About

Key alumni musicians of David Bowieā€™s bands from across the decades come together anchored by his longest-standing and most frequent band member, keyboardist Mike Garson, joined by amazing former band alumni including Gerry Leonard, Carmine Rojas, Mark Plati and drummer Lee John.

A Bowie Celebration features an unforgettable and critically-acclaimed evening with world-class vocalists, such as legendary rock group Living Colourā€™s Corey Glover and crowd favourite, Joe Sumner (he is Stingā€™s son in all ways) along with some special guests to be announced ā€“ with a mix of top hits and deep cuts, itā€™s Bowie friends, playing Bowie music, in true Bowie style

    It would have been nice....

by leelee on 3/6/19The Wilbur - Boston

Welcome to the Mike Garson show. We get it you can play the piano. That being said, the vocalists and the band were excellent. It was great to see Charlie again. Also, too may deep tracks. For those of us of a certain age, it would have been nice to hear the earlier hits. I could have done without the Nile Rodgers era too. Not sure I would see this show again. I prefer to have my real Bowie memories.

    Bowie Extravaganza

by Moe on 3/6/19The Wilbur - Boston

The Bowie Experience exceeded my expectations. The 3 men who performed vocals captured the mood and beat of this fabulous performer throughout his career. I had the feeling that the artist on piano had been with him for a long time. His playing was superb. The vocalist on guitar, tall, slim, could even be taken for the man himself. A 2 1/2 hour fabulous show with no intermission. The Wilbur Theater allows patrons to either sit back or stand on the floor close to the stage and boogie. David (Major Tom) thank you for the many years you have given your fans.

    Incredible musicians

by Jonnysnips on 2/24/19Orpheum Theater - Madison

I think people thought this was a covert Or tribute band. When in fact it Bowie alumni from the studio and tours. The energy and passion of the performers was stellar even for the smaller audience in attendance. Song choices went deep along with the hits. I would definitely go again.

    Disappointing

by sodiumSyd on 2/13/19Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Got the VIP package, not really worth the money. Had good seats, but basically only got to see Bernard Fowler sing most of the songs. He doesn't do Bowie songs well. Gaby Moreno has a better voice but seemed sad and not into it this year. This was my 3rd year and won't be doing a 4th. Lose Fowler and bring in in some talent more suited to Bowie.

Audio perfection. Thank you to the Bowie fans for showing how much you love David, and thank you to the Bowie musicians and friends, your performance brought him back to life. It was like religion and it was very moving. An emotional tribute that I will never forget.

    Celebration???

by G. on 2/10/19Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Ok, sure, there was some great musicianship on display that night. But a Bowie celebration? No. Everyone on that stage did their thing, but they werenā€™t really putting on a show. Bowie was the ultimate showman, so, as a long time hard-core fan, I can tell you that I didnā€™t get a sense of the man who was meant to be celebrated, whatsoever. My friend and I left midway through the show. So disappointing.
