To hear Neil Diamond‘s greatest hits again was remarkable and nostalgic. Nick Fradiani was the real deal - he sounded exactly like Neil Diamond himself which made the musical that much more enjoyable! Great cast selection! Sheer talent. And to have the real Neil Diamond in the audience the day we went was amazing! Got a few good photos as we were seated near enough.
This musical does a fabulous job connecting the lyrics of Neil’s songs into the life he lived. He wrote about what he was going through, even the very deep and personal events. It’s a must-see show for all ages.
We have gone to many Neil Diamond concerts and a few tributes to Neil. We love his music and his stage presence. He always put his all into his performances. So going to see the play was natural for us. We were pleasantly surprised at how it was presented. Neil sitting as an older man with his therapist looking back on his career, his depression and his decisions. It was a serious topic, with humor and great music, information about him that we didn't know. The performance of young Neil, Joe Caskey, was the highlight for me. With the serious topic of Neil reflecting on his life, the music made it so enjoyable and worth every effort to go see!!
Disappointed we got the understudy for the young Neil. He did so a very good job!
We had great seats and “a beautiful noise” did not disappoint. I had seen the play in New York during its preview. It was wonderful seeing it in NYC and just as wonderful seeing it at the Pantages in Los Angeles. I plan on seeing it for the third time at the Segerstam in Costa Mesa.
I have been a Neil Diamond fan for 40 years so finally seeing this show made my heart smile! Nick Fradiani and the entire cast and musicians were EXECEPTIONAL! They brought and left their heart and soul in the stage and entertained us! Thank you 🙏
I was stunned by the entire performance! The sets, the audio, the actors, the vocals, the dancers, and the band were all amazing! I actually cried a little when Diamond’s songs began because they brought back memories. All very meaningful to me. And where and how did the producers find an actor/singer who looks and sounds exactly like Neil Diamond?! Overwhelming!
The story and music of Neil Diamond was absolutely beautiful. Hands down to, Nick Fradiani! If my friend and I didn’t know better we would have thought Mr. Diamond was on the stage singing. An amazing show! Thank you Pantages for all the wonderful and affordable shows.

A Beautiful Noise is a must see musical! It is both heartfelt and entertaining. The cast is incredibly talented and it is like watching the real Neil Diamond perform. I’ve already seen it twice and would see it 10 more times!
It was a packed house of enthusiastic fans. The male lead captured Neil’s voice perfectly. The dance scenes glittered. I would highly recommend!
The best musical I have ever seen. The gentleman that played Neil Diamond was OUTSTANDING!!! He even sounded like him….if you closed your eyes you would think it was the real Neil Diamond. The rest of the cast was also amazing and I loved the sing-along songs at the end of the performance. Everyone in the audience stood up and participated!!!

A Beautiful Noise is one of the best Musicals I have ever seen plus I am a huge fan of Neil Diamond and his wonderful music. I went to see the 2 pm matinee show last Saturday, July 12, 2025, and the musical had humor and also sadness to Neil Diamond's life story. The musical led by Nick Fradiani who played the young Neil Diamond was so good with his singing of Neil Diamond's hit songs and it felt like you're seeing a Neil Diamond concert. Another highlight was Hannah Jewel Kohn who played Neil Diamond's second wife Marcia and her performance of Forever in Blue Jeans, her singing and dancing was another spectacular musical number! Best of all, at the end of the show, with all the applause for the cast and live band, Nick Fradiani announced to the crowd that there's a big surprise and said the real Neil Diamond is here today with us, then the lights pointed to the Orchestra area, right side, a few rows in front of me, everyone standing and clapping at this time, there he was standing with a microphone in his hand, the live band started playing Sweet Caroline, Neil Diamond started singing and everyone started singing along. I was lucky to snap a few pictures of the real Neil Diamond! This musical is a very memorable event and once in a lifetime experience I will never forget and will cherish forever!
The show was full of all the greatest hits and a heartwarming story of his life. AND HE CAME OUT TO SING THE ENCORE!! How lucky were we?! Highly recommended.
The show was incredible, the dancers, singers and if course, the songs! The story was intimate and emotionally charged. But the greatest thrill was singing along with Neil Diamond to ‘Sweet Carolyn’ at the finale! He was in the house!
I went to his Hot August Night concert in 1972 at the Greek Theater so this musical was very nostalgic for me. I came home and sang with my 53 year old Hot August Night album.
Loved the play and performance...I was fortunate enough to be at the Saturday performance that Neil Dimond himself attended and sang some of Sweet Caroline!
