About

Hard-touring Florida rockers A Day to Remember carved out their niche more than a decade ago by fusing metalcore verses with pop-punk choruses. They toured relentlessly before releasing their debut album, 2005's "And Their Name Was Treason," on a small indie label. On the heels of that album's success, the band landed a deal with a major indie label and released three albums over the next four years. A dispute with the new label led made the band take a more  DIY approach in 2013, self-issuing a new album titled Common Courtesy. A Day to Remember's current lineup -- which has been in place since 2009 -- includes Jeremy McKinnon (vocals), Neil Westfall (rhythm guitar), Josh Woodard (bass), Kevin Skaff (lead guitar), and Alex Shelnutt (drums). The five-piece group is known for pulling out all the stops in concert -- the over-the-top set-design on their 2013 looked like a two-story suburban house -- delivering plenty of pyrotechnics and energy for the fans who buy tickets.

Every bit of this concert was amazing. My husband and I bought tickets not sure what we were going into but it was worth every penny and we would definitely pay to hear ADTR again in acoustic!!

    Definitely felt the vibe!

by J9 on 12/20/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I loved how old & unique the venue is, the atmosphere, the sound was phenominal, the staff was very friendly. I was on crutches in a boot & they let me skip any of the lines like when I went to the bathroom. Only thing I didn't like was that there was barely any food options besides popcorn & candy.

    Only because

by Mangowhiteclaw on 12/19/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because the seats there are absolutely too close together. There’s no way you’re not rubbing thighs, elbows shoulders with someone the whole time. But the show was fantastic. Also $11 for one white claw is robbery in this climate.

    Intimate and Refreshing

by KatoK on 12/19/22Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

More bands should take advantage of this idea. It creates an intimate experience with the artist and is refreshing to hear classic songs reimagined. Highly recommend.

    First Concert Experience

by DkCooper on 12/17/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

I had no clue what to expect seeing as this was my first real concert that I attended and I'm so glad it was! Just absolutely amazing!!! Very relaxed feel but the crowd was so hyped. The performance was shocking in such a great way from the insane music solos to the lead singers voice just being spot on as if it was radio quality. I loved the entire experience and can't wait to go to another live show!

Chill and Calm. ADTR was LIT!

by Josh Pauley on 12/17/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

The ADTR show was so comfortable and chill. My pregnant wife and I was ecstatic to find out we could enjoy our favorite band but in a calm setting. The show opened up with Wage War which was cool, then A Day to Remember lit the place on fire. Plenty of merch & the line was relatively short. The prices of food and drinks were fair as well. Super cool concert to go to.

    Band Awesome, Venue Needs Work

by Myk on 12/17/22The Andrew J Brady Music Center - Cincinnati

This is more a review for the Andrew J Brady center in Cincinnati. PLEASE get TVs set up on either side of the stage. It is really hard to see the artists from the further away seats, and especially from GA floor if anyone taller than you stands in front of you (which is guaranteed to happen unless you’re very tall). Please invest in a few TVs so we don’t have to watch the concert through other people’s phones. Thank you.

They were just as good acoustic as they are normally. It was cool to see special renditions of their songs.

    Phenomenal

by LWall09 on 12/16/22Cannon Center for the Performing Arts - Memphis

When I heard that ADTR was doing an acoustic tour, I was a little skeptical. In my mind it would have been a short show of them playing their studio recorded acoustic songs. Man did they prove me wrong. These talented musicians created fantastic country pop punk renditions of their most popular songs and I was left jaw dropped after every song. It was so much fun to see how far my favorite band has come over the years. The venue was gorgeous, clean and our seats were perfect. I had so much fun sharing this experience with my husband and reminiscing in the nostalgia in a new light. Definitely was A Day to Remember. Ha ha, get it? ILYSM

An amazing show at an amazing venue

by Sarah B. on 12/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

The sound, the lights, the theater, the band. Everything about the experience of seeing A Day to Remember put on an acoustic set. I cried so many tears of joy and just overwhelm. I don't think they could have picked a better venue for an acoustic show. I'm anxiously awaiting an acoustic album from them.

One of the best shows I have ever seen

by R33P3R311 on 12/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

This venue was breathtaking and the show was amazing. I have literally been thousands of concerts and this venue and this particular show worked so well together that it is by far one of my favorite shows. I have ever been to easily top five, probably top three and that spans over two decades worth of shows. This is the first time surprisingly that I've ever been to the Chicago theater and it was nothing short of extraordinary and the acoustic setup of this show accompanied and complemented that space so well. If they ever decide to do a show like this again, I hope that they make this a regular stop. Cannot write a good enough review. It was nothing short of superb.

One of the best live bands!

by stabwest13 on 12/15/22The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

A Day to Remember is by far one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen! They are fantastic both regular live setting and acoustic and also Wage War deserves more recognition for how amazing they are live!

    Great Show !!!!!!

by DarthBarth on 12/15/22The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

Both bands wage war and A Day to Remember put on an amazing show. This was a different style of show being more geared to acoustic so it was a very new experience even to older songs. The Filmore is a great Venue no bad seat in the house! I’ve never heard a crowd chant so loud for an encore my apple watch said it was 147 decibels for 3 mins.
