

Fantastic show. It was exciting, funny and set in a very intimate setting. The review of Rocky Horror Picture Show meets Cirque De Soliel is very apt. The acts were amazing and seemingly all done without a safety net. Highly recommend this show.

  • Absinthe rocks

Lively show with adult humor..the acrobats, gymnasts, tight rope guys etc were excellent..the tent/carnival setting was perfect...I would see this again.

  • A Circus for open minds

by epidicus on 4/30/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show! Intimate seating and literally in-your-face performances. You are within mere feet of some amazing Cirque-level performers. Now, please be warned, this show is not for the faint of heart. It is raunchy, foul-mouthed, and as politically incorrect as a show can be, but also a whole lot of fun. It throws traditional circus acts, some sexy burlesque, and a handfull of dirty jokes into a blender full of liquor to create an intoxicatingly good time.

  • A-MAZ-ING!

by NAimee on 4/29/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Great fun, and great entertainment. Bawdier than Circ, but with all of the astounding athleticism. Comedy and beauty wrapped up in pasties and spandex!

  • "cirque" light

by entertainme8 on 4/28/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

This was a fun show. While I had seen variations of the performances before (high wire, strong men, balance routines, etc.), the small tent and close proximity to the stage made this a much more intimate experience. The performers were all excellent. Bringing the show together with a theme and comedy was an extra treat. All performers seemed to be having fun and had great charisma and chemistry together. I hope this runs for a long, long time.

  • Absinthe Rules Vegas!!

by MandiDuleygeary on 4/26/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Absinthe delivered outstanding comedy, mixed with burlesque and THE most amazing cirque!!!! The intimate setting provided a true inside view of the raw talent in the show! I would recommend to anyone over 18!!!!!

  • Absinthe is spectacular!

by TouristaKat on 4/26/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Absinthe will keep you riveted from the Green Fairy's first appearance to the last glimpse of the cast. Breathtaking aerial acts, side-splitting comedic routines that are equal-opportunity offenders (if you're easily offended, just keep drinking!), amazing acts of strength and grace, glittering torch singers...Absinthe has it all. Although there isn't a bad seat in the house, it's general admission and the line forms early. The good news is, the line forms in Absinthe's own beer garden, which looks like Alice in Wonderland had a telekinetic meltdown in a funky old antique shop. There are lots of things to look at while you nosh on sweet potato fries from Baby’s Badass Burgers (yum!).

  • Good show but too expensive

by Anonymous on 4/25/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great but the price was too high for what it was. We sat in VIP and paid $125 per ticket. It was not worth that amount of money but it was a good show.

  • Absinthe was fabulous!!

by paige771 on 4/25/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The Gazillionaire and his partner Penny are hilarious and raunchy and so funny! I loved every minute of the show. I would definitely reccomend this show. Every seat is a wonderful seat in the house. The performers are all amazing. I can't say enough how i was cringing at the roller skaters. I could not believe my eyes!

  • by Anonymous on 4/23/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Politically incorrect and hilarious... Very talented artists.

  • Absinthe is a great value for the money

by jonrrr on 4/21/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

A very unique show and one of the top 5 in Vegas. No matter what you think it is, it is not! An adult comedy and cirque show all in one.

  • Absinthe was the funniest show I have ever seen

by martyk2011 on 4/21/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I have not laughed this hard in about 20 years. This was by far the best show for the dollar, and the funniest show in Vegas. Very entertaining, great fun!!

  • wild show!!

by frogs1 on 4/19/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

It was so much fun! Performers were so talented! It also had some raunchiness which really had the audience laughing and there was audience participation. The tent is inside a beer garden so you can throw back a drink before and /or after the show.

  • Absinthe almost got 5 stars

by Chicago5 on 4/19/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

First off, this show is not for the faint of heart, conservative or shy. Very raunchy.. but harmless unless you are the guys pulled on stage and forced to kiss another guy!. A great experiment in peer pressure for sure. Both my wife and I were blown away for the first 3/4 of the show, but then lost a little of our enthusiasm towards the end. The individual acts are incredible, and the fact that they are so close makes them even better. Unfortunately, the most elaborate act is too long and lacks the pep of the rest of the show. It certainly could have been one of the most difficult to perform, but I am afraid it lost us a lttle. Overall, a wonderful evening and well worth the admission. We recommend the VIP tickets and get their early so you can pick your seats.

  • Absinthe was Awesome!!

by CRV321 on 4/18/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Any seat is a good one - stage is RIGHT THERE! Amazing acts, Cirque to the next level. Hilarious! Would love to go again!

  • Absinthe was awsome!

by Paula4900 on 4/18/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Even though the tickets are general admission, never fear. The tent is small, it's theater in the round and there is not a bad seat in the house.

  • by Phoenixfanbruno on 4/18/11Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Best show I have seen in a while. Would love to go back to see it again. Funny, exciting.
