THE UNTOLD TRUE STORY OF A BROOKLYN KID WHO BECAME A CHART-BUSTING, SHOW-STOPPING, AWARD-WINNING AMERICAN ICON
Created in collaboration with Neil Diamond himself, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE is the uplifting true story of how a kid from Brooklyn became a chart-busting, show-stopping American rock icon. With 120 million albums sold, a catalogue of classics like "America," "Forever in Blue Jeans," and "Sweet Caroline," an induction into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, a Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award, and sold-out concerts around the world that made him bigger than Elvis, Neil Diamond's story was made to shine on Broadway-and head out on the road across America.
Like Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical before it, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL is an inspiring, exhilarating, energy-filled musical memoir, that tells the untold true story of how America's greatest hitmaker became a star, set to the songs that defined his career.
Singer was good but stage settings drab and undramatic.
This was one of the best productions we have seen. All 6 of us would see it again.
Great insight and music about the Extraordinary life of Neil Diamond The actors that play Neil Diamond voices when they sing sound just like him.
I gained a whole new appreciation for Neil Diamond and his songwriting! The lead in this show is nothing g short of amazing! We loved every second of it.
The overall experience was amazing. Being a fan of Neil Diamond for as long as I have been I have to say the Nick didn’t an amazing job and sounded exactly like Neil. The entire performance left me wanting to come again to see it.
Great show, I saw it on Broadway and I actually liked this "Neil diamond"and Marsha much better
This was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. The cast was phenomenal!
If you’re a Neil Diamond fan you will thoroughly enjoy A Beautiful Noise. Broadway quality show! The cast was outstanding, the music & singing were spot on.
Excellent show Music and story line of Neil Diamond was amazing and entertaining.
Amazing talent and staging made for an incredible show and a wonderful time was had by all. We got to sing Happy Birthday to Neil with the whole cast!
Hate to compare, BUT the NYC version was FAR superior. Much more relatable with better cast. Overall, this was OK.
The story line was well thought out and the acting / dancing / choreography was Broadway caliber. Nick Fradiani was almost Neil.
I just loved this performance and Nick Furiani as Neal Diamond was wonderful!
The music, voices, sets were wonderful. The end was bothersome. Too much with the therapist. Neil Diamond’s songs are so great. His story was overplayed by the whole therapy scenes. Reduce that and it would be great
We enjoyed the show and the songs. The "young"Neil Diamond was excellent, very similar voice to the real Neil.
Fabulous show. If you closed your eyes, you would have thought Neil Diamond was singing. Truly a "must see"!!!
Thin story line. Overpowering orchestra. Not worth the time or money.
A Great show. I had forgotten home much I loved listening to Neil Diamond songs growing up. The music performances were top notch sounding very much like the original. The acting was also excellent. The bonus was an inside look at Neil Diamond’s personal and professional life from his beginnings growing up in Brooklyn up to the current. The actor that portrayed Neil was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Highly recommend seeing it.
I took my mother in law to the show as she knows all Neil Diamond’s music. I was surprised at how many songs I knew. I really enjoyed how they related his life story to the lyrics of his songs. The music was amazing. The singer sounded and looked just like Neil Diamond. Highly recommend this show! Also, the volume at DPAC was just right as the last show I attended there (The Piano Guys) was so loud that it really ruined the show for me and I felt like I ruined my hearing.
Best show DPAC has presented in recent years. Cast and Orchestra were excellent. Musical production told a sensitive story in a very caring way.
