  • Fun and Funny

Cirque never disappoints! The aerialists dazzled, and the balancing acts kept us holding our breath. The magician/grouch storyline kept the show cohesive and nicely paced. One concern was one borderline-inappropriate joke from Mark during an audience interaction, but we're hoping we misheard. Our Mezzanine ticket had a great view but disappointed our girls with audience participation opportunities. Hoping for a return engagement next year, and we'll plan for Orchestra seats.

  • Terrific show for all ages!

by Sandy on 12/17/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Our group had everyone from a 3-yr. Old toddler to a 70 year-0ld grandpa and everyone enjoyed the show. The older folks appreciated the amazing talent of the performances while the youngest thought their favorite part of the show was when the magician took a folded playing card out of his mouth…Like I said, something for everyone :)

  • Christmas Spirit For The Whole Family!

by Christmas Magic on 12/16/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I'm not sure if they're completely affiliated with Cirque de Solei or not, and some of the reviews I read after purchasing my tickets were pretty harsh in that this was a bad show. Those reviews couldn't be farther from the truth! Where do I begin? The music was beautiful, with all the Christmas Carols that you want to hear choreographed with the wonderful dancers and acrobats. The ballet and the stunts and the floating acrobats was both beautiful and fun to watch. The beginning had a "circus feel"to it, which was enjoyable, but it only set the table for the evening. The amount of training and athleticism these performers have is incredible! They weren't perfect and when they made a mistake it had a stumble on stage, that got right back I to the routine. That wasn't a distraction, but rather a beautiful nod to all of these great performers being human. The highlight for me was when a woman gymnast did her routine in mid-air on a rotating spring. At one point she hooked her head into the ropes and spun independently in the middle of the spring to Josh Groban's "Believe". That was magnificent! The real "magic"of the evening came from the host, Mark Clearview. He's an actual magician and mentalist. Perhaps his biggest talent is being a comedian, as he had us all laughing along with him and his magic. He's a very charming entertainer and we're going to catch him in NYC someday performing his magic show. In the end, he brought the Christmas Spirit right along with him, too. This was part Broadway show; part circus performance, and all fun. As I walked out, I felt the same sense of "Christmas Magic"that I get every time I see The Rockettes at Radio City. I think this show might become a Christmas tradition for me. It was that enjoyable!

  • Feel catfished

by Unhappy on 12/16/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

The title of the show is misleading. The word Cirque is the second word in the title and even the playbill leads one to believe it’s a Cirque du Soleil show. It’s fine for kids but I saw people leaving the show because of that. For $125.00 for the ticket, I would not recommend this show. Shame on them.

  • So Good

by Cowa on 12/16/24Rating: 5 out of 5

I took two pre-teens. We all loved it. Fast acting. Interactive. Funny. Entertaining and talented. We all enjoyed it.

  • For kids

by Rae on 12/16/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 2 out of 5

It was entertaining enough but cheesy. The kids around me loved it.

  • Left at intermission

by DC on 12/15/24Rating: 1 out of 5

So first of all, this production clearly has no affliction with Cirque du Soleil. I guess you can’t copyright “Cirque”. Some of the performers were good but the set, production, and writing were so cheap and corny that we almost got up to leave before intermission. The magician and the “actor” were awful, and the production as a whole felt like something I would find at a county fair.

  • Just horribly bad value

by Ralph on 12/15/24The National Theatre - WashingtonRating: 1 out of 5

A collection of amateur street performers would have been better than this.

  • Don't Go

by DC Disappointment on 12/13/24Rating: 1 out of 5

This was horrible! The attempts at magic/comedy set the wrong tone from the start. Poorly reproduced holiday music, S--L--O--W moving, boring. This will not put you in the Christmas spirit. We left at intermission.

  • Don’t miss it

by Grateful on 12/13/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

Great show! Great venue! One member of party uses a mobility scooter and NJPAC could not have done more to accommodate needs!

  • Don’t recommend box seats on 3rd or 4th teir

by RayNay on 12/8/24New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 3 out of 5

Parking was safely and conveniently across from the theater, which was great. They had hard-working escorts each step of the way.. The theater itself is very open , spacious which was great. I paid extra to be on the 3rd tier ( box seating). However, not only did it feel too high, the ledge was too low AND You had to be against the ledge and partially leaning in/over to see the entire stage from our seat. This gave me and my son an uneasy feeling. When I asked to be seated in one of the many empty seats below the theater gave us the runaround that took a good 15 minutes away from the show , resulting in my just walking off and finding an empty seat and sitting down (luckily no one gave us a hard time). They need to raise the ledge fit box seats. They need to clearly state that there is partial stage obstruction from the seats.. Also they should make allowances for such instances not only did I pay for a ticket, I paid extra ( for what I thought was a good seat ). and I shouldn’t have had to miss the show because I was uncomfortable in the seats that was provided.

  • Slow moving.

by Buddy on 11/24/24Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 2 out of 5

Not worth the price or time spent getting there. Slow moving, dialog boring. Performers did exceptional. Left without feeling a Christmas spirit.

  • Sweet, Fun Christmas Show

by AVE on 11/24/24Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Fun, festive Christmas show that is great for both adults and kids. The host/comedian was engaging and funny. The acts, while not as daring as other Cirque shows I've seen, were still excellent. At times the stage design lighting overwhelmed the acts. All & all a terrific way to kick off the holidays!

  • Variety Show

by LieutenantASmith on 11/24/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

I was really impressed about all the acrobats, audience involvement, and the overall show. It exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed it and would recommend if anyone gets a chance to go see the show to do so. It will definitely not disappoint you.

  • Not worth your time or money

by Stac on 11/24/24Rating: 1 out of 5

We didn’t even stay thru intermission. So disappointing! This seems to be a hodgepodge of attempts to make a show that is truly entertaining. Not at all professional level.

  • Fun family fun!

by Ange on 11/23/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

The cast was very enthusiastic and engaging! Fun and interesting acts. I would go again!

  • Not the best

by Kelly on 11/23/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 1 out of 5

The talent was good but the host and co host were just not funny and it was almost dumb. It did not keep our attention at all. We found ourselves looking at our phone quite a bit. Lame.

  • Contrasting participants

by Jen on 11/23/24Robinson Center - Little RockRating: 2 out of 5

The acrobats were wonderful, amazing, but the “magician” and is side kick singer, between acts, who were supposed to be funny were so bad and boring that it ruined the whole thing. It is the first thing I have seen at Robinson over many years that I (and the 2 with me) found poor. The settings also never changed???

  • Disappointing although acrobatics were phenomenal

    by Lisa M on 11/23/24Rating: 2 out of 5

First of all, this show cannot figure out if it's going to be a family-friendly or adult. There were awkwardly presented references to adult humor that seemed to be there only for schtick. The backdrop to the story was awkward and had nothing to do with the amazing performers. The magician was not particularly good and also not entertaining or amusing. That being said, the acrobats, jugglers, and action performers were top quality. If they had simply allowed these performers to do their acts with better music and backdrops without the corny premise, it would have been amazing. I find it extra disappointing that they use the word Cirque as if it's related to Cirque du Soleil , which it plainly is not

  • Nice family show

Funny, inspiring, and beautiful show. Absolutely amazing.
