  • Band was good.

by Tom on 2/13/24Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 4 out of 5

2 drunk adults sang almost every song and had loud conversations. People around them kept looking at them. I finally told them I didn’t pay to listen to them and within 10 minutes they were back doing it all again.

  • A1A, the Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band

by PHlockteacher on 2/13/24Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 5 out of 5

We have been A1A, the Official Tribute Band, PHans since the late 1990's. This show, on Saturday, February 10th, at the Peabody in Daytona, did not disappoint. From the opening note to the very end when Jeff played acoustically for us, we were PHully engaged. My PHavorite part was the OLD Jimmy songs we so rarely hear with cover bands today. The pirates were an added bit of levity that makes this show better than all of the other tribute shows out there. I do feel that Jeff's mic was not as strong as it could have been, but he was belting those songs out, and I could feel every note in my heart. The dancing girls were 'okay,' but I think they could have shown more energy. But, Jeff, the pirates, and the rest of the band just rocked. We can't wait to see them again!

  • Keep the party going

A1A was on form and sounded great. Jimmy Buffett's music will live forever and needs excellent singers and entertainers to carry on the tradition. A1A fit the bill. There are other talented musicians in the Trop Rock genre and hopefully the Peabody will book more in the future. There will be a strong market for their performances.

  • Disappointing

by Gray Eagle on 2/13/24Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 2 out of 5

I was disappointed in the production. I didn't think the lead sounded much like Buffet. The band was too lound vs. the lead singer, so it was difficult to understand the words. Jimmy's concerts weren't like that. I also felt the show was somewhat "forced."The two dirty "pirates"dancing around on stage were an unnecessary distraction. We left before the show was finished.

  • Jimmy Buffet Tribute

by JG on 2/13/24Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 5 out of 5

The show was really good, music by A1A was all that we expected. The Lead Singer was entertaining, loved his voice & got the audience to participate on several songs along with his group. There were no intermissions-sang for 2 hours, unbelievable.. Everyone that was there, definitely should not had any complaints, from the singers, the band & of course the music of Jimmy Buffet....

  • Terrible.

by Kb on 2/13/24Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 2 out of 5

Considering they were a Jimmy Buffet tribute band, they did a Terrible job of picking the songs to sing. We are big fans of Jimmy Buffet and never heard of most the songs they played. A lot of people walked out during the show. If there would have been an intermission we would have left also. Will never go see them play again, even for free.

The band was phenomenal. Almost sounded like Jimmy. They did a great job following his life. Enjoyed it tremendously.

What a great night. A1A-live was so true to Jimmy Buffett's music. They were upbeat, played great songs, kept the evening rolling and were fun. So happy to have a band to continue to enjoy Jimmy Buffett's music. Thanks for a great evening and keeping the memory of Jimmy going.

The “concert” brought back memories of of our beloved “Parrothead” leader, Jimmy Buffett. The music was comforting and welcomed. Loved the songs that that they chose to sing. Some of the oldie but goodies that isn’t always included.
