I brought my 3yo son for his first time. I wish the time could be moved up to maybe 11am. After Charlie Brown & Grinch he was done. 2pm interferes with his nap and he let my husband and I know it. I loved being able to experience the theater with him though. He LOVED the sing-a-long with the organ.
We always look forward to the triple matinee. It's a time for us as a family to celebrate Christmas. What a beautiful way to spend it in the historical Alabama Theater. The staff is extremely friendly and the selection of snacks and beverages are on point. Cait wait until next year.
Beautiful venue. Love the organ. Great prices on snacks. Would like Alvin and the Chipmunks instead of Rudolph. Great show time for kids
I love the charm of the Alabama theater and spending time with my daughter so this event is something my daughter and I try to do together every year
Our family tries to attend at least one Christmas movie experience at The Alabama Theater every season. We absolutely love it and just enjoy the feel of the nostalgia of the stunningly beautiful venue, the fun holiday beverages, the amazing Wurlitzer organ, and the overall family friendly energy! It is a lovely experience and we are blessed to have such a wonderful venue available to us in Birmingham.
It was a great way to bring in the holidays. We had a great time watching the triple movies and eating popcorn. The best was looking over at my son singing and enjoying himself. We can't wait to experience this again as a family. Kudos to the team for thinking of a great idea to bring in the holidays.
Cartoons were great - the concession lines were absolutely horrible - it took 25 minutes to get 2 drinks and popcorn.

The music at the beginning by Big Bertha was wonderful. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the cartoons. I only wish there had been a few more people working at the concessions because it moved so slowly.
Everything about the show and theatre was fantastic. However, waiting 45 minutes to get popcorn and soda was very unfortunate and I ended up missing 1.5 of the cartoons because of it.
