Pretty boring. Kid (7) wanted to leave after 20 mins.
First the venue - this show is designed for viewing in black-out conditions - how is that possible when there are 20+ stairwells in the theatre all lit up, not to mention hundreds of people (including ushers!) walking around with flashlights. Next the show itself - from an artistic standpoint it was strictly juvenile. This medium has so much potential and yet we get a cheesy low-budget matinee about something that has nothing to do with Christmas. Which brings me to the last point - watch out - this show depicts violence, abuse, oppression, demons, idol-worship and has absolutely no redeeming moral value. NOT a Christmas show at all. Save your money, stay home, and watch A Christmas Carol - a much better way to spend 2 hours.
The storyline was very cute and age appropriate for adults & kids! The light up costumes are very cool & creative! It is live theater & only 5 people ran the whole show! Pretty amazing!!
I felt some of the scenes were a lttle violent for kids but overall enjoyed the show
This was a nice show. They were times where the facility needed to be darker in music not as loud but all in all a good show.
The overall experience was terrible. The seats in the HEB Center are half the size of an airplane seat. Do the math on that one. The show itself was laughable. Its advertised as a Christmas show but the whole time you are staring at worms and sunflowers. Very very little lights in a light show. Made no sense at all. I hope this company stops traveling from place to place and robbing people. Stay on the sidewalk with the street performers
What an adorable show! we loved it ! Very impressed that 6 people did the whole show! Def will go to there new show in Jan
This is the fourth year we've seen this performance. My son asks about it as soon as the weather gets chilly. Its a super cute story, and it's beautifully done by an amazing bunch of puppeteers. It's turned into a holiday tradition for us!
This show was very different, and not at all what I expected for a Christmas show. It seems as though they may have taken their regular show (which I have not seen, so this is an assumption) and tweeked a few minor things and turned it into a "Christmas" show. The performers did a good job, but the subject of the show itself (a baby bird getting seperated from his parents in a storm and trying to find his way home) was rather odd. Additionally, the show was rather short at about 1 hour 20 min (with a 15 minute intermission). Overall, the show was not "bad", I just expected more of a Christmas themed storyline as this was supposed to be a Christmas show.
