  • Wonderful

by JanP on 10/15/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

This was a high energy and completely entertaining show. It told the story of Ireland in both dance, singing and violin and guitar music. The dancing was fabulous and I hated to see the show end. Extremely talented cast and well worth the price of the tickets.

  • Better than Riverdance!

by John Wayne on 10/15/25Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Outstanding afternoon performance! Small group. 11 dancers but stellar performance! Wife commented she thought it was better than Riverdance which we saw a couple of times when it first came out. And she is Irish so she should know!

  • Lackluster

by Kristin on 10/14/25Rating: 3 out of 5

For the price of the tickets, I was not impressed with the show. The first half was lackluster. It picked up a bit after intermission, but the entire show should have been more like that. We contemplated leaving during intermission. They flashed the timeline or whatever it was on the backdrop but it went so quick that you couldn't read it, which made it hard to follow any sort of storyline unless you are already familiar with irish history. Save your money and see a different show.

  • Entertaining, but not cohesive

by Jessica on 10/13/25Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center - JohnstownRating: 3 out of 5

The two hour show became monotonous. The story they were telling was not told wel enough, therefore it was just tap and ballet in different outfits basically.

  • A great show

by Frank on 10/13/25Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center - JohnstownRating: 5 out of 5

The show was superb. The dancers were wonderful and it was very much like a stepped down River Dance performance. The musicians and singer did a great job also. We didn't want the show to end even after two encore performances.

  • Fantastic

by Debbie on 10/11/25Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show! I really enjoyed learning the history of Ireland and the clogging, the music the singing was awesome. I would absolutely recommend this show to my family and friends.

  • Great Show, not much of a Venue.

by Bubba on 10/11/25Fox Performing Arts Center - RiversideRating: 4 out of 5

The truth is, the show is first-class, with a presentation, exciting dancers, musicians, and a singer. I know that a troupe such as this may find it hard to put on a show in one of the top, modern venues, but the Fox Theater is so dated that it reaches back to the early Twentieth century to accommodate the viewers. The seat looks as if it may have been used during the Pre-Speakies era of Movies. So, when a first-class performance is given in an unfriendly theater, it is a shame.

  • A must see

by Gregg on 10/11/25Rating: 5 out of 5

A Taste of Ireland is a must see. I’m can old hoofer and my wife was a dancer also. We both were amazed at their skill levels and ability. The show did pick up the pace in the second half, the musicians were talented, the singer was great. It was fun to see the lead make dancer int er acting with the audience. The enthusiasm of the audience helped him do some great dancing. Overall we would gladly go see them again.

  • Great, as most Irishperformances

by Getrud on 10/3/25Springfield Symphony Hall - SpringfieldRating: 5 out of 5

The first part of the performance what somewhat low key and made me think it would be a disappointment. Saw one show with a bigger group in Seattle in 2004. That was very good from start to end. However, coming in for the second part was a super pleasant surprise. The dancing and the music raised to another level and the audience was very enthusiastic. The songs and the music, although only two instruments, sounded great and a lot of the audience sang along. The dancers were unbelievable, specially the male dancers that did some great solo performances at the end. It is a pity nobody was selling records or programs, showing the names of the artists!
