    Charlie Brown Christmas (Chicago) Amazing

by DragonsTail on 12/29/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Charlie Brown Christmas in Chicago was Really good. My 15 year old and 6 year old had a great time. It is great for all ages. Half the theater was kids!

    Not worth the money

by LoveMusicals1975 on 12/29/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I was disappointed in this production. The set was almost non-existent, the talent just mediocre, the costumes just blah. If I hadn't paid $200+ for my family of 5 to see the show, then it would have been a fine way to spend an hour. But it just wasn't worth the money. And afterwards, when the cast was signing autographs, Snoopy didn't even participate. Just a let down all around.

    disappointing

by Engshi18 on 12/29/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Very very disappointed. Show runs for 45 minutes!!!!! Synopsis is plain. Simple props and bad actors. It is just like a school play and not a professional play. Not recommended. My kid and I are sorely disappointed. Refund this money!!!!

    Great Niece's surprise

by WalkerD on 12/26/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I gave this play to my great niece as a surprise Christmas presents & she was thrilled. She has never been to the theatre & loved the play. And it has excited an interest in the theatre for her. I am partially thankful for the cast members interaction with the audience & taking the time to take pictures with the children.

    very short

by dmdlack on 12/20/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

For the money we spent for 4 tickets (about $170) we could not believe it was over in 45 minutes! Yes, 45 minutes! From 10 am to 10.45. Not worth the money!

    Charles Brown Christmas was adorable!!

by SuzIe1971 on 11/29/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I brought my son to see it for his 10th birthday. It was absolutely adorable and so well adapted to the movie. The theater was small and quaint and kid friendly. The allocated time for the play was perfect, especially for the families with young children. The cast did a Christmas sing a long with the audience at the end!! I would definitely recommend this play and I have already done so!!

    Cute!

by klike on 11/28/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

This show is exactly like the TV special, which our family loves. Especially good for younger kids -- probably age 3-8 or so. It's only about an hour. The actors are entertaining and fun. Overall, a great experience although my kids were on the older side for this (8 and 10).

    Expected much more!

by RKGK on 11/16/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

The play was very slow. I think for 5 and under it was difficult to understand the story. It was a 50 min show and honestly not worth the money. Sorry

    Meh...

by momdoc72 on 1/9/16Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I'm not sure what I was expecting. Maybe an actual snoopy, not a stuffed animal? I think the story was hard to follow for little ones who may not have seen the original movie. Overall, kind of boring. The actors were great with what they had to work with....they had wonderful voices.

Very well done. We took the 4 grandkids, and they were "spellbound" the whole time.

    Too short

by Txhernan on 12/31/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

The play was ridiculously short. From beginning to end was about 30 minutes. The actors didn't look professional, it felt that it was a students performance

    Fun for a Peanuts Enthusiast

by SnoopyLovesRoses on 12/30/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Short but very well done. I could have done without the fundraising pitch at the end. I paid for our tickets contributing to the fund. Some of the cast did not resemble their animated counterparts making it difficult to figure out who was who. Snoopy and Woodstock puppets were the best.

    A Little Christmas Magic

by Anonymous on 12/28/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Our family enjoyed this production while visiting Chicago. Both my girls (age 12 & 4), really enjoyed the show. The venue is quaint and I can't imagine there is a bad seat in the house. We really enjoyed the crowd engagement at the end of the production, singing Christmas songs with a full house was a special moment. We also thought it was rather special that they had the cast available for autographs after the show, our four year old really was quite impressed.

Great show for kids (big ones too)

by HTchicago on 12/25/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Very good presentation, short but probably long enough for young ones--about forty mins. Nice idea to add singing and dancing with the audience after the play. Actors and actresses very attentive with children after the show while signing autograph.

    Great for kids!

by AndreaRod on 12/24/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

This play was a recreation of the TV special and was well done. It lasted an hour and kept the kids' attention. The actors were good and involved the audience.

    Dissapointed

by Auntmella on 12/24/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

We were disappointed because the play was less than 40 minutes long. To travel 45 miles on a train and then cab to get there and have the play last for only 40 minutes was upsetting. The play did not start exactly on time and my grandson look at his watch when it was over and he said its only 1:40. The play Iis gear for very young children only up to age 5-6. Singing the songs after the play was over was almost the best part of the event. I should not have brought a 10 year old child..
