About

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is a rapper, singer and actor from The Bronx, New York. Born Artist Julius Dubose, the rapper shared his first solo track at the age of 19, followed by his debut mixtape Artist in 2016. He signed to Atlantic Records later that year and released his first album, The Bigger Artist, in 2017. Its lead single “Drowning” became A Boogie’s first of four Top 40 singles and eventually earned a diamond RIAA certification. His 2018 follow-up Hoodie SZN reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and featured the singles “Look Back at It” and “Swervin’.” 2020’s Artist 2.0 and 2022’s Me vs. Myself similarly yielded Top 10 chart debuts as well as platinum singles like “Numbers” and “24 Hours.” In 2024, A Boogie released his fifth album, Better Off Alone. Across his career, the rapper has worked with Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, Metro Boomin, 50 Cent, DJ Khaled and more.

  • More of a club appearance than a concert

    by Not satisfied
on 10/18/22Shrine at Foxwoods - MashantucketRating: 1 out of 5

Was supposed to start at 9pm, A boogie came out around 12am but didn’t perform until almost 1am. He sung about 3-5 songs and that was it. It was way too packed, Shrine should not have sold so many tickets. You couldn’t move anywhere, people were constantly fighting, arguing and pushing. Definitely wasn’t a concert and I think tickets were way over priced for an appearance at a club that you had zero personal space and couldn’t even enjoy a club experience.

  • Waiting for What?

    by S on 10/18/22Big Night Live - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

I've been wanting to see A-Boogie since 2017 and finally decided to go after my friend raved about his 2018 concert, talking about "he performed for so long, it was the best concert I've been to". Well, we got there at 10 and weren't allowed admittance until 11. Then came the 3 opening acts. So once that was done it was 1 AM and then a DJ came out. A-Boogie finally came out around 1:20 and sung for legit 22 minutes. Y'all.... Performance wise 10/10, but 70 bucks for 22 minutes? NAH. Don't waste your money fr.

  • so disappointed

by julia on 10/18/22Shrine at Foxwoods - MashantucketRating: 2 out of 5

this was advertised as a concert and that’s not what it was at all... more like a special guest. he didn’t come out until 1am, played 3 songs, and then stood to the side smoking the whole time. and even when his own songs played he stood there doing nothing. not sure if this is the venue, him, or management that went wrong but should not have been advertised as a concert. other than that, he’s a good performer when he actually does perform

I loved the environment at Big Night Live and A Boogie and DJ SpinKing know how to put on a show. Everything was great, I had so much fun and will definitely go to see him again next time he's in Boston!

  • fun

    by L on 10/13/22Rating: 4 out of 5

i absolutely love boogie so this was fun for my friends and i. it did take him a long time to come out which made us a little annoyed considering the opener wasn’t very good and we were standing the whole time. he played a lot of old songs which i loved! he also doesn’t sound the same in person đŸ«Ł

by Brayden on 12/14/21Cross Insurance Center - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

This was my second concert ever and the best one I've seen performed, this man a boogie went absolutely crazy for Maine. Hennessy, eglizzy, and B.Love all went crazy that night too, i highly suggest if you get the chance, go to an a boogie concert, its definitely worth it, it was a movie Saturday night!!!

  • didn’t show up

  • RUN ME MY MONEY

by yrb on 12/6/21Cross Insurance Center - BangorRating: 1 out of 5

Wasn’t even a concert to go to. I just want my money Back tbh

  • Was on stage for 45 minutes

    by S.N. on 11/30/21Rating: 2 out of 5

Went to his concert at Westchester County Center. A DJ and unknown artists that weren't even that good went on for about 3 hours or more. He eventually came out and preformed for 45 minutes. They also ran out of water after the first hour leaving people dehydrated sitting on the floor...

  • TERRIBLE

by Ry on 11/17/21Cross Insurance Center - BangorRating: 1 out of 5

A Boogie never showed up. The DJ tried to distract everyone but kept lying and saying he was back stage when in reality the artist wasn’t even in the state.

  • Worst Thing Ever

by Bryce on 11/17/21Cross Insurance Center - BangorRating: 1 out of 5

The event staff and the DJ lied to the crowd three times. They lied to us in order to stall and prolong the show. There is no doubt in my mind that everyone knew at the start that A Boogie was never going to show up. Disappointed that no one has reached out from the event to give me my money back yet. I've been to a few concerts. This has got to be the worst experience ever. Great job everyone!

  • TERRIBLE

  • Unfortunate

by Stac on 11/16/21Cross Insurance Center - BangorRating: 1 out of 5

So I bought tickets for my 4 adult children and after stressing over outfits and hotel rooms...they get there, and the dude never showed up. They let everyone in the building they could just to say...aboogie is on a plane elsewhere. How messed up. These artist should care more about their fans. People drove to Bangor from Vermont to see him and this is what happened
